Breaking: 1500 Still Missing In Joplin, Missouri – More Tornadoes on the Way

BREAKING NEWS: Rescue workers reportedly found an 8 year-old boy this afternoon in the Joplin wreckage. He was airlifted to Kansas City. The local officials said he had shingles from his roof wedged in his abdomen and a bad cut on the back of his head. His mother and sister did not make it. FOX News radio reported this earlier. (Unfortunately, there has not been any more news on this rescue.)

Rescuers have pulled 17 people from the rubble so far.

The massive tornado claimed 11 lives at just one nursing home.

According to Ozarks First 1500 are still missing in Joplin.

UPDATE: The search for survivors is gaining new urgency with the forecast of another storm bearing down on the city with the threat of more tornadoes tonight.
