Mahdi Al-Dajjal commented:
America is on a path of economic destruction. Today was the last chance to turn it around and take steps to save it. Instead, they all chose to ensure Obama’s re-election in 2012 and not cut any spending at all. And, they’ve started a Super-Duper Commission that is going to make so-called recommendations of spending cuts and tax hikes which the Congress may chose to completely ignore. Since the commission is stacked with an equal number of Dems and Republicans, gridlock is virtually assured in the Committee! Worse, they’re all goint to spread out on all the talking head news programs and proceed to lie through their teeth about what they’ve done!
The Senate can stop this but, by definition, they’re a worse bunch of back-patters and hand-shakers who preface everything they say with “my good friends across the aisle”. This will pass the Senate by an even larger percentage than it did in the House.
Today, I formally abandon the Republican Party as I can no longer be associated with such pathetic spineless wimps as Boehner & Cantor. I’m not going to move to being an independent either. The only way to get rid of people like Boehner and Cantor and the rest of them is to join the dark side and start the process of openly mocking them at every turn and making fools out of them until their entire party collapses into oblivion.
And I’m going to cheer the re-election of Barack Obama and the economic collapse of America. Hey, all you idiots got what you voted for, in both parties.

The absolute short-sightedness of many of my Republican brethren in these blogs amazes me.
We sent two stronger bills to the Senate. Neither were even allowed up for debate. What were we to do, shut down the government unless ALL of our demands were met? Does anyone here even care if Independents vote Republican in 2012? Independents WANT COMPROMISE. They are not ideologues, they just want government that works.
The Democrats have NOTHING to run on in 2012 other than scaring the Independents into thinking we are too radical. They have the MSM to pound home that message every day. You don’t go for it on 4th down inside your own 10 yard line and you don’t throw deep every play. You play all 4 quarters and if you win by a field goal at the end you are glad to take the victory.
By passing this have we solved America’s debt problem? Does anyone here actually believe that was anywhere close to possible when we control neither the Senate nor the WH? Seriously? So stop bellyaching that Boehner didn’t delivery your unicorn with a nice bow around it’s neck. What he did deliver was a very good chance for us to win it all in 2012.
Unless of course everyone cries about how he sold us out and divides the party. Now THAT is exactly what the Democrats want right now, isn’t it? So if you help to divide the party when we need to unite, you are really working for the Democrats aren’t you? Let’s let the left self-destruct and eat their own here. Everywhere you read they are saying they got their asses kicked. Fine, let them implode.
Let’s be a team.

We need to stand together and challenge those Republicans that voted yes and make them explain themselves or primary them, there is still hope in 2012 and we cannot eat our own; That’s what the left does. Establishment Republicans are locked in the mindset of being complete idiots and losers whose only objective in their everyday life is to do whatever it takes to make friends with those who hate them so they can feel better about themselves. The people they’re supposed to represent are only a secondary consideration at best. George Bush II had this problem in spades and he sold his own party so the Democrats would like him. They never did, and now we have Obama and a White House filled with openly avowed Marxists, Maoists, Socialists, and Communists.

In 2010 ALOT of Conservative Republicans (like 70+ of them) got sent to Congress to carry out a certain agenda which they swore up and down that they’d do if they got elected. That agenda include the repeal Obamacare and putting an end to out of control spending. If they didn’t raise the debt ceiling, there would be an automatic 40% cut in spending. Heck, they could’ve attached the repeal of Obamacare onto the debt ceiling bill and dug in their heels until Obama signed it. But they caved. In fact, they ALWAYS cave whenever they start feeling that the Democrats and their media lapdogs are getting angry at them. They’ve done nothing to further the agenda they got sent to Washington promising (cross their heart and hope to die) to promote.
If you want to keep supporting these losers who always disappoint, then please be my guest. I’m done with them.
