Iran Mocks US on Independence Day: America Is Not Independent

Iran Press TV mocked the US today on Independence Day and accused America of losing its independence to foreign powers and the Zionists.
Arutz Sheva reported:
Iran ”celebrates” Independence Day in the United States by saying the US has lost independence to foreign creditors and, of course, Israel.
PRESS TV, totally funded by the Islamic Republic and a mouthpiece for the Islamic regime, told its readers, “America is no longer the land of the free. It is now ruled by oligarchs and corporatists. And it is no longer governed by the rule of law. The rich, the powerful and the politically connected abide by their own, very different, set of laws.”
Choosing choice quotes from various websites, PRESS TV took a sentence from the Miami Herald that stated, “This year, as the nation celebrates Independence Day, the sputtering U.S. economy offers a stark reminder that today the U.S. is more dependent upon foreigners than ever before.”
“The United States needs them to finance its debt: China and Japan together hold more than $2 trillion of U.S. Treasury bonds. It needs them to supply much of the oil that’s critical to U.S. economy.”
American-Israeli ties were cited by the Iranians as more evidence that the United States no longer is independent, and the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) was noted for its “stranglehold on Congress.”

I guess Google agrees. Their banner for July 4th has no American Flag on it, but it does have a gay rainbow, uber-lib SF’s Golden Gare bridge, the Statue of Liberty, and US icons like a baseball, a horse with a cowboy hat, a barn, etc. – none of which have anything to do with celebrating our Independence from English tyrannical rule.
Iran might just be pointing out the obvious that we are no longer a nation free from the tyrant in the WH and his unconstitutional shadow regime czars.

Yes, any person who now falls under the jurisdiction of the US federal government is not free to exercise as many of their unalienable rights as say, a soldier leaving the Army just after our Civil War. However, we are still free to revoke the present tyrannous government and attempt to replace it with one that is more respectful of those rights. Moreover, we would do it in a peaceful manner after lengthy public debate and only with the concurrence of the States affected.
Having said that, even the very government officials in Iran dare not even suggest that their government must be restructured. People in Iran are being tortured at this very moment for even voicing their support for meaningful changes.
No, I’ll be staying here in the US and not moving to Iran, no matter how great you tell me it is. If it is so great, why does the US have so many Iranian ex-pats who don’t want to return?
