Chicago Cardinal Suspends Obama’s Spiritual Adviser Father Pfleger From Catholic Church

Sen. Barack Obama told the Chicago Sun-Times in 2004 that he had three spiritual advisers: radical Jeremiah Wright, radical James Meeks, and radical Father Michael Pfleger.
But, radical Father Pfleger was more than a spiritual guide for Obama.
They also held protests together.
State Sen. Barack Obama and Fr. Michael Pfleger led a protest against the payday loan industry demanding the State of Illinois to regulate loan businesses in January 2000. (NBC 5 Week of January 3, 2000)
Father Pfleger was temporarily suspended from his church in 2008 after verbally attacking Senator Hillary Clinton from the altar of Obama’s radical church.
Now this…
Cardinal George suspended Father Pfleger, Barack Obama’s former crazy adviser.
The Chicago Tribune reported:
Citing what he called threats from the Rev. Michael Pfleger to leave the church, Cardinal Francis George has removed the outspoken priest from St. Sabina parish and has suspended his “sacramental faculties as a priest.”
Pfleger had publicly feuded with the cardinal about possibly being reassigned to Leo High School, telling a radio show recently that he would look outside the Catholic church if offered no other choice.
“If that is truly your attitude, you have already left the Catholic Church and are therefore not able to pastor a Catholic parish,” George wrote in a letter dated today.
“A Catholic priest’s inner life is governed by his promises, motivated by faith and love, to live chastely as a celibate man and to obey his bishop,” the cardinal continued. “Breaking either promise destroys his vocation and wounds the Church.

Good to see that Cardinal George at least understands that Pfleger is nothing more than a Marxist, black liberation theology radical that needs to go. Now, one last step, excommunication for Pfleger. He can then go on and be trained by Jeremiah Wright, Jr. Maybe he will go so some South American country where they know how to deal with dissidents.
Perhaps he can take with him Rev. Amos Brown, NAACP San Francisco, who just told Bill O’Reilly that all the references to Barack Hussein Obama, Jr. playing basketball is racist because everyone knows that basketball is a black sport because more blacks play basketbass than everyone else.

notsofunny, do you not remember when Cardinal Burke, former Archbishop of the St. Louis Archdiocese, stated publically that he would not allow John Kerry to receive Holy Communion while Kerry was in St. Louis in 2004? I do, and I remember that Kerry then changed his plans to attend Mass at the St. Louis Cathedral and attended a black church instead.
We need more clergy speaking out against these Democrats who subscribe to the death cult called “abortion”.
Now, hopefully San Francisco will get a Bishop that excommunicates Nancy Pelosi.

Yes I do remember. I actually sent an email to the diocese thanking him. I also know that a lot of the Bishops have backed down, esp in San Fran Pelosi’s parish and with the Kennedy’s.
We do need more clergy to speak out against public officials who think they can use the Church for their own political gains, then advance their causes; such as abortion. I have also sent an email to the diocese/Cardinal Francis George to let him know that I support his decision and will be praying for him.

you can’t kick pfleger out of the catholic church, he would have to be a catholic to do that. the only religion you could kick him out of is the marxist religion. you know the religion that closes the catholic churches in every country they take over. all that collar ever was to him was a front to hide his marxist activities behind. and he isn’t the only one in the catholic church.

He was suspended from the active ministry as a priest, not from the Catholic Church. By the way, Archbishop George ordained me as a priest. He is a good man.

It’s better late than never. Now hopefully he’ll leave – it’s hard to get rid of them. I met a woman at church lighting a candle who said she’s a feminist and believes in “spirit guides”. I asked her why she was in the Church as she apparently didn’t agree with the teachings. I ever so gently hinted that she should leave and perhaps join a universal church but doubt she will. Why do come to the Church when it’s obvious they don’t believe in the teachings one might wonder.

Now on to what is important. The Fake Birth Certificate.
First of all, the birth certificate that the White House released lists Obama’s birth as August 4, 1961. It also lists Barack Hussein Obama as his father. No big deal, right? At the time of Obama’s birth, it also shows that his father is aged 25 years old, and that Obama’s father was born in “Kenya, East Africa”. This wouldn’t seem like anything of concern, except the fact that Kenya did not even exist until 1963, two whole years after Obama’s birth, and 27 years after his father’s birth. How could have Obama’s father have been born in a country that did not yet exist? Up and until Kenya was formed in 1963, it was known as the “British East Africa Protectorate”. But, this is not the only thing that I found that just does not jive.
The other item that I looked into was the hospital that Obama was born in. On the birth certificate released by the White House, the listed place of birth is “Kapi’olani Maternity & Gynecological Hospital”. This cannot be, because the hospital(s) in question in 1961 were called “KauiKeolani Children’s Hospital” and “Kapi’olani Maternity Home”, respectively. The name did not change to Kapi’olani Maternity & Gynecological Hospital until 1978, when these two hospitals merged. How can this particular name of the hospital be on a birth certificate dated 1961 if this name had not yet been applied to it until 1978?
Go ahead, look it up. I am not talking crazy talk, these are the facts. Like I said, I thought that this was a non-issue until the actual certificate was released. Now that it has been released, of course I had to look into it. I have found these issues, now I know that something is up.

Now on to comment #30 and the misinformed Greg. From the 1880′s – 1920 Kenya was called British East Africa Protectorate. From 1920 – 1963 Kenya was shockingly called KENYA…or Kenya Colony. In 1964 the country gained it’s independence and has since been called the Republic of Kenya. However people have used the short name Kenya since 1920. At least PRETEND to do your homework rather than spew foolish statements to those dumb enough to take you at your word.

There are 480 000 catholic priests worldwide. Compared to the number of apostels at Jesus`times, when one of them betrayed him, we have 43.636 priests now who betray the Lord worldwide. Some of them secretly and some of them publicly. The Cardinal is doing right to send Pfleger out of the community. God bless him.
