Rats Flee Sinking Ship… Maxine Waters and Black Caucus Slam Obama (Video)

Maxine Waters slammed President Obama today, “We’re getting tired, yall! We’re getting tired!”
The Examiner has more.
During a sometimes-raucous session of what’s being called the “For the People” Jobs Initiative tour, a key member of the Congressional Black Caucus told an audience in Detroit Tuesday that the CBC doesn’t put pressure on President Obama because he is loved by black voters. But at the same time, Rep. Maxine Waters said, members of the CBC are becoming increasingly tired and frustrated by Obama’s performance on the issue of jobs. Even as she expressed support for the president, Waters virtually invited the crowd to “unleash us” to pressure Obama for action.
“We don’t put pressure on the president,” Waters told the audience at Wayne County Community College. “Let me tell you why. We don’t put pressure on the president because ya’ll love the president. You love the president. You’re very proud to have a black man — first time in the history of the United States of America. If we go after the president too hard, you’re going after us.”
The problem, Waters said, is that Obama is not paying enough attention to the problems of some black Americans. The unemployment rate for African-Americans nationally is a little over 16 percent, and almost twice that in Detroit. And yet, Waters said, the president is on a jobs-promotion trip through the Midwest that does not include any stops in black communities.

Maxine Waters and the rest of the black caucus has been pushing Obama as the great hope of the African American race. Blacks voted for Obama by over 90% in 2008. It just seems to me that a majority of blacks have to have a leader, no matter how good, no matter if they keep making life harder for them, they just need someone to tell them what to do.
The nice thing about the Tea Party is that, being leaderless forces you to want to improve your surroundings. Nobody tells any one what they have to do, who to vote for, we make those decisions based on what is good for us as individuals.
It makes me sorry for those who live in squalor, in war zones, their children being murdered daily and politicians like Waters who care SO much about these poor people do not do one thing to improve the lives of their constituents. It must be terrible to get absolutely nothing from your representative but keep giving them your vote.

In my opinion…Michelle Bachmann is the only candidate, that leaves no doubt where she stands as a conservative…and I believe Bachmann would win in a landslide, over Obama.
I don’t remember hearing much, or seeing the other declared candidates…stand up against Obama….during the whole ObamaCare fiasco. Bachmann was right there in the beginning…and leading the fight against Obama’s agenda.
To me…that say’s alot about who she is….and if you can trust her.
I know with Bachmann….it won’t be just lofty rhetoric…and sweeping promises….that are ignored when she is in office. She will follow through with her promises…and quickly.

In all the years since Kennedy made that speech the Democratic party has deteriorated into a mutually parasitic group of caucuses that are even willing to kill their host as long as they can keep the “benefits” going their way. Maybe someone will finally look at how the immigration issues – legal and illegal – is causing the displacement of American workers. All are affected, but the Black community more so because young black men without college experience have traditionally filled the jobs now occupied by illegal and low skilled legal workers.
In addition, legal work based immigrants are diluting any affirmative action programs since someone can hire an immigrating Asian and meet the requirement as well as a Black or Native American. The primary losers in this situation are white men.
In addition to the basic problems, immigrant hiring managers seem to favor their own ethnic group when hiring. Just look at the demographics of work groups headed by foreign nationals or recent immigrants.

If Maxine Waters had her way, there wouldn’t be any spending cuts, nor any other economically sound moves that would be reasonably calculated to lead to more and better jobs. All she knows is handouts. These people may be angry about unemployment, but what they are asking for is unlikely to turn the situation around.

“For the People” are the key words here, Waters. Everyone of every color is hurting. I understand that many fathers leave the household in Black families. But I feel the community organizer would tell you to start working in your community to help. And stop giving and giving hand outs and start getting those who need help by local people who can encourage and instruct for the betterment of the community.
I am upset with Obama for the spending and his policies, Waters you should be too. But these are different times and the help you are referring to will not just cost but it will cost those who you wish to help. Yes, it is time to get off the couch and get out and work.
Teach kids to be less reliant on Government and more reliant on themselves and those in the community. You can shout till the cows come home but our government is broke, enough is enough.
