Stunned and angry Pakistanis today rallied for dead Osama Bin Laden.

Congrats to our brave Navy Seals that executed this operation with precision and determination and all those brave men and women who had a part in this operation.
And let’s give President Obama credit for following the plan that President George Bush and his team laid out and initiated. It is good that Obama followed Bush’s lead.
Would have been nice to hear a REAL American-loving President say,
“Let this be a lesson to those who hurt and terrorize Americans, you can run & you can hide, but in time, we will get you and you will loose!!”

caveat: I am a small government conservative that would rather vote for Mr. Ed than Obama. That said I think there are only 3 options:
1) OBL is still alive and this is all a hoax. In that case there is no better way to humiliate the US than for OBL to have a nice chat about this non-demise in full detail. Since this is like Babe Ruth batting against Paris Hilton it is fairly safe to assume he’s dead. So the question becomes: how and when did he die?
2) It happened a while ago and Obama “saved” the news for political reasons. Well, it did interrupt “Celebrity Apprentice” so you can view the release now as political opportunism. But, if this is the case then Obama is a bigger idiot than I thought. Trump, while more acceptable than Mr. Ed in that (a) he is alive and (b) he is human, really has no chance of winning. Imagine standing in a bank and the bank president offering you as much money as can carry. And, drum roll: you choose a roll of pennies.
3) That leaves last night. Someone killed him last night. The US? Pakistanis? Mr. Ed? Who really cares.
It is a fairly safe bet that OBL was killed last night. The real questions are:
1) Why did we not inform the Pakistani government we were stopping by to pay our last respects to OBL? They either didn’t know we were coming or we gave them plausible deniability. The former is a big problem since it indicates we’re not buddy-buddy. But, I’m guessing it is the latter since it clearly would have created problems for Pakistan with a non-trivial percentage of the population. If I am correct we get a good amount of “you owe me’s” from the current government. OBL is dead; Pakistan has nothing to take back. But the US can “leak” it was Pakistan and they need a fan the size of Pluto to handle the amount of the $h!t headed it’s way..
2) Why now? It’s not like he was living in a cave – so why now? And while in the general area the Pakistanis, or at least some of those not in the tribal regions, had to know he was there. He was 6’7” with a face everyone on the planet knew living across from a police station, a military college, and within commuting distance of the capitol. This is like a 7’ Lady Gaga living, unbeknownst to millions of people, in Arlington, VA. I’m guessing this has to do with (1). The fact it happened during “Celebrity Apprentice” was just one really big gotcha moment for Obama.
3) What happens next? It’s not like Hitler where once he was dead the movement was effectively over. It’s not like Afghanistan became safer. It’s not like 100% of Pakistan are happy about this. I think this is the only real question, and the one we should all focus on rather than looking endlessly at this generations Zapruder Film.

Did you ever think it was possible we had him all along, possibly for months, getting information out of him. If we had him we wouldn’t broadcast it because the intel would be tainted when his drones knew he’d been compromised…. Not to mention, the circus that would’ve ensued if the public knew he had been captured…. It is possible we had him for months and neither side was willing to admit it. Then, at the right time, after we had gotten all the intel out of him and he could be used to boost our president’s sagging ratings and his incompetent military persona. We stage a shootout where no Americans get hurt and the bad guy is conveniently buried at sea without questioning or evidence.
