Senate Democrats Defeat GOP Efforts to Block the EPA from Destroying US Industry

Senate Democrats today defeated a Republican effort to block the EPA from destroying American industry.
All but 4 democrats voted in favor of industry-crippling regulations that will obliterate US manufacturing.
Missouri liberal Claire McCaskill stood with democrats in supporting the new EPA industry-crippling regulations.
Huffington Post reported:
Senate Democrats have defeated a Republican effort to ban the Environmental Protection Agency from controlling the gases blamed for global warming.
In a 50-50 vote, the Senate rejected a measure by Minority Leader Mitch McConnell and Sen. James Inhofe of Oklahoma. It would have repealed a 2009 finding by federal scientists that climate change caused by greenhouse gases endangers human health and prevented the agency from using existing law to regulate them. The amendment – to a small business bill – needed 60 votes to pass.
The Republican-controlled House is expected to pass an identical bill later Wednesday. The White House has threatened to veto it.

Our coke plant is shutting down due to the EPA’s new and expensive regulations…they supplied
A-K Steel. A neighboring state is also losing one of their biggest factories due to the same thing.
We lost 263 jobs. The other State has more employees.
All Obama is doing has to be intentional, no one representing the American people would ban oil drilling, and mining coal…while helping foreign countries drill and mine.
He is not insane…..he is not stupid…….he just hate America and her citizens……he is a Soros flunky, and soros is going to have a meeting, starring Nancy Pelosi, and his comrads…to decide how the global financial system should be….according to Soras!
Now, when we know this…and know Obama is destroying us and not coming up with a serious budget…………put two and two together!

So when they had supermajorities, they couldn’t pass Cap and Tax because they were afraid of losing their elections, but they are fine with letting the EPA essentially enact a law they knew Americans hated? Do they really think we’re that stupid? This is a vote for Cap and Tax. Period.

There’s a refinery close by – let’s hope it doesn’t suffer the same fate.
El Presidente said in 2008 that he wasn’t against the high gasoline prices in 2007, only that they ran up too fast. The EPA will be responsible for a sizable increase in retail gasoline prices. It’s a shame that there is no “journalist” with the intellectual curiousity to call El Presidente and his Party out on it.

what is absolutely stunning, Senator Mcskaill barely won in 2006, and I remember it was Micheal J Fox’s endorsement that pushed her over the finish line, it was her stated support of manufacturing expansion in her state. She had so many ads with “increasing manufacturing jobs in MO” in 2006.

No, they don’t endanger human health. No, there is no climate change caused by greenhouse gases. There isn’t enough CO2 and the methane amount is ridiculously low. And climate change has always happened and will always happen. With or without us. There’s nothing we can do about that.

Any democrat that tells you they are in favor of the creation of American jobs is lying. They have no interest in ANY American succeeding in the job market.
They are choosing insanity over sanity when they make these votes. Nothing to do with allowing big business to destroy the environment. 50% of our electricity comes from coal; the only byproduct from an ethanol plant is CO2. Do these tools have any idea the havoc they will bring down on every American ? I think the next budget needs to defund the EPA.
Can anyone tell me one thing the dept. of Energy has done since that Commie lib Carter created it?
