This is what democracy thuggery looks like…
Several SEIU thugs were arrested yesterday after they gangrushed troopers in the state house.

  1. Brownshirts.

  2. And BTW, if they are so concerned about their clients, why aren’t they busy taking care of them?

  3. How can all these thuggeries are happening in blue states? These people are used to being moocher, and they are like children when their lollipop is being taken away.

  4. SEIU, better get used to this: WE DON’T HAVE THE MONEY!!!! Your A** is grass and we are about to mow it down to size……….

  5. you know having all these videos has really provided so much proof, I hate to admit it, but a few years ago, I used to sympathesize with SEIU and other unions against the mean ol’ repubs.

I believed all their propoganda, now with videos and the Internet, I can find out this information and make up my own mind. I can read the legislation myself and see what it says, not what SEIU says it says.

In this case, I don’t think the unions have a clue that most normal, middle of the road Americans are seeing all this and are absolutely disgusted.

  7. I don’t think that I would let these “home healthcare” whack jobs in my front door!

  8. Why are all of these Leftards so Butt-Ugly? Is that a job requirement?

  9. We’ll likely see some real violence from these people this summer.

  10. “I don’t think that I would let these “home healthcare” whack jobs in my front door!”

    You got that right, vargas.

  11. I agree, Vargas. Seems rather risky to trust my health or my family’s health to screaming thugs, goons, and loonies. What might they do in my house if I failed to support their demands?

  12. We’re getting quite a collection of articles about violent union thugs here at Gateway Pundit. Thank you for putting all this stuff up here for all to see. These people are an absolute disgrace.

To the left – we, the new majority, are done with funding your fat benefits. Learn to live within your means like the rest of us.

  13. Of course the MsM has to mention that it was the only violence in a week of protests. Oh, then it’s OK!

This has been organized on a higher level. Its exactly like Wisconsin. Probably the same protesters too, bussed in.

  14. Don’t the old hippies look pathetic. They will never grow up.

  15. “What might they do in my house if I failed to support their demands?”

They would steal anything that wasn’t nailed down and let you die if you didn’t give up the goods. Organized crime = organized labor.

  16. I see most of these ‘home-healthcare’ workers don’t miss many meals. Are they taking care of their patients or eating them out of house and home?

  17. Dirty filthy commie hippies. I wouldn’t let these people take care of my DOG let alone a family member.
Come to think of it, I wouldn’t let these idiots PET my dog.

  18. For someone who has to care for her patients every hour, Glenda Faatoafe spends a lot of time out at protests or testifying before Congress.

Every link is an activism story: http://www.bing.com/search?q=glenda+faatoafe&form=OSDSRC

  19. Oh, yeh, I’d trust them around my IV…

  20. I’m looking at these “protesters” and thinking to myself what a bunch of mean, nasty and vindictive people they are. They don’t have respect for anything. This is the face of “Big Labor”. These are the useful idiots who are bankrupting the country. These are the new communists.

  21. re the woman who said “My patient needs to be turned every hour or he will die!” Really? Then WTF was she doing there? Goes for all of them howling about their patients! FYI I was a CNA for a year and that sounds like BS. This is all about them. You know. Like keeping Planned Parenthood funding is all about the children. Is there no low they will not sink to? Yes, it’s a rhetorical question. But feel free to answer.

  22. The scariest point made by the home healthcare people was the lady going on about her patient who needed to be turned every hour and that the legislature has blood on its hands. A few points need to be made.

    1. Insufficient turning can, indeed kill
    2. The most frequent turning protocol is 2 hours, not one (according to my MD wife)
    3. These turning protocols are and have long been violated because staffing is *never* at the levels needed to maintain that rate of turning. In other words, the current rate of reimbursement has always been a sort of silent death panel.
    4. We currently just turn our heads and ignore the violation of these protocols as nurses and aides do their best to get as close as they can. This is the root of the legitimate complaint they’re protesting about. The general public has never been educated as to just how expensive following all the protocols are and has never been honestly told how much more expensive actually following them would be. Family members are under the delusion that the protocols can be followed and that they are being followed.

  23. The state of WA should send bills to their lodgers, or turn on the sprinklers every hour.

  24. If ever there were an opportunity for the proper application of a Taser, this is certainly it.

  25. Just a passing thought … would any sane person want a single one of those asshats caring for a loved one? I don’t think so.

  26. Last time I checked WA state was an uber-liberal, dem controlled state. Why is it failing to provide for the union masses? Where is the utopian dream?

  27. STL Hawkeye: that was the first thing I noticed, too. No dieticians in the group, I guess.

  28. The democrats have let organized labor have anything they wanted in exchange for campaign contributions from union dues. Public sector unions have demanded and received overly generous benefits. This has put the blue states in the same boat as the big three auto companies. The legislator in the suit was a democrat and has been forced to face the fact that benefits must be reduced.

In the red states (such as Alabama where I live) we get the money first and spend it afterwards. If the constitutes a radical approach to budgeting, it is catching on. Alabaster was planning a new town hall complex, but the recession reduced the town’s revenue. That project is now on hold.

These ugly demonstrations do not seem to be altering public opinion about government largesse, nor do they change the facts that the states are left with no option other than reducing spending. Groups of adults breaking the law is not the answer.

My advice to the SEIU is this: If you have a position, state it. If not, try not to speak.

  29. Agree with espresso logic–why are liberal women/thugs so butt ugly–man, those people fell out of the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down.

  30. I bet my house that these “home healthcare workers” are stealing from their patients, both property and controlled medications. I would have armed guards if they were watching over my parents. Anyone that would lie to your face, would not hesitate to rob you blind.

Some people, like these lunatics, aren’t valuable to any society.

  31. Couldn’t help but notice that one of the protesters had a name that looked like “FatOaf”

  32. they are fascists: if they can’t win an election they think they can intimidate the legislature to do their will.

    fascists.

  33. That pie-hole woman’s patient is more at risk of being crushed to death by his blue-shirt wearing “provider”-moocher.

  34. I know people have made this point but Jeez at union rallies is there anywhere you see fatter more ugly people.

Just a point (conservatives know this but any union member or lefty on this site) You are tax consumers NO MATTER WHAT level of tax you pay. Salary $100K, taxes $40k, tax consumption $60k easy math. That woman shouting “we own this house” hasn’t probably contributed a penny in “net tax/salary” in her life.

  35. I have an elderly aunt and several other friends that I visit in a nursing home every other day. I have a huge amount of sympathy and respect for those in the health care field who ensure residents are properly cared for and loved, but I suspect some of these protesters are more lefty activists than caregivers. Most of the ones I know are too busy working extra shifts and caring for relatives to have time to go to the state capitol.
The worst thing the left is doing is spending so much government money on unnecessary stuff that the truly needy will end up worse off in time. One of the scariest things about Obamacare is that it will put millions of new people on state medicaid. Medicaid is absolutely essential to the truly destitute people I see in the nursing home, and I am afraid it will be bankrupted by this addition. It is going to get very ugly as states and the US government inevitable go broke, and I fear for my friends.

  36. If it came down to death or letting one of those people save me…….well, please throw a wild wake for me.

  37. I hate to say this but some of those over-weight women don’t look like they could lift an elderly patient let alone climb stairs. Aren’t there any physical requirements for these jobs? These are CNAs I assume.

  38. I lived in Eastern Washington for 25 years–I am saddened to see the Wisconsin poison has spread to Olympia–My solution would involve the liberal application of tasers, transporting this scum and dropping it off in pioneer square in Seattle. But thats just me

  39. Oh–I should also say the Washington State Patrol is an exemplary police force and used more discretion in handling these thugs than I would have–Kudos to the WSP–a great bunch of men and women, even if they did bust me for speeding on the way to the apple bowl in Pullman :)

  40. “How can all these thuggeries are happening in blue states?”

Because red states generally have gun and self defense laws that cause thuggeries in them to become shot.

  41. Oh, their demonstrations will make a difference! Just not the difference they’re hoping for.

  42. I notice two things:

    1) The protester who was oblivious to the irony of her claim that the client she has abandoned will die with no one to care for him;

    2) They’re all fat.

I’m not being snarky – I’m seriously startled at the fact that virtually ALL of the women protesting were 30-100 pounds overweight. Is that the way healthcare providers are? Or SEIU members? Or is it just the way it is in Wisconsin?

  43. Judging by their weight, they must be turning their patients – on a spit!

Holy god were any of them under 180 lbs?!? Are they paid in taffy or something?

Here’s the thing, home healthcare workers are just warm bodies. They’re not nurses or medical practitioners. My family has had to deal with them for years. Some are fine, but most are kind of shiftless. It’s a very easy job, which is why it does pay much.

  44. Tip to protesters: if you’re chubby-looking and your last name is Faatoafe (0:40), don’t admit it to a TV reporter.

  45. Ha Ha, her last name was Faatoafe, very fitting! Fat oaf, indeed!

  46. They all looked overweight except for the 68 year old lady. Maybe they can cut down on eating and put the money saved towards patient care.

  47. Is that the way healthcare providers are?

Overall, healthcare workers are less healthy than the general population.

  48. Play the video with the sound off and tell me that’s its not the perfect picture of liberal/progressive civility.

  49. One word for the “protestors”. Salad.

  50. Middle-aged and not a looker among them. Me thinks these are SEIU patient care technicians, not nurses. Nurses for the most part know better unless they have been smitten by the lucrative monetary allure of belonging to a union like SEIU.

We don’t have unionized home patient care nurses or aides here in SC. Why should any other state have them? A complete waste of money IMHO.

  51. I have a strange feeling that a lot of these “health care providers” are nothing of the sort. Just more union sponsored astroturf.

  52. we need to increase taxes to put more money into the hands of the politicans. the people that spent us into bankruptcy. we need to keep marching over the cliff. its the liberal way. andy stern is a communist, these people obviously drank his cool-ade.

  53. Puttin’ it to the Man and the Man strikes back. An extensive butt kicking is warranted.

  54. I agree with Rick #9, things are going to get more violent. This will continue to be their undoing I am happy to say. These union demonstrations are “adult” versions of temper tantrums. There is no money left therefore there is no discussion or argument left, only the overt display of raw emotion. Sad

  55. I’ll bet half of these fat ugly feminist hags are not even paying taxes on the cash money they are getting from these elderly people they are supposed to be doing home healthcare for. And the liberal men….like Harry Reid, Biden….etc…they must all have a mental disease to believe this differently than our Founding Fathers.

This is what our country has come to? Entitled, Liberal, Feminist hags, that want everything handed to them, not based on merit…because they know they could not compete for ANYTHING…they want to live in the comfort and safety of the US, while bashing every warrior that keeps them safe in the night…..

    …REALLY?….REALLY? UNBELIEVABLE!!!

  56. Yes, we will see more and more kinetic demonstrations until someone decides to fight back.

That will be labelled “civil unrest” and Obama’s excuse to deploy troops to deal with it.

  57. This is going on not five minutes from my house.

It’s going to get worse before it gets better.

    And I can’t wait.

They’ll overplay their hand. They always do, and they’ll riot in the streets again with help from their ‘Greener friends.

Meanwhile, the rest of the state – which believe it or not – leans Red outside of King County and parts of Snohomish, Pierce and Thurston – will see what’s going on.

Feed the Leftists more rope. They’ll always hang themselves with it.
    Always.

  58. STL Hawkeye. My Mom had a series of home health care workers in California rob her blind.

  59. Just want Liberals want.

    http://www.bluecollarphilosophy.com/2011/02/are-the-democrats-turning-wisconsin-into-egypt-in-hopes-to-spread-the-chaos-2.html

Sowing chaos to create a “crisis” that can be utilized for a power grab.

  60. I worked for some clients one time that had hundreds of thousands dollars stolen in about a 6 month span of time from a family member by a caregiver. By the time the family realized she had done it and an arrest warrant had been issued, she had disappeared. I am not sure what happened because I left that job before it was resolved. I would tell you how she did it but I don’t want to give the liberal Dems who may be lurking any ideas.

  61. Are they charged for their stay at Hotel “State House”?

  62. Boy, sure would have been a good time that night to set off a bunch of industrial-strength bug-bombs. It would have rid the place of all of the vermin infesting it.

  63. The reason all those “health care” union workers are there in Olympia is because they are all forced to join a union in WA. The same goes for day care workers, even if they are sole proprietors of the day care. Stay away from this demo controlled state.

  64. Now, it’s the unions that are the thugs.

It’s not “Norma Rae’s” union anymore.

  65. a former democrat commented:

It gets worse. SEIU does out and out shake down campaigns against companies. They start spreading false rumors, do protests against the target company on similar themes (all bs), and then start sending messages that the protests will stop if they pay up…. It is similar to how rainbow push works…

  66. Yep, a bunch if these caring “home health” workers stole all kinds if things from my parent’s house as they were dying of cancer. Knick-knacks, money, medications, you name it. We had a few that were a absolutely terrific but most were worthless hags that couldn’t have held a job anywhere else.

  67. The Capitol police need to keep office hours in the Capitol and kick these people out instead of letting them bring in sleeping bags and spend the night.

  68. I am a public employee/union member. These protesters disgust me. They act like nothing more than spoiled children throwing temper tantrums.

  69. My wife became a caregiver to help out better for someone in need and found herself a member of SEIU and having dues deducted. I found and told her she can have the automatic deduction stopped but she is afraid to draw their attention.

We are willing to accept whatever cuts are needed to balance the budget here in Washington, especially knowing we will be better off in the long run in every way. We will just be grateful that we live in a wonderful America that can do so much for those who cannot help themselves.

  70. I dont get it. If they feel they are not getting a fair shake from their government jobs, they can always get twice the pay from the private sector. isnt that what they say?

  71. You know, if they don’t want those people camping on the statehouse floor, those marble floors look wonderfully water resistant.

    The sleeping bags don’t.

  72. The police should mow down this Commie scum with automatic weapon fire.
