If the Obama Administration REALLY wanted to create jobs why is Labor Secretary Solis speaking at anti-capitalist rallies?

Secretary of Labor Solis spoke at the anti-capitalist, corporate-hating NPA event in March. Notice in the picture that the democracy arrow is pointing in one direction and the corporation arrow is pointing the other direction.

The NPA is a radical anti-capitalist community organizing group linked to the SEIU. The group holds radical rallies against US businesses and business owners. The group also terrorizes children. And, of course, the group is also directly linked to Barack Obama.

The White House was so proud of the fact that Secretary Solis spoke at this socialist rally that they posted the news on their blog.

The White House Blog reported:

Department of Labor Secretary Solis speaking to the National People’s Action.

Nearly 700 members of the National People’s Action (NPA), a network of 25 grassroots organizations from 13 states promoting banking reform, affordable housing, immigration rights and worker rights issues heard from Secretary of Labor Hilda L. Solis on March 6, 2011. In a rousing speech, Secretary Solis affirmed DOL’s commitment to all workers, highlighted the department’s efforts to protect low-wage and immigrant workers, and stressed the importance of continuing to expand the work of the Wage and Hour Division (WHD) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.

The Wage and Hour Division and the DOL Center for Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships have been working together the past year with NPA affiliates in Iowa, Kansas, Massachusetts, Michigan and Rhode Island to develop stronger collaborative relationships at a regional level. NPA leaders and DOL staff from these regions have been working together to address worker protection issues such as wage theft and misclassification. NPA and WHD are now expanding this collaborative work in Chicago, New York, Colorado, Missouri and California.

Of course they would prefer that we all work for the government and the government provides us with a stipend, subsidizes our food and we have to start making lines early in the morning in order to get food for dinner. The fact that it would not work is irrelevant. It has not worked in communists countries because if people do not have something to strive for, productivity decreases. Why work any harder if it does not improve your way of life?

    I have come to the conclusion that, the majority of people who get entitlement payments are abusing the system. The poor in this country use to be content with what they had because most of them were Rich in Spirit. Not anymore. Not all, but it sure as hell seems the majority of the entitled are not satisfied with what they have, and feel that it is Unfair that others (no matter how hard they worked to attain their wealth) have more than them.
