NATO Forces Kill 12 Rebels In Libya After Rebel Convoy Fired on Plane (Video)

Here’s the latest on Obama’s kinetic military operation…
Ten rebels were killed in NATO strike as Gaddafi vowed to fight on.
The rebel convoy reportedly fired on the NATO planes.
The BBC reported:
At least 12 people are reported to have been killed when a coalition plane enforcing the no-fly zone fired on a rebel convoy between Brega and Ajdabiya late on Friday night.
Doctors at a hospital in Ajdabiya told the BBC that three medical students were among the dead.
Nato said it was looking into the incident, adding that it takes reports of civilian casualties very seriously.
The attack came after rebels reportedly fired an anti-aircraft gun.
Meanwhile, Libya’s government rejected a rebel ceasefire offer. Spokesman Moussa Ibrahim dismissed the idea as “mad”.

I have a nasty suspicious mind and am very cynical. Is it possible that this whole Libya thing was orchestrated by Obama and Khadaffi for another purpose entirely? We are, after all, getting our news from the lying media and who really knows what the truth is. We’r not going to get that from either the obama administration or the media. Obama and Khadaffi have been as tight as ticks for years and all of the sudden obama turns on him? Not likely. He is, after all, not an ally of ours. And remember obama was complicit in the release of the Pan Am bomber last year. And only 1,000 rebels? What kind of revolution is that? And there was Hillary popping her bill about we want to help the rebels as soon as we find out who they are. Is this the new policy for the dims? Jump into a situation, then find out the facts. Then send in the CIA. It is probably their way of fitting the facts to suit their agenda. Or was this whole thing a “distraction” from not only obambacare but also turning our backs Mybarack, who WAS our ally.
When dealing the the dims, look at things from all angles. After you do that, go back and look again. Then ask your self what’s in it for them because there always will be something in it for them. 10 times out of 10 it will always be for their benefit.

As much as I like to consider “RT” as Mr. Putin’s “What I don’t like about America today” broadcast channel, it does, on occasion provide a bit of good information.
As to the emerging “Obama Doctrine”, if NATO bombs civilians then does NATO have to bomb itself? And how long is the “disproportionate response” manipulation going to be ignored.

Isn’t it interesting how the message changes based on the angle of the report? Swedish media today reported that Ghaddafi soldiers dressed as rebels sneaked in and fired anti-aircraft guns in the rebel line, then ran like hell. NATO then bombed the rebels.

This is total BS. They were firing at the planes and are using this to discredit NATO once again and get the jihadis in power.

Call me suspicious, but wasn’t Obama going on about how the rebels are comprised of Lawyers and doctors and such. And Al Jazeera is parroting this line constantly – every single rebel they interview is a doctor.

Give me a break people. If those idiots fired on the plane, then they deserved to be smoked. If you fire on my plane, I shoot back as well. Solution? Don’t friggin’ fire at me.
They didn’t know it was NATO? Yeah, right. ID-ing a NATO plane is soooo hard, right? Even if it goes fast and high you can make out a shape, and those shapes are different than Gaddafi’s planes.

That’s not quite correct. 1,000 trained fighters. I’m sure there are more “rebels” (more like “rabble”), but only a few of them seem to know what they’re doing. Interestingly, those 1,000 seem to be AQ.

And basically this conflict is about some tribes being angry for not being in on Gaddafi’s oil deals. Freedom and democracy my ass.
What do you think those “rebels” will do with Gaddafi’s Amazon guard?
If Gadaffi loses this, I think he will make a last stand. These women will fight to the death. Because fighting to the death, for them, is still better than falling alive into the hands of those “rebels”.
Yeah, I’m starting to root for Gaddafi. He’s an ass and should be removed. But I rather see Crazy Old Momo down there, than yet another mullah.

#16 I didn’t know obama and Michelle didn’t get invited to Chelsea’s wedding. He wasn’t invited to William’s wedding either. Do the people getting married feel he and his wife are jinxes?
