Syrian Regime Burns, Tortures & Bloodies 13 Year-Old Protester, Then Kills Him (Video)

While the Obama Administration and NATO forces chase Moamar Gaddafi around Tripoli, the Syrian regime continues to slaughter the brave democracy protesters on the street.
This latest report is horrendous.
The Assad regime arrested a 13 year-old boy. They beat him, burned him, shot him in the knees and cut off his genitals. Then they murdered him.
Hamza Ali al-Khateeb was just a child.

The Washington Post reported:
The boy’s head was swollen, purple and disfigured. His body was a mess of welts, cigarette burns and wounds from bullets fired to injure, not kill. His kneecaps had been smashed, his neck broken, his jaw shattered and his penis cut off.
What finally killed him was not clear, but it appeared painfully, shockingly clear that he had suffered terribly during the month he spent in Syrian custody.
Hamza Ali al-Khateeb was 13 years old.
And since a video portraying the torture inflicted upon him was broadcast on the al-Jazeera television network Friday, he has rapidly emerged as the new symbol of the protest movement in Syria. His childish features have put a face to the largely faceless and leaderless opposition to President Bashar al-Assad’s regime that has roiled the country for nine weeks, reinvigorating a movement that had seemed in danger of drifting.
It is too early to tell whether the boy’s death will trigger the kind of critical mass that brought down the regimes in Egypt and Tunisia earlier this year and that the Syrian protests have lacked. But it would not be the first time that the suffering of an individual had motivated ordinary people who might not otherwise have taken to the streets to rise against their governments.
The Syrian regime openly supports Hamas and Hezbollah. The regime passes Iranian weapons to terrorist organizations. Syria threatens Israel. The regime hosts terrorist leaders.
Now the evil regime is killing its own people.
Maybe Obama will lecture them again.

By the way, did I read correctly, Al Qaeda is bulking up along the Sinai/Israeli border?
That’s probably for their Restoring Peace rally in August. Religion of peace, religion of peace, just keep telling yourselves that.

Typical Arab behavior…they are known for mutilating captured Israeli soldiers & cutting their genitals (sick perversion)…no surprise they turn on their own, as well. Syrians were gasssed to death in the last protest against the gov’t. They value death more than life.

YES, totally agree. Also, this is the problem with the extreme hatred that the muslims pride themselves on – it cannot be contained, but leaks out to splash on those it shouldn’t. The people occupying the Gaza strip are a perfect example. First they elect Hamas to rule them, and then Hamas goes around killing a few of the voters they’re not happy with. Evil really does eat it’s own; Sunni and Shia, Obama and left, etc.

More than lecturing other nations, Odrama Queen loves most to empower the Muslim Brotherhood illegal aliens and radical revolutionaries and terrorists among them – who will make the murderers of the 13 yr old boy seem like a choir boy in comparison.
Like the ones who whip young girls his age to death because they were raped, by men who extract a small cash “fine” from the men who raped, brutalized, tortured and mutilated her.

But it’s also confusing.
What secrets could a 13-year-old have known, to require torture (an aside: Please note, dear Liberals, THIS was genuine torture; waterboarding may be unpleasant and even terrifying, but is NOT torture) to extract the information from him? Or else, what could a 13-y/o kid have DONE, to deserve this as punishment?
The answer must be that this wasn’t due to what the child knew or did; this atrocity was done in order to send someone ELSE a message. There’s some other part to this story.

The fall of Syria would mean that the cowards i hezbollah would find it harder to get weapons and Israel will be safer. Obama doesn’t want that.
