Why is this far left jerk allowed on FOX News Sunday week after week? Why then not Michael Moore? Juan Williams is wrong on issue after issue and allowed to spew his far left talking points ad nauseum. Why is this allowed?
Today Juan Williams said the US tortures people and “pulls teeth and eyeballs” of terror detainees.
Juan Williams:
“Let me finish this point. So what if we got some information by means of torturing people. As President Obama and we heard this morning from Tom Donilon, it’s not in our values to pull out people’s teeth and eyeballs and secondly, you know, we could get that information in other ways.”

This points out a major difference between waterboarding and ACTUAL torture techniques.
You can only cut off a guys finger ten times before he runs out. If all you do is scare em’, you can ask him questions indefinitely.
Once you inflict enough physical damage to the human body, your efforts may be counter productive, as the torture subject may give up on living. Once he no longer has anything of value (his own body), there is no reason to answer questions anymore.
Waterboarding, even when the subject knows he is in no danger, leaves the person fully intact with his sense of self. He still values life and limb as much as he ever did. He still has something to live for.

Perhaps this was only an example of his misspeaking. But Juan cannot be forgiven for misrepresenting the facts by calling our EITs as “torture”. Waterboarding is not torture. That is why we do it. We waterboard our own troops to prep them for the battlefield, and we certainly do not torture our own troops.
Juan Williams, however, can be accused of torturing the viewers of Fox News for his blatant mischaracterizations of the facts. We do not torture. We do not pull out eyeballs and teeth. We did not murder OBL.
Juan Williams is supposed to be a journalist. These matters should be important to him in his profession.
