Someone tell the state-run media…
Guess there wasn’t much backlash against the GOP’s budget plan after all, huh?
The architect of the GOP budget, Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI), was given a warm reception this week at his town halls.

Via the Greenfield Reporter:
Republican Congressman Paul Ryan continues to draw capacity crowds at town hall meetings, most recently in Waterford and Franklin.
About 250 people crammed into the Waterford City Hall on Thursday, where people peppered Ryan with questions about Medicare and government spending.
At a second stop, about 400 people gathered in a high school auditorium in Franklin.
Ryan received generally warm receptions at both. In Waterford, 68-year-old Ken Thiede (TEE’-dee) of nearby Rochester thanked Ryan for being a leader who stands up for the little guy.

Guess all the left wing talk radio hosts were working today…What is more surprising is that the unions weren’t out. I thought they were paid to do that type of thing.

It’s useless to heckle Ryan HERE. It doesn’t play. The end is near for Wisconsins’ public unions. And they know it.

Most Americans fully realize that if fedgov ran its budgets like their personal household budgets, there would NOT be the insanity that defines government. Democratic government to be sure, but the GOPers (we’re looking at you, Bush, and your spending) are also at fault.
This explains why there is no grassroots anger at Ryan. Most realize he’s acting like an adult in the face of unbelievable debt.

Thank you Mr. Ryan. Outstanding Republican…
Thank you for this fine posting Mr. Hoft.
In fact, Christie, Brewer, Jindal, Boehner, Blackburn, Bachmann, Pence, etc., are impressive and have served very well.
The tide of insanity – this Democratic Party disaster – is turning around.
Democrats wish the likes of Ryan are being rejected by the Public, but the reality is, it is the Democratic Party which is sinking like a rock.

When was the last time you saw a politician who wanted to spend a lot of time explaining his own bill to the American public? Not in a gooooooooooooooood loooooooooooooooon while, eh! It just never happens. Remember when Obama promised to go over his health care bill “line by line” to ensure that people understood it? Well, although there were takers on this offer, it never materialized. Most politicians don’t want the public to know the dirty details in their legislation. I love Paul Ryan for this.
