Governor Tim Pawlenty was dragged into the birther issue today after his speech in Collinsville, Illinois. Pawlenty said this of the birther accusations:
“Before someone makes the allegation they should have some evidence to indicate that the allegation that they are making is meritorious or has some promise to it. In this case there was no evidence, actual evidence to indicate that he wasn’t born in the United States.”
Governor Tim Pawlenty was the keynote speaker at the “Metro East Miracle” event today in Collinsville, Illinois sponsored today by former gubernatorial candidate Adam Andrzejewski.

That’s evidence enough to demand he produce the certificate and/or explain the delay and costs in preventing.

On one it says “Honolulu, Oahu” on the other it says “Honolulu, Hawaii”. Are governments in the habit of putting two different states or counties on these types of documents a day apart? I would think that line of all of them should read the same. What am I missing?

everyone take a look : here is a 1998 copy of a birth certificate, and it looks exactly like Obama’s, but Obama was born just after the 1950s, so we know this is a fraud. They do notlook like this, mine does not, it is plain white with a blue- watermark so no one could ever duplicate it.

Trump made no accusations…but if he had accused Barky of not having a long-form birth certificate on file with the Hawaii Dept of Health, the accusation would still not be proven wrong.
The operative phrase at the bottom is that it is a “COPY OR ABSTRACT” (abstract meaning lifted summary information; not necessarily complete information or a reproduction of the entire document.)

What’s important to know: Fuddy of the HDOH says this is a “computer-generated certified copy” produced outside their usual policies, which she gave herself authority to waive, just in Obama’s case, because he’s the president. A Fox News story said,
“Officials in Hawaii had said state law PROHIBITS THEM FROM RELEASING THE INFORMATION CONTAINED IN THE FULL BIRTH CERTIFICATE FILING – EVEN IF THE PRESIDENT HIMSELF REQUESTED A COPY. But that didn’t stop the president from requesting last week two certified copies of certificate of live birth from Director of Health Loretta J. Fuddy. On Monday, Fuddy complied. ‘As director of health for the state of Hawaii, I have the legal authority TO APPROVE THE PROCESS by which copies of such records are made. Through that authority, in recognition of your status as president of the United States, I am MAKING AN EXCEPTION to the current departmental policy which is TO ISSUE A COMPUTER-GENERATED CERTIFIED COPY,’ she wrote.”
The exception was to issue a COMPUTER-GENERATED certified copy. So they admit it’s computer generated. That might include all the photoshopping that seems to be in evidence. Another exception might be to not print the late or delayed or amended notification. Another exception might be to make this an abstract containing only the LATEST (most recent) permutation of all the facts contained in the “full birth certificate filing.” Which might mean elimination of the names of the biological parents, if he was adopted, replaced by the adoptive parents. Which might mean elimination of his name at birth, as opposed to what it is now, after being amended in their records. Which might mean elimination of the fact that at birth no father was named, but one was later added, via amendment, but this computer-generated abstract isn’t showing that out of deference to his status as president. You see how it goes?
Even he can’t get access to the FULL information. So what was embarrassing on the original that is now not evident on this supposed long-form which is NOT a TRUE COPY OF HIS ORIGINAL LONG-FORM BIRTH CERTIFICATE? It’s a computer-generated abstract, created just for him outside their usual policies and procedures. Didn’t a legislator want to pass a law so they could do just this? Create a “something” especially for Obama? Well, looks like it’s been done without a special law.

Pawlenty has it exactly backwards. The onus shouldn’t be to prove that Obama WASN’T born in the U.S. Rather, it should have been on Obama to prove the he WAS born in the U.S., or more precisely, that he satisfied the Constitutional requirements for being president.
As far as I’m concerned, the issue still isn’t settled, and won’t be until the document has been wrung out in a court of law – complete with forensic examination and sworn testimony by experts, and run the full gamut of appeals up through the Supreme Court.
Obama brought this controversy on himself. He tried to play Americans for fools. He deserves payback for that.
And thank you, Donald Trump. Now go after those academic transcripts and other things he has been hiding.

It’s not about Obama or the birthers or anything else other than the US Constitution. If nothing is done about the fact that he is not eligible to be President there is now a precedent set that will allow pretty much anyone to become President, regardless of qualifications.

You can see that the document is a bogus forgery by the imprinted dates Aug -8 1961 in the bottom corners. Compare to an Aug 11 certificate from the same hospital and the number letter fonts are not a match…Some very subtile differences. Look at the hand writing of the dates on the Aug 11 certificate . Its the exact same handwriting that dated Ann Dunham’s signature. The name of the attendant is entirely different on the Aug 11 certificate, but again the date handwriting is a perfect match to Obama’s bogus certificate. The 3 black triangles pointing to the signatures are irregular with jagged edges. The vertical lines at #12a and #17a are too thin. Two problems with that statement. First, while it’s understandable for a presidential contender to stand back from this issue a bit, Timmy is as guilty as anyone for stepping right into it by taking a position seemingly indicating that nothing is wrong. Secondly, he falls into the trap of defining the issue as being Obama’s birthplace, when that should not be the primary focus. What’s important is why Obama hid the BC for so long (and the logical question of what he’s trying to hide), and what the legal determination of a “natural born” American really is (particularly relating to his father’s status as a foreign national).
Bottom line: Timmy has just screwed the pooch.
