Except last week when he said George W. Bush was likely the worst president and in 2008 when he called Bush evil.
Donald Trump tonight told Sean Hannity:
“Look, he’s (Obama) been a horrible president. I always said the worst president was Jimmy Carter. Jimmy Carter goes to second place. Barack Obama has been the worst president ever.”
Agreed.
I am a Trump fan but The Donald is going to have to clean up the script some if he does not want to be eaten alive by the far left Obamedia.

There are others, but I do share your concern about the republican party’s lack of conservatism.
I was working my ass off in 2010 to get conservatives elected, while Trump was donating to liberal marxists. Now he says he is a conservative! #1. Sarah Palin, proven to have the toughness, and fight and principles and integrity.
#2. Michele Bachman, walking the walk and talking the talk.
I think a woman would be hard for Obama to beat up on, and they would have a very hard time painting a woman racist. Jim DeMint is good, but I don’t think he could beat Obama.
Col. West, Marco Rubio will mature and be ready in a few more years.
Unfortunately, most the republican men are RINO’s or just don’t have the fight in them to do what needs to be done.
If Trump is serious about running, and intent on running as an independent, WE need to run Palin/Bachman. We need constitutional conservatives running then Trump and Obama would split the moderate/liberal vote and in a three way race, conservatives have a solid 40%.
Keep Karl Rove out of it, as he is going to attempt to queer any republican candidate to get his progressive buddy Obama in for another term, and set it up for good old boy Jeb Bush in 2016 if we still have elections by then. The Bush’s are the republican wing of the progressive party and GW got Obama elected and might have destroyed our country.
chili palmer commented:
The Trump donation spam is everywhere, I guess people are worried. Trump was a big supporter of Rudy Giuliani when he was rising as a Republican. I volunteered for Giuliani in the 1990′s and saw Trump at his fundraisers. Regarding Bush, he liked him until it became clear Iraq was not a war but a bunch of business deals called “nation building.” I agree with him. The Republican Party does not exist in NY or NJ, therefore mostly democrats get elected, and Trump gave to some of them. People should know by now that Trump’s agent is Rahm Emanuel’s brother. The Republicans under George Bush destroyed the country, destroyed lifetimes of work and sacrifice, and told conservatives to shut up. Trump is right if he says that was very bad. I voted for Bush twice and wore a red, white, and blue scarf to my polling place in Manhattan. The existing people still in charge of the GOP like Obama very much and would be happy to see him re-elected. Their number one enemy is conservatives and they will fight more viciously to stop them than they will to stop Obama (words of Rush Limbaugh last week, with which I agree). If this country is to be saved, we need someone very different, very strong, and from outside the sick GOP system. Regarding sticking to a story, from the quote on this post he said Bush was ‘likely’ the worst president, which means just that, ‘likely.’ It’s also possible he has named more than one as ‘the worst.’ Fine. The GOP is quite happy with Obama, and I am not. I am for Mr. Trump.

Looks like the smear Trump campaign from the GOP is in high gear. Drudge is now running the headline “YESTERDAY: TRUMP PRAISES OBAMA; BUSH ‘EVIL’.” When you link to the cited article (http://tinyurl.com/3kos4le) you find it is dated 11/11/2008 not exactly “yesterday”. In this article Trump says “I think he has a chance to go down as a great president. Now, if he’s not a great president, this country is in serious trouble.” I don’t see that as much of a praise. Every president, at the very beginning, has the chance to be a great president. Very few ever achieve it.

And Palin has made a lot of really stupid statements (loved her comments about the koran burning last year, showed that she had no idea what she was talking about.) Bachman… don’t see her having a chance either. She’s also very silent about the one foreign threat.
And Trump… yeah, sure. He who is only screaming “birth certificate!” instead of commenting on the issues or bringing even the slightest hint of solutions. Great material. Yeah, okay, so he complained about the oil prices. That’s cute. Did he bring a solution? Nope. Hot air, nothing else.

No one can beat Obama but Romney. Romney/Cain would be electable, or Romney/Jindahl. It ain’t perfect but we can’t be so perfectionistic that a clown like Trump comes in spouting all the right talking points and hands the election to Obama.
At this point it’s really about business/one worlders/and economics. Besides, the Mormies really believe in the Constitution.

However, having lived in or near Massachusetts for much of my life, I can assure you the Mitch Romney is the dead last person I would support or vote for. He is like the old tire you keep in the trunk just in case you get a flat. His candidacy went nowhere last time – what on earth makes you think he would get any farther this time? Romney is pretty much washed up politically – has been ever since he saddled Massachusetts with Romneycare, which is a horrendous failure. And he did NOT fix the first darned thing when it comes to the MA fiscal mess. If anything he made it worse.

Calm down Granny. “Mormies” an affectionate term for the Mormons around here. Lots of 20-something missionaries on bicycles. Utah is our neighbor and we’re not so thin-skinned in the West.
I’ll have to do further research on Romney and Massachusetts. My recollection was that he did what he could, but it would be helpful if you could offer an educational analysis. I still think the Left fears Romney–running with a minority he’d be unstoppable.
I wish Lee Atwater were here.
But Trump is PLAYING. He is being used to discredit all the important platforms of the Conservatives.

While he had harsh words for the outgoing president, he had a much different opinion of President-elect Barack Obama.
“I think he has a chance to go down as a great president. Now, if he’s not a great president, this country is in serious trouble,” said Trump.
“I think [Obama's] going to lead through consensus,” continued Trump. “It’s not going to be just a bull run like Bush did. He just did whatever the hell he wanted. He’d go into a country, attack Iraq, which had nothing to do with the World Trade Center and just do it because he wanted to do it.”
Trump was then asked if he ever thought he would see an African-American president in his lifetime.
“They always said 100 years before a black man or woman could be elected president. And the 100 years turned out to be, like, one year. He’s done an amazing job,” said Trump.

pot. Nobody in the GOP would ever consider him a contender if they saw his list
of campaign contributions. He is like his own hair- all over the place.

If Trump loses the primary and runs as an independent, what makes Trump any different from Lisa Murkowski that all of us conservatives hate??? Trump hasn’t even declared his candidacy officially and he’s already saying that he doesn’t give a crap about the will of the party voters. how is that different from any other RINO?

Trump might be just a one trick pony. He’s done pretty well at it, though.
After watching Hannity’s interview with him yesterday (there’ll be more of it today) — I began to be embarrassed for him. He sounded shallow, infantile, almost pathetic. Is there no end to the self-promotion?
The answers he gave seemed to come from a man without firm footing – one who’s shifted with whatever winds are favorable to him at the moment and one who’s thought little about things beyond the next big deal. He had difficulty dodging the reality of who he is.
In putting self first, he’s much like the present occupant of the WH. But BO is far more practiced in the art of deceit — and in hiding his insecurities.
