Worst. President. Ever.

Another record!
Obama reached a new low in favorability today.
Rasmussen reported:
The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Monday shows that 19% of the nation’s voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as president. Thirty-nine percent (39%) Strongly Disapprove, giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -20 (see trends).
Today’s numbers reflect the lowest level of Strong Approval yet recorded for this president. There has been a sharp decline in enthusiasm among liberal voters.
Currently, just 37% of liberals Strongly Approve of the president’s performance. That’s down from 63% a year ago, 57% at the beginning of 2011, and 52% a week ago. Some liberal commentators have expressed disappointment with the president over the extension of the Bush tax cuts, the military action in Libya, and, most recently, the budget deal to avert a partial shutdown of the federal government. While liberal enthusiasm may be declining, 57% of voters believe the president is more liberal than they are.
Maybe if you took the economy and foreign policy out of the equation he would poll better. Maybe.

It’s still early. The MSM will change those poll numbers by this evening.

IIRC, that same poll showed overall approval at 44%. That isn’t too bad considering the events of the past two years.
Conservatives can’t take anything for granted. Don’t be complacent.

The Democrats want an all powerful gold plated bureaucracy. All Democratic politicians come from the bureaucracy and if turned out of office go back to the bureaucracy.

Obama is starting to show losses in black support. However, this is likely because his continuation of Bush policies is making Obama look like an uncle tom to white elites. Obama is not handing out enough reparations to the hood. All the money is going to government empoyees and global corporations…not enough free stuff handed down to the blacks on the street.

Those left are going to vote for him even if he has horns on his bony head and a pointy tail .
Bill Mitchell commented:
Being president sure would be easier if you didn’t have to actually govern. If you think about it, Obama is really in an impossible situation:
1. 80% of Democrats money comes from 20% of the country (the far left) so he cannot afford to alienate them.
2. Yet, if he does not triangulate to the middle, he alienates the Independents whome he fooled into thinking he was a moderate when running (silly Independents).
3. At this point he could cure cancer and balance the budget and Conservatives (40% of the nation) still would not support him.
So, to have any chance of re-election he has been forced to alienate his base (money) in order to grab the Independents (votes) assuming that when push comes to shove, the far left will vote for him no matter what he does being the devil they know. It looks like Obama will once again have to rely upon small donations ($8.47) from foreign countries made on their Visa cards where no address was checked (um, the $8.47 donation means that there was a foreign currency translation – I mean, who gives $8.47?).
Just think how much more powerful the Conservative Movement has become since Obama was elected? Thank you God for Obama.
Bill Mitchell commented:
The Republicans needs to run billboards showing Obama at his smuggest with the words below:
“Fooled me once, shame on you…”

I think the guy is trying to work way out of his pay grade…but I don’t think much of polls that say this or that public figure is “approved” of….Lincoln would have had a hard time if Rasmussen had been around. You have to consider the long term…and the long term for the “Obama Effect” is a $14 trn threat to national security.

I agree with #2 wodun.
The Rasmussen numbers are pretty volatile. As recently as a week ago Obama had a 48% approval level. That’s what is shocking – that after the last two years almost half the country thinks he is doing a good job??????
The “Strongly Disapprove” number fell to about 40% after the 2010 election and has stayed there. The “Strongly Approve” number has been more variable and was more towards 30% until this kinetic action in Libya started. You have to assume that most of that reduction comes form liberals disenchanted with the Libyan adventure and the continued use of Guantanmo. They will come home for the election.
Only a strong Republican candidate can beat a democrat who comes into the election with an absolute floor of support at about 45%, no matter how bad things are, and likely around 48% if things just putter along as they are now. Who is that candidate? Where are they?
Bill Mitchell commented:
Something people forget is as follows:
1) Although Obama built up an early insurmountable lead in the primaries, Hillary wiped the floor with him late as people realized what they might really be getting.
2) Obama didn’t win because he was so amazing, he won because John McCain was so lame. Remember that when McCain first announced Sarah Palin, he surged into a lead in the polls.
So Obama’s support was always a mile wide and an inch deep, and that was when people thought he was a genius and a moderate. Now we know he is an idiot and a liberal. Frankly, I see no way he can win in 2012.

“Just as Clinton was our first ‘black’ president, Obama is our first female president.”
Actually, Jefferson was – while there were 5 Presidents with “Black Blood” and considered to be at least partially African-American prior to Clinton. (The others are Jackson, Lincoln, Harding and Eisenhower)
Its just one of those things Liberals casually forget when its convenient for them – similar to their “one day there will be a gay president” nonsense while ignoring “bachelor” Buchanan and his relationship with William “Mrs.Nancy” King (congressman-AL)
JoeyO commented:
It, surprisingly, doesn’t seem as hard to beat an incumbent as the media always plays it up to be. There have been 14 sitting presidents to have been re-elected, but 13 who were not. Granted, that includes the three who lost primary bids after taking over for an assassinated Pres, but none the less its not the odds implied by the MSM – which is kind of strange itself considering 3 of the last 6 have failed to be re-elected (Ford, Carter and Bush41)
Also of note (and another one of those inconvenient truths the Left loves to ignore) is the fact that 4 Presidents have failed to win the seat despite winning the popular election. JQ Adams, Hayes, and B Harrison all failed to win the popular vote and still get elected prior to the most-recent Bush.
And I bring that up because I honestly feel like that is where we are headed for 2012. Obama has huge support in the extreme Blue-states, but has basically lost most of the rest of the country. Winning Cal, NY, Mas, etc will give him a huge percentage of the popular votes, but the Electoral Votes lost in the Purple-to-Red states is on pace to sink him fast. Those states might be close in voting (ie, 52-48% type votes) but close still gets the EC count.
That’s why its so important to have these Union-busting bills in states like WI, Oh, etc – they will make it infinitely harder to run the “get out the vote” machines (and inevitable fraud they create) in the states which will decide the election no matter how extreme his popularity is on the Blue-Coasts…
The bad thing is Obama winning the Popular because of vote tallies in Cal/Wash/NY/etc but loosing the Election because of an inability to get the majority of states, might just set off a chain reaction of violent riots and/or full scale race-war. We saw how angry the Left was over Bush, and that wasn’t even because of “the racist Tea Party stealing the election” (as the media is bound to report it…)

Califorinia is going to hit the wall by the end of the year. Democrats are in total denial about the $25 billion short fall. We are five Wisconsins on cruse control. Watch we will get a 15% (9% now) top income tax in California and the revolution will start. We might be in play in 2012.
Who the hell is buying California Bonds? Your investing in welfare payments and burocratic pentions.

What’s the debate? Anyone with half a brain and an ounce of common sense knew that Obama was a poltroon and over-educated elitist with absolutely no qualifications when he appeared on the national scene. Soros & Co spent almost a billion dollars (against McCain’s $300 billion) to get him elected. One half of Americans are of below average intelligence, and the same number have a below average education, and a slick advertising campaign will make them believe absolutely anything. I usually call them “libtards.” They’re not smart enough to be Liberals, they’re just retards that can be easily manipulated by Liberals.
The question is are the Conservatives of America (and foreign countries that contribute illegally) willing to pay the $1.2 billion necessary to buy the White House back from Soros?
