Confirmed: Lying Liberal Media Cranks Completely Manufactured “Thatcher Snubbed Palin” Story

The far left Palin-hating cranks at The Guardian reported last week that aides to Margaret Thatcher told them, “Lady Thatcher will not be seeing Sarah Palin… That would be belittling for Margaret – Sarah Palin is nuts.”
We all knew this did not sound like something Lady Thatcher would say.
It looks like we were right.
This past weekend I posted a response from the Margaret Thatcher Foundation to these incredible accusations.
On Monday The Telegraph weighed in…
Nile Gardiner at The Telegraph reported:
I have spoken to Lady Thatcher’s Private Office regarding the story, and they confirm that the attack on Sarah Palin definitely did not come from her office, and in no way reflects her views. As a former aide to Margaret Thatcher myself, I can attest that this kind of thinking is entirely alien to her, and that such remarks would never be made by her office. She has always warmly welcomed like-minded figures in the United States, and has in the past met with numerous US presidential candidates and political dignitaries when they have visited London. But at the age of 85 she is now able to receive very few visitors at all.
There was never any snub of Sarah Palin by Lady Thatcher’s office. However, there has been a great deal of mischief-making and unpleasantness in a vain and futile attempt to use Margaret Thatcher’s name to smear a major US politician.

Its worse. The media acted like a corrupt executor that steals from the estate of an elderly woman who is helpless . This is the handy work of Ed Rollens and Michelle Bachmann is responsible. When your mother dies, Michelle is the kind of sibling who lifts the sterling silver flatware out of the house while everybody else is grieving at the Hospital. Turns out lady Thatcher is in good hands . She is still in the game .

Sarah Palin seems to be the single largest threat to Progressivism in existence. She just drives the liberals nuts! They can’t stop thinking about her or chasing her or trying to smear her. She embodies all that they are afraid of in a human being. I love it.

The collusion is nasty and chillingly pervasive. One media outlet SOMEWHERE, no matter how insignificant, prints a piece of crap then after a small waiting period, the other media outlets spread it, quoting it as “source.”

It isn’t Liberal to be discourteous. It isn’t Liberal to lie. Those around-the-bend liars and trouble-makers distinguish themselves from both Liberals and liberal ideals. They are the third-rate burglars of this generation.
I thought it really interesting one time, when some comment in a blog referenced Barbara Jordan, and Michelle Malkin shortly thereafter published an article about Barbara Jordan’s ideas about immigration. Oh, my. It turned out that Ms. Malkin and the woman who “sounded like the voice of God” had a lot in common.
There’s also the Euston Manifesto: http://eustonmanifesto.org/the-euston-manifesto/ a project that began with the invasion of Iraq, and is made up of unabashed Liberals who believe in human liberty. Granted, you could find a lot to argue about with them, and the volume would get high. But, their respect for the rights and responsibilities of individuals, and willingness to dig for facts should get some common ground on many important issues.
You have allies, if you’re willing to be aware of them, and they are all across the entire American political spectrum.
Be aware that you have allies in unexpected places.

Valerie, the problem is that the reasoning liberals of the type represented by Hubert Humphrey are no longer in power. I could disagree with Humphrey and still respect him. But today, leftists have taken over the Democrat Party. They are not reasonable, and they earn zero respect.
