Donald Trump took credit this morning for Barack Obama finally releasing his long form birth certificate.
“I’m really really proud that I was able to finally force Obama to do this. I’m honored. I’ve accomplished something really really important.”
Real Clear Politics reported:
“I’m taking great credit and you have to ask the president, ‘why didn’t he do this a long time ago? Why didn’t he do it a long time ago?’ When Hillary Clinton was asking, when everybody was asking, why didn’t he do it? It’s shocking. It’s shocking,” Donald Trump said at a press conference this morning on President Obama’s birth certificate.

It seems odd that a state that is comprised of hundreds of islands spred out over 1,500 miles would have a box on the birth certificate for hospital and not attending physician or mid wife.

I do give credit for Trump making Obama put up something, because it was catching fire all over the country. (he certainly didn’t do it to move on to jobs, gas prices, middle east disaster)
HOWEVER, the one the WH produced is not!!! the long form birth certificate. Don’t be fooled. People are falling for it.

His mother was born on Nov 29, 1942. Birth Cert shows BHO was born on Aug 4, 1961. That means she was 18 yrs 8 months old when BHO was born. She was 17 years old, or a minor, when BHO Sr. had relations with her. He was 25, she was a minor. A kid. A high school kid. Still taking the bus to school. Pony tails and gym shoes.

@19 AlaskaHome1959, the coincidence is that at least one state has now passed a law requiring citizenship identity to be on the ballot. This is to head that off.
Once again, this is a Certificate of Live Birth. There is no seal evident. I’m not sure if foot prints are taken (my Washington state birth certificate did not, but it does have a seal). I think this is an identity theft document. But then what do I know?

Although Trump claims credit for the release, I think the more likely trigger is the soon-to-be-released Jerome Corsi book titled “Where’s the Birth Certificate” or something like that.
I wish I understood how these records are kept. It’s obvious that the document is not 50 years old … it’s printed on crisp, clean 2011 paper. Is this because there is no original paper copy? If there’s no original paper copy, then where do the signatures, old typewriter fonts, etc. come from? If there *is* an original paper copy, then why don’t they show us a picture of that? It would certainly be more convincing.

Or Obama just gave a big boost to Trump precisely because he’d be such a weak opponent in the general. And he did it when Trump was already winning the straw polls (to the horror of serious republicans, not that they have many winners among the current candidates).
My guess is Trump can’t win the nomination, but with this boost he might well make the nomination process really chaotic.
