Barack Obama told AIPAC 2011 attendees today that the Palestinian state must be “contiguous”…
In other words he wants Israel cut in half.
Brilliant! That oughta work.
Barack Obama tells AIPAC:
“I said that the United States believes that negotiations should result in two states, with permanent Palestinian borders with Israel, Jordan, and Egypt, and permanent Israeli borders with Palestine. The borders of Israel and Palestine should be based on the 1967 lines with mutually agreed swaps, so that secure and recognized borders are established for both states. The Palestinian people must have the right to govern themselves, and reach their potential, in a sovereign and contiguous state.”
He wants to connect Gaza to the West Bank.
One contiguous state.

There is truly simple solution to the declaration of a palestinian state. Israel should immediately cut off all water, gas and electricity to the arabs and the jewish settlers of the west bank should unilaterally declare themselves to be a palestinian state, fashion a flag showing a menorah and then vote to change the name of the state to “Judea.”
After all, under the british administered palestine mandate the jews at that time all carried palestinian passports. The jews fighting with the brits during WWII were known as the palestinian brigade.

I think there are two options for Israel. One is to leave the border of West Bank and Jordan, make West Bank part of Jordan, Make Gaza Palestine.
Second choice is to take back Gaza and/or West bank. If they take back Gaza, then let Jordan have West Bank, they can do what they want with the West Bank, or Israel can just take back West Bank also.

I have a better idea: go back to the old policy of accelerating the settlements in Gaza so the terrorists lose a bit of land every time they attack Israel. Let’s connect Gaza to the West Bank and the Golan Heights and let the Jews take the sandlands in the south where they have rightful heritage and mastery. Either that, or I’m sure the Assyrians would house them once again.

Apparently @38 Mulititude went to a public school for history. Israel CURRENTLY resides on the land previously called Judea, previously called Judah, previously called Canaan. It includes everything west of the river, including the so-called West Bank. They’ve been there for thousands of years. It’s theirs.

Since decades ago the military has practiced for the USSR sweeping down into the Middle East to take the oil fields. The US and allies would then immediately sweep in to defend.
I suggest we do that (Russia/Ukraine and the US) and then wipe out all the towelheads and divy up the oil between us. It would take care of two issues: getting the oil money out of terrorists’ hands; wiping out a nest of Devil worshippers.

Lets see how AIPAC reacts to Netanahu when he speaks tomorrow. Obama once again bussed in his loyal subjects to get a good reception. If we are going to win this thing in 17 months we are going to need to stay positive. I would not trust any polls which tell us how popular Obama is or that the Jews agree with him on Israel. Jewish voters are feeling uncomfortable about their place in the USA right now and whatever they do they are not going to tell pollsters. I would watch Jewish celebrities like Streisand and Spielberg. They have given tons of money to Obama. Spielberg has the Shoah group and has close ties to Israel. We might not hear what the average voter is going to do but we will see how celebrities handle this. Also, don’t get nervous when Netanahu says he’s committed to peace and working with Obama. We know what his bottom line is.

I suspect the same thing thing. I think Obama threatened Netanyahu with that during their private meeting before the astounding joint press appearance, and was expecting Netanyahu to agree to support this latest initiative in exchange.
That would explain Obama’s quiet (shocked?) rage during that press appearance- Netanyahu had realized he would not dissuade Obama, and made a full public rejection, perhaps at that very moment. We might have witnessed the actual moment of Netanyahu’s response.
This means, of course, that Israel is now preparing to stand against the UN, the world community, and Obama. Obama has made his choice.
