More Hope and Change… Desperate Mother Sells Letter From Obama to Pay Rent

Barack Obama promised Destiny Mathis that things would get better for her in a hand-written letter. They didn’t. Now she has to sell the letter to pay the rent.
Duped.
It’s an Obama world.
The Daily Mail reported:
Opening the handwritten letter from President Obama brought a glimmer of hope to her life as he promised her that things would get better for her and her family.
And despite the fact Destiny Mathis, from Hobart, Indiana, treasured the letter, more than two years later she has no choice but to sell it as she and her three children face eviction from their home.
The 26-year-old was an avid campaigner for Mr Obama in 2008, getting T-shirts made and encouraging people in her neighbourhood to vote.
Back then her life was tough but she had hope for her own future and the future of America.
She graduated top of her class in 2005 and was working as a surgical technician while also helping her mother, who was battling cancer at the time.
WHAT THE PRESIDENT SAIDDestiny,
Thanks for the moving letter, and the support. You have such a positive spirit – please know that things will get better for you and your family. You inspire me and I’m rooting for you!

She said: ‘I campaigned for him hard. I got the shirts made, the Barack the Vote shirts made. We’ve done a lot.’
It was about half way into the President’s term that things took a downward spiral for her.
Her third baby was born prematurely with health problems and with limited daycare options she could no longer work.
Her partner also left around this time.
With nowhere else to turn, she decided to write the President a letter.
She told the Huffington Post: ‘I wrote him just expressing my concern about what’s going to happen in the next two years. I know he’s under a lot of stress, but I need to see more results.’
She told him she was optimistic for change when she campaigned for him and that now she feels her future is bleak and unpromising. Despite this she also praised the President and his efforts.
She finishes by saying: ‘May God Bless you Mister President and your beautiful family. I also ask that GOD continues to bless your presidency and administration.’
To Ms Mathis’ surprise, she received a handwritten response from the President shortly after.
He told her that she had a ‘positive spirit’, that she inspired him and promised her that things would get better for her and her family.
It looks like Destiny got duped.

The lowest priced service I offer is $35, and I’ve received “payments” from Medicare for $1.20. The only lesson she learned is that more babies = more assistance, though I guess she also learned the lesson that if the baby’s father doesn’t marry her, it’s in both of their best interests. In a lot of these cases, the father is indeed in the picture, sometimes contributing, sometimes not, but often living under the same roof with the woman unofficially because her housing is subsidized where it wouldn’t be if they were married.
Dem policies created this, and before they will ever admit that it was flawed, they will double down on this again and again, growing the entitlement projects, increasing the bureaucracy.
They would bankrupt the government and every citizen in the US before admitting that their war on poverty was a failure or that this is money down a toilet.

Of course, once the lamestream media gets ahold of this story, somebody somewhere is going to pay for this girl’s house, pay for her kids’ college fund and even pay for her groceries and clothing like the bleeding heart he/she is. Of course, once she hears the comforting words of the Obamassiah, she’ll dry her tears, gather her strength and once again campaign for him again while dragging her poor kids with her for the ride. Just because someone had graduated at the top of her class doesn’t mean she had common sense. If she had, she would not have allowed herself to get knocked up by a guy or guys who didn’t care about her enough to marry her or at least stay around to help her raise the kids; and she would have already gone to college and graduated in whatever field she was studying, then got a job in her field, NOT being dependent on a man who has NO idea how economics work or how to govern a country.

What I bebieve is that she shouldn’t have not brought this issue to the media. It is sad to see that life is beating on this woman regardless of any mistake she may have made in her past even repeated mistakes yet the beat down continues as if many of us have never made a mistake and even repeated some of the same ones. What ever lessons this young lady needs to learn in life I hope she has and will continue to learn. I also hope and pray that God will bless her to move beyond this milestone in her life.
