In March Harry Reid told MSNBC, “The tea party is over!”

But it wasn’t. The tea party forced democrats to promise to cut spending before raising the debt limit this month.

Yesterday Harry Reid told journalists again that he wants expects the tea party to fade away.
The LVRJ reported:

Democrats were tossed from office in record numbers last November. That groundswell is shaping the 2012 campaign.

But Reid doesn’t expect it to last.

“The Tea Party was the result of a terrible economy,” he said. “I’ve said that many times, and I believe that.”

“That (the Tea Party) will pass. They will lose a number of seats next year.”

Keep dreaming, Harry. Unfortunately, for you and Obama, the tea party is here to stay. Just wait until next year!

    hahahahahahahaha..

i’ve a feeling Harry is going to fade away before the Tea Party..

    aah, too funny..

    poor pitiful Harry

fade away Reid, just fade away..

    ==

  3. um, yea, right.

I’m a former dem, not a TP member, and I identity more with the tea party principles than I do my former undemocratic party.

Poor Harry Reid, TP is not an official party, its just regular patriotic americans, they are never going away.

  4. I wonder what exactly is in the wine and water they drink in DC? The good stuff is illegal so they can’t smoke it.

  5. Hey Harry…”Watch The F*ck Out” it is just getting started baby……………

  6. You’ll be like that little old man carrying the lantern in the train tunnel and the Tea Party Express will run your crusty old @ss over before you know it………cho cho (train horn)……

  7. “The Tea Party was the result of a terrible economy”

No. The Tea Party was the result of a terrible GOVERNMENT.

A government filled with people like Mr. Reid.

MR. Reid? That sounds much nicer than SENATOR Reid doesn’t it?

  8. It’s going to be close, Harry gone, the tea party still growing.

Harry Wishes for a lot, gets nothing.

  9. I have no word from your Maker Harry, but don’t count on outliving me.

  10. Congress needs to investigate the Soroscrats in the Senate and White House to see if they queered the debt deal on purpose so their Puppet Master could win a bet against our rating.

  11. The Pravda cesspool “The Hill” has a propaganda piece out today about a poll of gullible independents blaming the Tea Party for holding up the debt debate. Of course, it says nothing about the compromise they made which immediately led to our credit downgrade but, they sure were having fun sniveling about it.

Get this: One of the Comrade remarks actually referred to the Tea Party as ‘Useful Idiots’. Apparently, they don’t like the label at all but, have no idea where it comes from or why so, have no shame trying to use it elsewhere. Their ignorance would be shocking if we weren’t fully expecting it.

  12. Harry Reid is proof that a cockroach can live with its head removed, e.g. no brain.

  13. Poor old Harry got his head wedged up his arse again.

  14. The Tea Party is not the result of a terrible economy, Senator. It is the result of terrible leadership in Washington.

Keep looking up,a house may fall on you.

  15. So, Dingy Harry assumes the economy will improve under the Empty Suit’s stewardship? Now THAT is a hoot! So, by his own (faulty) logic, the TEA Party movement will only gain momentum as BHO and the Progressives stay stuck on Keynesian stupid.

  16. The TP didn’t just magically appear in early 2009; it had always (since 1776) been there.

Early 2009 was simply a “I’ve Had Enough Moment” by a lot of Americans. Fedgov (and several Big Government minded states) have been pushing us around for far too long, and we decided to speak up.

Reid of course will fade long before the TP.

  17. i believe the teaparty will outlast reid and obama. If the teaparty is the result of a terrible economy, the terrible economy is still here and won’t go away anytime soon.

  18. It really must suck to live in denial the way the Commicrats do.

i’d like to know how the Dems, whom Soros claims to own, made out..

[Democrats beat the market by 73 basis points per month, compared
to 18 for Republicans. That’s a rout anyway you look at it. Senators fare
    even better than house members.]

  20. The Tea Party can plant 300,000+ in Washington and 10,000+ in major cities EVERY time we hold a national rally. Even then, Harry will feed the same tired line. Wishing for us to go away wont make it happen.

  21. Shorter (but honest) Dingy Harry: “I’m a scared and somewhat demented old leftist fool whose time has passed, and I fear the Tea Party.”

  22. Reid: The Tea Party is Over – Chickens Hardest Hit

  23. Is the Tea Party bigger than Palin or Bachmann…

  24. That was a little obscure. Chickens. Mad Harry’s been abusing them, so whadya expect.

  25. SEIU maintains and runs the voting machines in Nevada, correct? I believe Reid will never lose as long as that is the case. This vicious old woman isn’t up for reelection until 2016 – his brittle arteries may send him packing before then, but the Democratic machine will install someone just like him unless the voting machine deal is fixed.

  26. Oh Harry,

Wishing that the TEA PARTY is going away is NOT going to happen……………Your retirement will COME FIRST before WE the TEA PARTY will go. Or your stupid, insipid, collective party will lose more members and you become a minority leader. As Walter would say to you: “DUMBASS!!!!!!!!”

  28. If the demonrats really believed that, they wouldn’t spend so much time trying to blame us for Washington’s problems. No, they know that their days are ending. They fear us the way that roaches fear light.

  29. What this disgusting thief is not saying is that he believes that the Progs will succeed in collapsing the economy and bringing on chaos, and that this will enable the crooks to consolidate power and establish a totalitarian regime. In that case, the Tea Party would not just fade away, Tea Party patriots would either go along or be eliminated. We’d better make sure that that does not happen. See ya’ Harry.

  30. The Tea Party is there to stand against bad government at the congressional level and a Marxist President. Until both of those are no longer in existance, the Tea Party will be there. Harry is the Debt Man Walking along with Barry.

  31. There’s a spot reserved for the likes of Harry in the Lake of Fire.

  32. If wishes were horses, Harry, beggars would ride. — Wishing it were true won’t make it true. The Tea Party will fade and vanish when America gets back on course and the nightmare that is the ObamaNation has ended.

  37. What Dingy Harry (and many in the media) may think is that since there aren’t 10′s of thousands of Tea Party activists out in the streets, that the energy has gone out of the movement. If so, they could not be more wrong. What they fail to understand is that the Tea Party movement is a movement of working stiffs. Once the point was made, the marches and rallies went by the wayside and the Tea Partiers went to work in local politics. They are now involved at every level. When the time comes for rallies and marches again, the Harry Reids of the world will see the numbers take time off from work again and come out into the streets because the cause has not gone away.

    oh dip re: #34

aah, forgot to add the following..

only difference being, should for some reason either Palin, Bachmann,
or both be unable to continue in their capacity as TP reps so to speak,
the TP will survive just fine, as it constantly adds new members, ergo,
replenishes & grows all on it’s own..

  39. The Tea Party will be around so long as Marxist clowns like Reid are still around.

  40. That right Harry, the Tea Party is going to fade away 4 days after you croak!

Yup, when they throw your disgusting body into that hole we are ALL going to gather around and empty our bladders on you. The wager is that turds really do float. Are you a floater Harry? I think you are Harry, but we want to know the truth…. Then if you do float, which I’m sure you will, we’re all going to take our guns and perforate that floating POS.

It should be great fun Harry, and you’ll be there to enjoy it too!

  41. The TEA Party isn’t a card carrying organization per se, but a movement of like minded voters believing in principles that best serve and maintain this freedom loving republic.

  42. “The Tea Party was the result of a terrible economy”
Harry Reid is a result of inbreeding.

  43. Words to Harry.

The days of rallies may be over.

    We’re becoming the American Resistance.

    Watch out.

  44. In the words of the late Jerry Gracia, “will not fade away”……

  45. sorry, “Garcia”.

  46. Oh dear, Harry’s been on Pelosi’s crack pipe..AGAIN! The Tea Party has always been here, not organized as it is now, but in the hearts and minds of rank and file Americans.
It was here when we won our Independence..
It was still here in the war of 1812..
It was here when we fought the Civil War..
It was here for World Wars 1 and 2…
It was here for the Civil Rights marches…
It was here for the Cold War…
It is Still here after 9/11

It has always recognized evil and has always fought for the right and righteous cause.
Rino’s and Socialist Democrats beware…The Tea Party has ALWAYS won!

  47. Harry, can you resist 30k perhapse 100k armed TEA party conservatives.

How bout 30 million?? NRA stats bear me out. And their are other sypathetic to our

cause. Harry, yours is a dying cause. Counting on the non producers to protect you?

We the producers outnumber and out gun the slothfull. You might wish to consider

that true Americans have been hording Ammo, Guns, Food, Fuel, And alternate

means of communication. All hardened from EMP and blackouts. Try a marshall law

shutdown. We are the Locals. Your boxed in an irrelivant. Time to go the way of

the dinosaur. Adapt of perish. We have been adapting to you for decades.

    Can you adapt to us???

I think not. We are coming for you, socialists.

your choice is peaceful or not. At the baallot box or in the street.

No never mind, I prepared for both.

    Powder is dry

  48. You know, I’ve always believed that these leftists aren’t going to budge without a credible threat of violence. It occurs to me that we ought to send them a sign of just how many people might be willing to do violence in the interest of getting rid of the leftists. But maybe on some date like 9/11/11, if enough green paint blobs were to show up on the Beltway, they might get an idea. Mind you, I am absolutely NOT talking about actually shooting anyone or even anything, not am I talking about overthrow of the government. Just a peaceful warning.

    Just a thought.

  49. I am trying to make the Tea Party 400% larger, please help me at http://www.teapartyrecruiter.com . John Galt

  50. Crazy dog Harry Reid pay your own damn speed train.

  51. Dingy Harry said “With the economy getting better”, well I guess we know who made out with the down grade, can categorically state my position in the economy has not improved one iota. Harry put the kool aid up, that stampede you hear isn’t gamblers heading for Vegas but the Tea Party fixing to run your scrawny a$$ over.

  52. hahhahahahhahahahh……………yeah right……..the Tea Party is not going anywhere, we are making things happen as I type!

Silly man you are Reid…….silly silly man….someday soon you will see more than the 1.5 you saw out your **&*window in Sept 09.

  53. If the Tea Party should ever fade away, it will be long after you fade away, Harry.

Your existence and even your memory give vitality and energy to the Tea Party.

  54. Oh, I agree with him, but that agreement will give him no comfort.

The Tea Parties include people across the full American political spectrum, who agree on a narrow range of issues. If the Tea Parties accomplish their goal of setting this country’s financial house in order, that is, if they win really big, they will disperse, probably roughly along the lines of their original political affiliation, because they will either drop out or move on to other issues. They will not coalesce into a new, persistent party unless they remain unsatisfied with their representation after the next two or three elections.

Maybe the Tea Parties should declare a “fax your Congresscritters day.”

All you have to say is “The Tea Parties have a point,” and include your name and address, to confirm that you are a constituent.

Not email. Snail mail or Fax. So every person in every House and Senate office can count the letters, and those creepy union thugs can’t just rip a mailing list off a single computer file for harassment purposes.

  56. Harry Reid? You mean the war is lost Harry Reid? Okie dokie.

  57. Didn’t Elvis Presley, say the same thing about Rock&Roll? Get use to it Harry, you will be dust long before the Tea Party is over. It’s going to take awhile to clean up your mess.

  58. Keep whistling past the graveyard, Harry.

  59. Harry should go back to funeral directing

  60. What is over in 2012 isn’t the Tea Party. It’s over for the MSM in 2012. They made their bed with the DNC and Obama. We will throw them out as fast as Charlie Sheen does in the morning with his hookers.

Isn’t this the same crap the DNC was telling everyone that would listen in 2010. The Tea party was irrelevant, fringe, nuts, extremists, racists…. Giving the Tea Party the Palin treatment doesn’t seem to be doing any good. This is why, 2 party rule: Rinos and Dems needs to be over.

  61. I guess that would be a surprise to the 59 new members our small group has added in the last 2 months, without an active recruiting program.

  62. Totally agree #66 befuddled. . .

As long as there are people who oppose free-wheeling out of control government spending and debt and politicians who like to tax & spend willy nilly without listening to their elected constituants, there will always be a TEA party. . people who are Taxed Enough Already!

  63. I know a simple way to expand the rolls of TEA party activisists.. . .demand that the 45% or is it 51% of Americans who pay no income tax are mandated to pay some “fair share” in order to be allowed to vote. . even it is a minimum of $100. . .it would be funny to see the reaction of these freeloaders. . .

  64. Au Contraire, Harry. “The TEA Party is never going to go away. It is now simply the name for that group of people who are so patriotic that they would give up their coffee for the Constitution of the United States of America. There are people all over the world who would give way more than their coffee to get to be truly American, and by that I mean Constitutionally American.”
