White House Security adviser Tom Donilon did backflips defending Barack Obama’s illogical security policies.

Donilon told Chris Wallace on FOX News Sunday that waterboarding Khalid Sheikh Mohammad was against our American values but couldn’t quite explain how that fits in with shooting Osama in the eye.

  1. Question: Does this administration have anybody that is competent? NOPE.

  2. Hamana, hamana, hamana.

  3. What did he say?? I’m confused. We can shoot someone in the head, but we cannot use
techniques developed by experts, to get information from a terriorst. My goodness I am
glad that this present generation of cowards, did not lead us in WW #2.

Iraqi al-Qaeda leader killed in jail fight

[The most senior member of al-Qaeda in Iraq has been shot dead during
clashes between officers and prisoners inside a jail in Baghdad, officials
    say.

Abu Huzaifa Al Batawi, the leader of the Islamic state of Iraq - the most
powerful al-Qaeda faction in the country - was killed along with up to 15
others after detainees tried to overpower their guards on Sunday.]

    ==

  5. So, now we start shooting first then ask questions! “Ow! You shot me in my pinky toe!” – “Tell me where al-Zawhari is!” – “Ow! You shot me in my other pinky toe!” – “Tell me…” repeat until we have the information we need. I’m ALL for it!

  6. Translation:

We can shoot a baaaaad guy in the noggin if it boosts the zer0 poll numbers.

  7. The logical hoops these dimwits jump through boggles the mind – a reasoned mind, or the mind of anyone older than 7.

  8. O: Tell us what we want to know…

Terrorist: I will tell you nothing you can’t water board me any more there are laws against that…

O: Tell me what we want to know…

    T: you suck goat dick.

O: Shoot him in the eye…

  9. Harumph,,,,Harumph,,,,,Harumph!!!!! I didn’t get a harumph outta that guy!!!!!

  10. This just proves that we indeed gave ‘foreign aid’ to Bin Laden!!!!!!!!

Our Navy Seals ‘aided’ a ‘foreign’ object to the noggin of UBL!!!!

    _______

They are all pretty darn good at destroying the economy.

  12. Fact: Obummer’s “Department of Just Us” is STILL going after the CIA interrogators who got the information out of three ruthless killers via LEGAL means. That information lead us to UBL’s squalid lair and subsequently to Obummer’s chest pounding. Again, it’s all about THE O.

Fact: A heroic Navy SEAL captured a terrorist and in the process slapped him in the face and gave him a fat lip. Obummer is prosecuting him! How then can our heroic Navy SEALs who terminated UBL sleep at night knowing that at any time they could face the same fate as the CIA interrogators and the other Navy SEAL? If the political winds shift away from the adolescent chest thumper in the White House, they may face the same fate. Just let the ACLU lawyers have some time to get their boots on.

Some on the LEFT are already calling this act illegal and immoral. (Michael Moore et al) They won’t be satisfied until they have the scalps of our beloved and honored SEALs hanging from their belts. Meantime, Obummer will be at the links or shooting hoops or watching sports on TV, or hosting a major party at our White House, or vacationing in some exotic spot at our enormous expense. yadda, yadda, yadda.
I fear for our military and our country with this tiny man child as CIC. It’s all about THE O.

  13. As we watch this administration massage and now mangle the story beyond survivable contortions, it seems increasingly clear that they themselves are entirely uncomfortable with it.

The only explanation that makes sense is that Obama and friends were dragged into going along with the mission, once the military and intelligence services had located Bin Laden and prepared for taking him out. Obama is so indecisive that he kept delaying a decision, rather than abort it, while the military, eager to complete the mission, kept going ahead with their plans and rehearsals.

If you look closely at the released photo of the President and his security staff watching the monitor, his facial expression is dramatically different from anyone else there. He looks irritated (because his golf game was interrupted perhaps?), and he certainly does not look happy to be there. In fact, sitting hunched down off to one side of the main table, his posture, presence and contribution in that assembly looks very small.

Let us be thankful for all things- a small bit of justice was served, and the general disgust this incompetent (or traitorous) administration is provoking will help usher in a much stronger government in the next term, which America will need to answer the coming onslaught which is also surely coming.

    Best regards, Peter Warner.

  14. What a hilarious show. These people are being forced to defend the very sort of action that they spent the last presidential term protesting. From the wiretapping and eavesdropping, the waterboarding and “enhanced interrogation,” the launching bases in Afghanistan that would have been closed under their timetable, the cross-border incursion, to the shooting in the head of an unarmed man, not to mention the very notion of a “War On Terror” that is once again in fashion.

Nitwits and political hacks the lot of them.

  15. Liberalism, at best, IS. A. MENTAL. DISORDER.

  16. It is the whining and crying of the Left that leads to the necessity of increased surveillance and inhumane searches at airports. If it were known that terrorist attacks would ‘bring great devastation to the islamic world’ (an islamic concept that they would understand) then the attacks would cease or certainly greatly diminish.

Since we have had such protest and sympathizing from the Western Left, the moslems know that there will only be a limited retribution for atrocities. Therefore, it is in their interest to remain passive, or even hold massive rallies on Friday afternoons celebrating jihad.

Similarly, a nation such as Pakistan and people as the so-called Palestinians know that they can play both sides against the middle and still receive massive amounts of aid and weapons which they can use a certain portion to advance their interests against ours.

  17. If you look closely at the released photo of the President and his security staff watching the monitor, his facial expression is dramatically different from anyone else there. He looks irritated (because his golf game was interrupted perhaps?), and he certainly does not look happy to be there.

BINGO! Absolutely SPOT ON observation Peter.

  18. It was real consistent with our values to kill Bin Kaden I’n front if his kids. Great way to make new terrorists. DUH.

  19. In fact, you can take Obama’s hypocrisy much further. According to Obama, it’s ok to drop bombs on a house just suspected of having a terrorist. It’s fine that his wife and children are killed or maimed. Indeed, you may not even have the right house and totally innocent people can be killed or maimed. But by no means can you water board somebody. If I had to chose between being bombed, shot or waterboarded, I think I’d take the water boarding.

  20. The great commincators WH minions at it again, it’s ok to kill a terrorist by bustin’ a cap in his head, but its not ok to waterboard a terrorist to get intel that tells where that same “dead” terrorist was domiciled.

Further more, we have a war on terror (sorry, overseas contingency operation) against Bin Laden, but not against KSM.

I must say, simple questions from Chris Wallace caused Tom Donilon to seize up like a drum. Of course had he been on ABC, CNN, CBS, NBC or MSLSD there would ahve been no follow up questioning.

So the end all be all answer from the Obama WH is, if Obama did it and it raises his poll numbers, its good … if GWB and Cheney did it no matter what benefit comes from it, it is evil.

  21. IF. and I say IF, we make it to 2012, we should all fall down on our knees and thank the LORD.

  22. Thank you, Jesus, for giving us Sunday morning for church and perfect reason for avoiding Sunday morning talk shows who fill time with the opinions of these effete pukes.

  23. We knew how to deal with Mohammedan terrorists once.

‘HOW TO STOP ISLAMIC TERRORISTS . . . it worked once in our History

Once in US history an episode of Islamic terrorism was very quickly stopped. It happened in the Philippines about 1911, when Gen. John J. Pershing was in command of the garrison. There had been numerous Islamic terrorist attacks, so “Black Jack” told his boys to catch the perps and teach them a lesson.

Forced to dig their own graves, the terrorists were all tied to posts, execution style. The US soldiers then brought in pigs and slaughtered them, rubbing their bullets in the blood and fat. Thus, the terrorists were terrorized; they saw that they would be contaminated with hogs’ blood. This would mean that they could not enter Heaven, even if they died as terrorist martyrs.

All but one was shot, their bodies dumped into the grave, and the hog guts dumped atop the bodies. The lone survivor was allowed to escape back to the terrorist camp and tell his brethren what happened to the others. This brought a stop to terrorism in the Philippines for the next 50 years.

Pointing a gun into the face of Islamic terrorists won’t make them flinch. They welcome the chance to die for Allah. Like Gen. Pershing, we must show them that they won’t get to Muslim heaven (which they believe has an endless supply of virgins) but instead will die with the hated pigs of the devil.’

  24. How did something as timid as waterboarding become “torture?”

  25. It’s a good thing that the SEALs only shot the monster in the eye. If they had taken the time to waterboard him they would be in real legal trouble.

  26. I love how officials in this administration say minutes of nothing and end with “we have made our views known”.

The regime across the board is quite competent at destroying our security, freedom and the Constitution.

In terms of “foreign policy”, if you can call it that, the apparatchiks, like Donilon, Brenner and especially the notorious Samantha Power, are tearing what good was put in place and replacing it with extraordinarily dangerous, ideology-bound “policy” that supports the enemy and the expense of our allies.

If a truly serious conservative candidate to represent the GOP on ALL issues, one who can articulate a forthright opposition to Emperor Barry Hussein, does not emerge (and, so far, there is no one), I fear tremendously for our future. The 2012 elections, if we indeed have them altogether, will be our last.

    ____________
Indeed! The great Ollie North was on Hannity last week, and he spoke of how he and others in the US military undergo waterboarding as a matter of training. The method isn’t exactly “timid”, but it is an effective part of breaking “tough customers”. So how could it consider it “torture”?

  29. Ever one of those “SEAL” has been Waterboard,it part of their training.

  30. Japanese in war world 2# during waterboarding they would force the person to swallow Salt water, then when their stomach swell up they would jump on their stomach. This was count as a war crime. We never used salt water. It is used very heavily in Training the way we used it ,it NOT torture.

  31. Hey looka over here. A birth certificate. Donald Trump is a chump.

  32. Anyone watch G.I. Jane? 1997 or so? They water board Demi Moore in that movie. I do not remember anyone screaming about it then. Hell they even mention blowing up the trade center and blaming it on muslims.

  33. TEN BUCKS TO ANYONE WHO CAN SITE ONE SINGLE SOLITARY THING ABOUT THIS LYING JACKASS SC*MB*G DONILON THAT QUALIFIES HIM TO BE NATIONAL SECURITY ADVISER.

    JUST ONE THING.

  34. Hey reliapundit, I want my ten dollars!

According to his bio at Wikipedia:

“He worked as Executive Vice President for Law and Policy at Fannie Mae, the federally-chartered mortgage finance company, as a registered lobbyist from 1999 through 2005″

Ah! What more qualifications do you need to work — in ANY capacity for Obama — than to have that line in your resume?

I’m surprised Obama didn’t kick biden out and make Donilon VP by fiat, knowing that particular history. Do you have any idea just how much ($ahem$) this man has done for Obama?

  35. What I love is the habit of libs, when defending something undefensible, they end the ‘conversation’ with this phrase: “And I believe that this administration has been very clear about” (whatever the person is attempting to obfuscate).

The good thing that can be gleaned from this, is the fact that liberals can, in fact, be trained.

  36. Wallace, and everyone else that have been asking questions of this administration, have completely missed the most important one. Maybe someone reading this can relay it to someone that will have an opportunity to ask.

Why did we NOT catch Bin Laden and subject him to intense questioning?

This administration just destroyed their best opportunity to completely unravel bin laden’s entire organization. Telling us how much important information they have gleamed from his compute pales in comparison to what they could have learned from bin laden.

I’ve noticed that too, Freddy. That seems to be the “elephant in the living room” here.

Rather, one of the bigger ones, of the sizable group of elephants in here.

  38. Saw that a bit ago – what a major fail! Dims are jerks – that is all they do! Lowest rung on the Ladder.

Dead men tell no tales, about Zero’s travels in Pakistan..

‘”You do that in eighty countries,” Obama said, “You don’t know those eighty countries. So when I speak about having lived in Indonesia for four years, having family that is impoverished in small villages in Africa –knowing the leaders is not important — what I know is the people…I traveled to Pakistan when I was in college — I knew what Sunni and Shia was [sic] before I joined the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.”

This last part — a college trip to Pakistan — was news to many of us who have been following the race closely. And it was odd that we hadn’t hear about it before, given all the talk of Pakistan during this campaign.

So I asked the Obama campaign for more information.

Apparently, according to the Obama campaign, In 1981 — the year Obama transferred from Occidental College to Columbia University — Obama visited his mother and sister Maya in Indonesia. After that visit, Obama traveled to Pakistan with a friend from college whose family was from there. The Obama campaign says Obama was in Pakistan for about three weeks, staying with his friend’s family in Karachi and also visiting Hyderabad in Southern India.’

so OBL was shot not waterboarded.. /s

‘Although his campaign manager did discuss it when pressed:

As a freshman, he quickly became friends with Mohammed Hasan Chandoo and Wahid Hamid, two wealthy Pakistanis
In 1981, Obama transferred from Occidental to Columbia. In between, he traveled to Pakistan – a trip that enhanced his foreign policy qualifications, he maintained in a private speech at a San Francisco fundraiser last month. Obama spent “about three weeks” in Pakistan, traveling with Hamid and staying in Karachi with Chandoo’s family, said Bill Burton, Obama’s press secretary.

The Chandoo he was referring to is Mohammed Hassan Chandoo which this website claims is now a major campaign bundler for Obama:

    Bundler: Hasan Chandoo

    Employer:
    Oppenheimer & Co
    State:
    NY
    Bundler Status for 2008:
Bundler for Barack Obama, raised at least $100,000.00 ‘

With Zero the plot always thickens.
