Bush wises up.
President Obama was wrong on waterboarding, renditions, the Iraq War, the Surge, Gitmo, military tribunals, and the Patriot Act. Now he wants to take full credit for getting Osama Bin Laden and wants to use George W. Bush as a prop.
Bush ain’t going for it.

The former president feels Obama is ignoring the Bush Administration’s role in the strike on the Osama Bin Laden compound. He won’t be a prop for Obama at Ground Zero today.
The New York Daily News reported:
George W. Bush won’t be at Ground Zero with President Obama Thursday in part because he feels his team is getting short shrift in the decade-long manhunt for Osama Bin Laden.
“[Bush] viewed this as an Obama victory lap,” a highly-placed source told the Daily News Wednesday.
Bush’s visit to the rubble after the 9/11 attacks was the emotional high point of his presidency, but associates say the invitation to return with his successor was a non-starter.
“He doesn’t feel personally snubbed and appreciates the invitation, but Obama’s claiming all the credit and a lot of other people deserve some of it,” the source added.
“Obama gave no credit whatsoever to the intelligence infrastructure the Bush administration set up that is being hailed from the left and right as setting in motion the operation that got Bin Laden. It rubbed Bush the wrong way.”
Bush spokesman David Sherzer said Bush “appreciated the invite, but has chosen in his post-presidency to remain largely out of the spotlight.”
Associates familiar with his thinking say Bush does not believe Obama or his handlers wanted to exploit his presence. But the tag-team idea “was for the benefit of Obama, and Obama withheld credit from people Bush believes deserved it,” a source said.
Good for Bush.

I’m sorry. The fact that President George Bush will not be at Ground Zero today is a couple of days old. Bush gave a valid, perfectly gracious response to Obama’s “invitation.” It sounds to me, quite frankly, like the “unnamed highly placed source” is within the Obama administration, trying to make it sound like Bush has a good case of sour grapes because “Obama got him and Bush didn’t.”

Another piece of evidence a ” soft mutany ” is taking place where Obama is being blown off at every level because of his fraudness. Look at how Reuters blew off Obama’s efforts to yank the pictures of OBL. Seems like Leon Panetta and Genl. Patraeus are now the ones running this country . This could get dangerously close to a military junta style government if we are not vigilant.

It is — or would be, were it not for my knowledge of scripture and of history — incredibly surreal, the situation we have with our President right now.
It sure is unprecedented. Bill Clinton’s presidential demeanor, attitudes, and actions seem positively Founding Father-ish and stolid when compared to those of Obama. You must remember: Clinton was seen, rightly so at the time, given history, as a buffoon and a hillbilly joke of a president, as a thug southern-Democrat-style political wind-sniffer, among many other negative things, by Conservatives.
If Clinton was a joke, then Obama is an entire collection, hours worth, of Hollywood roasts.

This is an excellent video, just minimize it to listen and surf the net – it is well worth the time. Obama has been using another man’s social security number from Connecticut right up until 2008. Obama’s father was 1/8 black and 7/8 Arab, so he isn’t even the first black American President – he is the first Arab American President.

The White House invited 50 9-11 family members to join him today. The invitiation was sent via e-mail and was NOT addressed to the person, but to “Dear 9-11 Family Member”. It was sent bulk mail, not personalized to the people who lost family on that horrible day.

Bush was very wise to stay home. Most of the optics were of NYC traffic and cut-aways to the general ground zero area. Lots of pics of Obama glad-handing and now saying we will never forget … Glad he managed to finally remember after so many years not bothering to show up.

Inviting Bush to attend the ceremony was an olive branch that President Obama had no obligation to extend. Good for him and good for our country.
