Several Korans were torched during protests against holy Koran-burning.

The Christian Science Monitor
reported, via ROP:

As the dust settles in Afghanistan after sustained protest over a Florida pastor’s Quran burning, many residents in Kandahar are facing an unpleasant truth: More Qurans were burned in the course of their protests than by Terry Jones. The demonstrations, which started peacefully, quickly turned violent, killing at least nine people and injuring scores in Kandahar City alone. And as protesters vandalized a girls’ school and set fire to shops, Qurans also inadvertently went up in flames. “If they burn a shop, there is a Quran in every shop, so this is a big problem,” says Azizullah Aziz, a perfume and soap salesman in Kandahar City. “People don’t know how to protest.”

  1. You know, if those idiots would leave us “infidels” in peace, they’d make for great comedy.

  2. So right. Wow that is terrifically funny even so.

  3. Widespread severe mocking is in order here. Imagine how many Korans could be eliminated.

  4. THE irony of this. protest the burning of a koran by burning more korans, i’m just shocked, shocked i tell ya, / sarc. now only if they could get them sucide bombers to quit blowing-up the korans. how do you like that last sentence, got to teach them how to protest, this what happens when deal with dumb-down people, gotta hold their hand.

    | Boy, we really showed you guys a thing or two, huh?
    | We’ll torch our whole place down and that’ll show you not to burn a Koran!
    | Soon we will drive the infidel U.N. aid workers from our shores and revel
    | in our Islamic mud. Is our mud! You touch our mud and we keeeel you!

  6. When they stop snorting cocaine they will maybe stop burning their book of lies! Breathing the air there from all the stuff they grow (sarc) and bending over and raiseing their heads five times a day….the sweetest sound in the world (sarc) that is what you get….A bunch of stupid evil males dressed in dresses.

  7. I like how the “moderate” muslims are more upset over the fact that additional korans were burned than they are that dozens of innocent people were murdered and even beheaded.

Typical of that disgusting religion of death and oppression.

  8. Well, intellectual consistency was never the hallmark of the mob, was it?.

  9. “People don’t know how to protest.” ROFL! I think that says it all!

  10. Started my chimnea with some pages just today form my handy dandy instant koran fire kit.

    Pinon smelled sooooooo good.

Just to irritate the muzterds, what you gonna do? kill somebody extra?????

    powder is dry

  11. These people are not mature enough to vote.

Of course, we have the same problem in our country too.

  12. If a Muslim burns a Koran does he cut off his own head?

  13. “killing at least nine people and injuring scores in Kandahar City alone. And as protesters vandalized a girls’ school and set fire to shops, Qurans also inadvertently went up in flames. People don’t know how to protest.”

It’s bcz muhammedans are braindead beasts

  14. The irony and ignorance that is mob mentality and action. Education doesn’t even need to be a factor when you consider that most western secular far left activists who riot are highly educated.

    Stupid is as stupid does.

  15. AHHAHAHHAHhahhahahhahahahahhhahaahahahhahhahahahhahahahhahahhahaahhahhahahahahahhahahahhahahahhahaha. Here is a plan, pull out of Iraq and Afghanistan and burn a few Korans and watch them all kill each other. ahhahahahahahahahah

How the hell do we think they could ever govern themselves. This sh@t Made my day.
    aahhahahahahahaha

  17. “People don’t know how to protest” — I guess they’re supposed to go in the shops and schools, find the Quran and remove it reverentially, then torch the building. Except that would allow the people inside to get away, and maybe that’s not good.

  18. The protest was immediately followed by protests over the Korans burnt during the first protest. The second protest involved a number of Korans burnt, and a third round of protests — and a few murders and burnt Korans — are expected next week.

  19. The Religion of Peace is not really the Religion of Peaceful Protests.

  20. Religion of Peace… right. More like the Religion of Raving Loonies.

  21. They don’t know how to protest – hah, haha. Too, too funny.

  22. They don’t read the Koran except for a few verses. It contradicts itself throughout.

I wouldn’t do it. I wouldn’t dare have a Koran in my house, for the same reason I wouldn’t have a voodoo doll, or a ouija board, or a deck of tarot cards: Having that evil thing within the walls of a home is seriously bad mojo. Bad things happen, especially to those who know and love Christ, when truly evil devices, talismans, and conduits are present in the home. Sounds strange, (like foolishness, yes? there’s a verse about that in the NT somewhere….) but it’s the way it is.

Then again, I believe the spirit world is a very real thing, and not to be trifled with, or given any possible entry. save for the Spirit of God only.

Don’t get me wrong, I would actually, and have, read the Koran, and even touch this thing — it’s not a virus. Just wouldn’t keep one, for any reason, in the house.

    HA! YES!

  25. well they are just going to have to behead some of those afghan muslims.

  26. In Afghanistan the radical muslims riot and burn the Koran. In the US the radical liberals and unions riot and destroy state capitol buildings. The difference is?
