Far left Agenda Project founder Erica Payne defended her group’s latest GOP-bashing ad showing grandma getting thrown off a cliff. She said it was a moral issue to keep spending money we don’t have.
Apparently, to the far left, it’s not a moral issue to leave your children with massive debt they can’t possibly pay off. It’s only a moral issue when government talks about cutting spending – never mind the fact that Obama added nearly a trillion dollars to the national budget in three years. Remember when dealing with the left, there is always a selfish motive behind their words.

Obama is the one who told someone that maybe his/her elderly mother should not have gotten the pacemaker that had already given her several more happy years of life, because she was old, you see, and somebody should have told her it might be better just to “take a pain pill.”
Obama’s callous response was quite revealing. But the Dems would excuse him even if he shoved his own grandmother off a cliff.

i’m on medicare and my insurance plan was changed this year. this years plan has reduced coverage and more decisions on my medical treatment are being made by the insurance company instead of my doctor. the reason obamacare. what the democrats are counting on is that most americans will never know about the reductions unless they need to see a doctor. does anyone know how i can apply for one of those waivers?

I can’t believe there are seniors who cannot see that the Democrats have ALREADY killed Medicare. They’ve cut Medicare’s budget by over $500 billion; they’ve spent billions and run up debt that threatens to destroy our country; and they’ve lied about the cost of Obamacare. They’ve created the Death Panels by establishing the IPAB who will operate just like the NICE does in England. They’ve appointed Berwick as the Head of Medicare during a Congressional recess.
I’m on Medicare and it makes me so mad when people say that I shouldn’t complain about Obamacare because I’m already covered by socialist medicine. Personally, I hate Medicare BUT DO I HAVE THE FREEDOM to choose not to take it? If I don’t take Medicare, I’m not eligible for Social Security. Just remember — the Democrat/Socialist’s long term goal is to have a single payer system where the government in effect determines who lives and who dies. The Democrats DO NOT CARE about seniors or poor people — they care only about power. I prefer to have the freedom to be responsible for my own healthcare — I support Paul Ryan’s plan and pray it gets passed.

I appreciate your passion, but it is always more respectful to stay on target – or at least reference the issue first, before offering your own insight on a different topic.
Besides, your offering seems intent on a jump first to see the Republicans at the worst, it mimics fashionable concepts which aren’t really based on the actual reality. I guarantee a number of the Republicans in the Senate know full well Medicare needs reform. I also imagine they are savvy enough to consider the Ryan offering in an objective manner. Yes, there are those like McCain who will enable the worst, but the majority are not as bad as the fashion suggests.
In regards to Mr. Hoft’s fine post, what can one expect?
Democratic Partisans are such awful failures, terribly incompetent, pushing disastrous policies, they have nothing else to offer except to try to sell hatred, bigotry, fraud, divisions. Exploiting the Elderly? No problem for the unethical likes of Pelosi, Reid, Schumer, Boxer, Waters, Clinton, Gore, etc.
Recently I was shown an email send out by Menendez, the liar who sits in the NJ Senate Seat, who claimed he was voting for the removal of tax incentives for Oil Companies for he so concerned about the high cost of gas. What a joke. This is the same crook who wanted to raise taxation on gas, was pushing cap and trade insanity, refuses to let the oil companies drill, even knows full well that advertised sophistry in the Senate was not going to do anything but raise gas prices.
No, the Democratic Party has grown so insane, it is so lost in personal partisan greed, it cares little if it destroys all. They simply cannot be this stupid, no one could really be this dumb.
Pushing Elderly Americans off a cliff? That is what the Democrats have been doing for years, for their own pathetic gain.

i don’t know about tossing granny off a cliff but you have to admit a lot of obama’s policies aren’t granny friendly. all the basics of life will be out of granny’s reach. when barack is sitting in the oval office with the heat cranked granny is sitting in a warming center. when barack is sitting in a well lit room granny is sitting in a cold dark room. all the newly unemployed are draining some of the same programs granny depended on. at $4 a gallon for heating oil, granny is in trouble and i think the increased need for oil affected joe kennedy’s citizens oil [which makes me wonder if they were able to pay him his 6 figure income]. and then there’s the cost of food and the increased run on food pantries.

The solution is not to cut back Medicare, the solution is to expand it, open enrollment for everyone who wants it. The fatal flaw with Medicare is that everyone who receives benefits is either elderly or already ill, the benefits paid out to those 2 groups of people are the highest benefits that insurance pays out. There are no younger, healthier people in the system. If you widen the eligibility pool you widen the risk pool.
More money would go into Medicare (the premiums paid by the new subscribers) but the cost per member would decrease (because you would have millions of younger, healthier people using the system). Get rid of the Federal Employee Health Plans and put Federal workers into Medicare (including Congressman). Allow the individual states to enroll their workers into the program too. In fact, you could probably get rid of Medicaid and put those people into the new Medicare program and save billions every year in administrative costs if nothing more.
