In July 2010 Joe Biden admitted to Jake Tapper that the stimulus had failed.
He blamed Republicans.
Now he wants another one.
Joe Biden called for another stimulus today… Because the first one was such a great success.
Reuters reported:
U.S. Vice President Joe Biden said on Friday the U.S. economy needed more stimulus to get it moving, putting in a plug for government measures shortly before the White House unveils new proposals to boost job growth.
Concluding a trip to Asia that focused primarily on China, Biden also said a final decision had not been made on whether Washington would sell Lockheed Martin (LMT.N) F-16 fighter jets to Taiwan and noted Beijing knew America viewed its one-child policy as “abhorrent.”
Reacting to a leadership switch at the top of ratings agency Standard & Poor’s after it downgraded the United States, Biden said his “instinct” was that pressure from disgruntled businesses may have influenced the change, though he made clear that he did not know the agency’s internal workings.

Let’s see – a $1 tril stimulus? According to the 2010 census, there’s 114 million households. That’d be enough for a $8,500 check for each one. THAT would be a stimulus.
But this? IF it passes, it’ll get pissed away in little drips and drops. A union here, an advocacy group there – and pretty soon there’ll be nothing to show for it…

You know, I’ve been going about this all wrong.
My wife took our three credit cards and maxed them all out. Now the bills are piling up and we are perpetually short of cash. How could I have been so ignorant thinking I needed to earn more money in order to get out of debt, when all I really need to do is get another credit card with a larger credit limit and turn wife-y loose with it.

There’s only guy in Washington who’s a bigger economic illiterate than Biden, and that guy is on vacation.
Since Biden has been on the wrong side of almost every issue — he actually voted, and didn’t merely vote “present” — we can assume that further stimulus would be bad for the economy.
But it would be great for the parasites, who are still as gung-ho on their subprime blowhard as they were in 2008.

The Obamas’ summer break on Martha’s Vineyard has already been branded a PR disaster after the couple arrived four hours apart on separate government jets.
But according to new reports, this is the least of their extravagances. White House sources today claimed that the First Lady has spent $10million of U.S. taxpayers’ money on vacations alone in the past year…
The First Lady is believed to have taken 42 days of holiday in the past year, including a $375,000 break in Spain and a four-day ski trip to Vail, Colorado, where she spent $2,000 a night on a suite at the Sebastian hotel.
And the first family’s nine-day stay in Martha’s Vineyard is also proving costly, with rental of the Blue Heron Farm property alone costing an estimated $50,000 a week…

I propose a new currency for govt: O-dollars.
Unlimited O-dollars allows the adim to announce spending, on any hobby.
However, these O-dollars will have zero real dollars behind them.
No value at all past the progressive need to do SOMETHING, to spend other people’s money.
A purely political currency.
