Nice. Rapper Lupe Fiasco motivated young teens at a leadership conference recently with a rap about America being the “biggest terrorist in the world.”

West is full of it. If anyone there was “questioning” anything, it wasn’t done out loud. They were preaching to a choir, telling a receptive audience what it wanted to hear, and the audience repaid the favor by not raising any difficult questions, such as “Are you sure you’re using the word “terrorism” correctly? Because it’s commonly defined as committing violence against civilians in order to create terror in others and thus achieve a political end. If your military is, for instance, smoking Iraqi tanks or calling in air strikes against Taliban mortar positions or patrolling the Sea of Japan as a deterrent to Chinese or Russian or North Korean military ambitions . . . . you could argue about whether those are good things to do, but you can’t call them terrorism and expect me to sit here with a straight face.”
Maybe the clip just ends before one of the bright young minds brings up that troubling question.

Tavis Smiley has a show on PBS and another on Public Radio International. It figures that our patriotic friends in public broadcasting would give a microphone to an enemy of America. If Smiley had only killed a cop then he would have 3 shows in public broadcasting.

My black, African American neighbor can’t stand these jerks. She hates them with a passion. Strangely, she has a job, her kids have jobs, she keeps a beautiful house and garden (makes ME envious of the garden and her nicer-than-mine lawn!), and is fearful of these horrible people and precisely something like this, where the kids are taught to hate and to hold on to that hate.

Was America a terrorist nation in World War 2? Sure, it would have been better to let the Nazis overrun the world, and the same for the Russians, instead of standing up to them in Europe and indeed, all over the world. We KNOW, from documents found in the USSR itself, that world domination WAS the name-of-the-game for the Russians. But no, they weren’t the biggest terrorists.
Cornell West, Fiasco and Travis Smiley all totally beclown themselves. What they say is risible, but it’s also scary they are foisting their hate in 13-18 year olds, who will grow up to hate and yes, become community organizers (aka Socialist agitators) or will feel no remorse about killing an old man in a game or beating up whites just walking by.
Truly a disgusting bunch.

So, one evening ~4 years ago, I am walking along Nassau Street at Princeton University. and who do I see walking together? Tavis and Cornell. So, this relationship goes back a few years ago.
Cornell is a professor “so-called” at Princeton University. What an embarrassment for Princeton.
On top of that, Van jones is at Princeton, too — with offices in the same bldg as Cornell. wonder if they chat?
