DNC Leaders to GOP: Shut Up and Let Obama Hand Holy Land to Hamas-Fatah Alliance

Last week Barack Obama proposed handing over half of Jerusalem, the Wailing Wall, The Temple Mount, Old Jerusalem, and the tomb of Jesus Christ to the Hamas-Fatah terrorist alliance.
Of course, this radical position is very unpopular with a most Americans.
Sadly, the Democrats are not backing down. DNC leaders this week demanded that delegates of the Republican Jewish Coalition (RJC) shut up and allow Obama to hand over the Holy Land to the Hamas-Fatah Alliance.
The Weekly Standard reported, via Ace:
Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu yesterday met with representative delegates of the Republican Jewish Coalition (RJC) and the National Jewish Democratic Council (NJDC). But while the meeting was meant to shore up bipartisan support for Israel from American Jewish political organizations, it quickly became a partisan bickering match, with the chairman of the Democratic National Committee (DNC), Debbie Wasserman Schultz, using the platform to tell Republican Jews to stop doing what they’re doing.
The RJC used their opening remarks to say that now was a historical time for the future of the Middle East, and to thank Prime Minister Netanyahu for meeting with them. But while the NJDC’s chairman said essentially the same thing, he was followed by hyper-partisan comments, first from Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee chair Steve Israel and then from the DNC chair, Wasserman Schultz.
Sitting in front of Netanyahu, the DNC chair asked the RJC to “pledge to refrain in 2012 from using Israel as part of the issues in campaigns,” according to RJC executive director Matt Brooks. “It started that way. Right from the get go they just jumped on it.”
“They decided to hijack these meeting in order to, in front of the prime minister, put a gag order in effect to prevent us from speaking out on Israel,” Brooks says.
It is highly unusual for a sitting DNC chair to try to use a foreign prime minister to pressure another political group to act in a way that she deems appropriate. But this seems to have been what happened yesterday.
Asked about Netanyahu’s reaction, Brooks said Netanyahu was “clearly uncomfortable and at one point said, ‘do you guys want me to leave the room and give you guys some privacy?’”

Boehner has shown an unwillingness to use the one effective weapon in his arsenal that can be used to shut this progressive assault down – DEFUNDING. Obama’s political isolation on this issue, and the haste with which liberal Democrats like Nancy Pelosi left the embattled President to take the heat alone, testify to the pervasive sense in American politics that Israel is an American value. What helps Israel immeasurably is the contrast: Israel stands on one hand as a civilized nation whose values and ideals are largely those of the USA; on the other hand are to be found countries, surrounding Israel, driven by a blood lust cult whose only love is that of death, esp. death of Jews.

Hate who you are all you like but don’t let that have an impact on the laws you make or the policies you implement. This same D W-S also said that Republicans were “anti-woman,” whatever that means. She also said that we were willing to let foreign auto makers take over the auto industry here in the US. Of course some enterprising reporter discovered that she drives a Japanese car. Sorry, W-S, if you were honest about the situation, Republicans were against a bailout of these auto makers as a way of going around established bankruptcy laws. Truth, be told!! I cannot wrap my mind around the sickness that would cause the jewish people, who are loved so much by the Creator of the universe, to side with, support, and stand behind those that want to destroy them. I know my frustration is nothing compared to the I AM’s.

On the O’Reilly show yesterday, the lady who analyzes peoples’ body language took at look at Obama’s and Netanyahu’s body language and she said that they DO NOT like each other. She said Obama has contempt for Netanyahu, and they are not friends like Obama had said.

Actually, I think what this shows is despite their other public comments to the contrary, Wasserman Schultz and other Dem leaders are really worried that Obama has finally gone far enough against Israel for it to start having an impact among Jewish voters in 2012. Not all, of course, and maybe not even a majority, but enough to possibly put a state like New Jersey into play for the eventual Republican nominee, or make a state like Florida impossible for Obama to capture.
That would explain the desperate attempt to try and get Bibi on Obama’s side (or at least to stay neutral) and to try and make Israel off-limits to Jewish Republicans as a 2012 campaign issue. She knows it has the potential to hurt and fears that Team Obama doesn’t have the self control not to come up with a few more gaffes over the next 17 months to further alienate Jewish voters.

If it’s something that normal groups or people wouldn’t try in order to achieve their goals, then count on the Democrats to give it a try.
