King Barack Issues Signing Statement: I Can Do What I Want With My Czars

King Barack believes he is above the law.
The radical far left president today issued a signing statement today indicating he won’t abide by a provision in the federal budget that just passed the House. The Chicago politician will do what he wants with his czars despite the law. Thank you very much.
Of course, Obama said he would never do this during the 2008 campaign while he was bashing Bush.

In a statement issued Friday night, President Obama took issue with some provisions in the budget bill – and in one case simply says he will not abide by it.
Last week the White House and congressional Democrats and Republicans were involved in intense negotiations over not only the size of the budget for the remainder of the FY2011 budget, and spending cuts within that budget, but also several GOP “riders,” or policy provisions attached to the bill.
One rider – Section 2262 — de-funds certain White House adviser positions – or “czars.” The president in his signing statement declares that he will not abide by it.
“The President has well-established authority to supervise and oversee the executive branch, and to obtain advice in furtherance of this supervisory authority,” he wrote. “The President also has the prerogative to obtain advice that will assist him in carrying out his constitutional responsibilities, and do so not only from executive branch officials and employees outside the White House, but also from advisers within it. Legislative efforts that significantly impede the President’s ability to exercise his supervisory and coordinating authorities or to obtain the views of the appropriate senior advisers violate the separation of powers by undermining the President’s ability to exercise his constitutional responsibilities and take care that the laws be faithfully executed.”
Therefore, the president wrote, “the executive branch will construe section 2262 not to abrogate these Presidential prerogatives.”

Mr. Constitutional “Professor” is certainly right that he can have the advisors of his choice, but he can’t have “advisors” who exercize regulatory powers without them being approved by the Senate. Moreover, he ought to realize that Congress holds the purse strings. So, Mr. Constitutional “Professor”, collect all the “advisors” you want (God knows you need plenty of advice), but don’t have them making regulations, and don’t expect Congress to pay their salaries.

Color me surprised. WTF signs a document with no intention of honoring it. Pretty well sums up his complete contempt, for the rule of law, Congress, the American people and our Constitution. More troubling who within the forces obligated to protect America from such treachery will do so.
Of course the Socialist traitors within the media, and on the Hill will applaud his actions. The man is without question the most dangerous POS to ever sit in the Oval Office. By 2012 almost any Republican will beat Obama. Unemployment is up again. Gas prices rise almost everyday. We are broke and involved in 3 wars. He is at 41% approval. Not good for an incumbent president. While he should be trying for the Indies he’s still trying to shore up his support with his base. What a laugh. Were you people on Mars this week? The Republican Party is an assortment of cowards. None of these things will ever happen. The House will not stand firm, they’ll just go along with everything Harry Reid and BO demand. We just watched it and we’ll see it again when the debt ceiling vote comes up. I wish I were wrong.

Paul Ryan needs to put three FY2012 appropriations bills together – defense, social security and medicare – and pass them through the house. Let the senate make their puts & takes, work out the details in conference and send them up to Obama. Once he signs them, all engines full stop. No continuing resolutions, no more appropriations.
Does anyone need the department of energy? Commerce? HHS? Education? Agriculture? FAA? FCC? FTC? EPA? DHS? No.

Let’s face it, he has usurped the Constitution and isn’t held accountable for it, so what good is the Constitution in protecting us from this? I don’t think he can go as far as stealing the election in 2012, and later move into extending his term limits but if our lawmakers don’t do something to stop him it wouldn’t shock me if he was able to pull it off.

There are no Constitutional provisions for recalling members of the legislative branch. Executive & Judicial officials, yes, but senators and representatives, no.
You can write him a letter, send him an email, call him on the phone and show up in his office. If you are one of his constituents, he will pay more attention than if you are not.
