Two Missouri university professors are caught on tape pushing violence, thuggery and the “overthrow of the bourgeois.”

If you are wondering why some folks are starting to question whether a college education is worth the cost, the video below goes a long way towards explaining it. Recently, the University of Missouri-St. Louis (UMSL) and the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) sponsored two college courses: Introduction to Labor Studies and Labor Politics and Society, to be taught simultaneously through a video conference between to two campuses.
The Professors are Judy Ancel, Director of Labor Studies at UMKC and Don Giljum, business manager for the International Union of Operating Engineers at Ameren UE in St. Louis. (Bonus: he is a member of the Communist Party.)
In the class, the Professors not only advocate the occasional need for violence and industrial sabotage, they outline specific tactics that can be used. As one of our colleagues pointed out, its the matter-of-factness of it all that is so disturbing.

PS: but then again, in the years after 9-11, some fashion has grown on the right side of history, which tends to behave in similar folly. Anyone dividing with terms of “blue blood” are tell tale signs of a misguided embrace. This type of class warfare garbage is simply not conservative. Nor is calling others names, when they have differing views or criticisms with the CELEBRITY being hyped amongst us. Conservatism is all about fair, rationale, objective, reason.

I would think that those Lefties would be a little more careful, however. I suspect that the bourgeoisie they are targeting contains more real fighters and gun owners than the folks they are trying to rile up. The chancellors’office of this college will be hard press to explain this proselytizing by Mr. Giljum.Moreover,if enough of the college alums stop sending checks to the college conjoined with appeals to many business leaders who will be outraged by this “professors”membership in the communist party,the fun raising abilities of the chancellor will be curtailed.The value of the chancellor vs.Mr.Giljums will determine his stay at this college.

Someone remind these “professors” what happened to “intellectuals” in Cambodia under communist rule. They were executed. Even wearing glasses was enough to end up in the Killing Fields.
It’s also interesting that it’s not the actual workers who talk like this. You know, the guys who work at companies throughout the country. It’s the people paid with taxpayer money. So called “civil servants”. That’s the really interesting part.

This is just wrong! I am all for freedom of speech but they are going too far. I agree with Mike191. People need to stand up and demand an end to the inflitration of radicals in our universities. This is not just another person’s opinion. They are proposing approval of violence to obtain objectives. The ends justify the means! I don’t think so!
