New Tone: DNC Chair Wasserman Schultz Says GOP Seeks Dictatorship – Is Pushing Violence

The vile despicable DNC Chair lashed out at Republicans today. Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz told reporters that Republicans were seeking a dictatorship. She lashed out at conservative “extremists” who want to cut spending and reduce the historic Obama debt.
The Politico reported:
Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Fla.), chair of the Democratic National Committee, said Wednesday that House Republicans are trying to impose “dictatorship” through their tactics in the debt-ceiling negotiations. She said the GOP rhetoric could “spark panic and chaos,” which she called “potentially devastating” to the economy.
The chair telephoned POLITICO to express “significant disappointment in where … Republicans have allowed this debate to degenerate.”
“Aren’t we at the point where the closer we get to chaos, the more concern that there should be about coming to the table and compromising with Democrats?” Wasserman Schultz asked. “This is not leadership. This is almost like dictatorship. I know they want to force the outcome that … their extremists would like to impose. But they are getting ready to spark panic and chaos, and they seem to be OK with that. And it’s just really disappointing, and potentially devastating.”
Specifically, Wasserman Schultz cited a movie clip House Republican Whip Kevin McCarthy (Calif.) had played Tuesday during a closed-door meeting of the House Republican Conference. The brief clip was from “The Town,” and Republicans said it was intended to send the message that “we’re all in this together.”
The DNC chair said: “They start the day with trying to incite their caucus with, essentially, violent movie clips – pushing their people to inflict pain and hurt people.”
What a lovely person. No wonder she’s leading their leader.

Had we felt “Debbie Does Dictatorship” to have the mental capacity to engage in a meaningful discussion, we could ask her under what political science conception she is able to substantiate this claim. I’d suggest she has her political parties switched in her accusation, given a meaningful reading of Carl Schmitt’s Crisis of Parliamentary Democracy, for instance, would immediately help provide equivalence between actions like “I won. You lost. Deal with it” (as a rationale for cramming legislation down others throats in a parliamentary system), and the passage of health care that occurred with an overwhelming public opposition. In fact, the 2010 electoral mandate itself is the only justification the Republicans need to proclaim that the Senate and the President must accept their proposal, in the event of a deadlock.
As Debbie exemplifies, you just can’t find ethical, intelligent and mentally sound people who will buy this progressive garbage anymore. They’re either predators, paranoid or delusional nutjobs, or utter dullards.
