A radical Islamist group warned Muslims this week to stay away from the Royal Wedding and avoid public transport on Friday. They say the wedding is a “legitimate target” for Al-Qaeda and Islamic terrorists.

The radical group Muslims Against Crusades threatened to disrupt Prince William’s wedding.

The Telegraph reported:

The royal wedding is a “legitimate target” for a terrorist attack because of Britain’s foreign policy and the invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan, a radical Islamic group has claimed.

Muslims Against Crusades, which had its application to protest on Friday turned down by police, yesterday urged Muslims to stay away from central London when Prince William marries Kate Middleton and to avoid all means of public transport due to the heightened risk of an attack.

Assad Ullah, leader of the extremist campaign group, insisted that it had no “inside knowledge” but was simply repeating security fears that have already been widely reported.

“There is a legitimate Islam opinion that those who have been attacked have the right to retaliate,” he said.

“British foreign policy is causing this kind of feeling and increasing the instability in this country. We do not advocate violence but can see how they made themselves a legitimate target for others.”

Announcing that the group had abandoned its plans to protest against the wedding, group spokesman Abu Abbas said: “We urge all Muslims to stay away from the royal wedding, not only because of the drinking, drug taking and sexual promiscuity but because of the likelihood of an attack by the Mujahideen.

Jihad Watch reminded us:

This is the same group that provoked public outrage by disrupting the traditional Armistice Day moment of silence and burning large replicas of the poppy, Britain’s symbol of remembrance and respect for fallen soldiers, while chanting “British soldiers burn in hell,” and holding banners proclaiming that “Islam will dominate.”

If you’re not exactly charmed by that sort of behavior, you’ll like it even less knowing the man charged and fined for disturbing the peace in that case works only part-time and takes in £792 a month in state benefits.


These same radicals carried “British Soldiers Burn In Hell” signs at their protest on Armistice Day.

    15 years ago I had the pleasure of spending some time around Windsor and a lot of the smaller towns along the Thames… Sonning, Henley, Maidenhead and others. They were literally living picture postcards of a fantastic country, and just as I had imagined it. I shudder to think what these towns would look like today; certainly less English as the invaders have absolutely no respect for English culture.

    I would hope you are right, but I am much less optimistic about the UK. Loyal Brits would soon be silenced as racist reactionaries by the elites who are actively working to “change” their society. Britain seems close to a tipping point. The stories that come out of the UK indicate a society in the advanced stages of self-immolation. The Islamists know a major terror strike could push them over. Britain may be too far gone to put up a fight. The first act will be to fold like Spain, abandon the wars, and start to allow sharia in muslim sectors. In 20 years, the Church of England could be Islam.

    I work for a British company and will be going to London this fall. I am interested to see if things are as bad as they sound from here. I sincerely hope not.
