Breaking: Senator Grassley Has Damning Documents on Obama’s Stimulus-Funded Gunrunner Project

Senator Charles Grassley (R-IA) has damning evidence that US ATF officials sanctioned or allowed the sale of assault weapons to straw purchasers. The agency was doing this on purpose. The government encouraged this. Two of the weapons ended up at the murder scene of a US border patrol agent in Arizona, Brian Terry. Obama says he and Holder knew nothing about Operation Gunrunner.
Senator Grassley spoke out on his investigation yesterday on the floor of the senate.
This is an amazing video.
Between 13 and 1,700 guns got away and that’s just what has turned up so far. Several of the guns have been connected to criminal acts. Obama’s failed stimulus plan helped fund the program.
The Washington Examiner reported:
Devastating e-mail exchanges between a senior official with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives in Phoenix, AZ and a cooperating gun shop operator have been revealed by Senator Charles Grassley in a letter sent late yesterday to Attorney General Eric Holder.
“In light of this new evidence,” Grassley tells Holder, “the Justice Department’s claim that the ATF never knowingly sanctioned or allowed the sale of assault weapons to straw purchasers is simply not credible.”

CBS News’ Sharyl Attkisson is reporting that the information contained in the e-mails is “damning.”
The e-mail exchange is with David Voth, group supervisor for ATF’s Phoenix Group VII. Voth is the agent who infamously sent an e-mail to other ATF agents, goading them into participating in the Gunrunner project without question, or to find a different job.

Grassley has been investigating this since the beginning of the year. Emails and other documents obtained through Freedom of Info Act have been very helpful to him. And for the past few weeks, George Gillette, Assistant SAC of the Phoenix ATF office has been lawyered-up and singing his heart out to the Grassley committee, hoping this will keep his own skin whole at the end. Gillette RAN Project Gunrunner for the Phoenix area and knows where all of the bodies are buried. He will probably know who at ATF approved the Project to begin with and how high up in the Justice Department it goes. Obama toady and gun-grabber, Ken Melson, acting head of ATF is now on the VERY “hot seat” with Gillette squealing. Melson has covered up for the Hussein Regime in the past, but will he now start ratting too, so as to avoid that little flip under the bus which Hussein does so well?

So the ATF encouraged the shop owner to sell guns to suspected criminal buyers, the guns and buyers got away, and 2 of the guns ended up on scene where Border Patrol agent Brian Terry was killed.
We have an illegal action perpetrated by the government resulting in the death of a government agent.
All rather than really try to close the border to illegal crossings. In addition to refusing to close the border to an ongoing invasion, the government is actively participating in it.

It seems that the only thing Washington, D.C. has to offer the American people is stupidity.
Mexico has been ripe for drug cartels for a long time. When Columbia finally got its act together, and ask the U.S. to help wipe out the drug lords, most of those lords were killed on put in prison for a long, long time. But it only made sense that the leiutenants of the cartels, would simply move to greener pastures. Mexico was the logical destination.
The drug routes had already been established in Mexico, and Mexico was a caste system between the peons and those who claimed strictly Spanish heritage (no Indian blood). Consequently, as Carlos Slim became the weathiest man in the world, as racial strife became even more severe with the peon against the Spaniard, those who were on the lower rung of society were open to working with the Columbian leiutenants who were now forming their own cartels in Mexico.
But Mexico is also one of the, if not the, most corrupt nations on the globe. The death of Kiki Camarena lead all the way to the top. The election of Vicente Fox made the situation even worse, with Fox’s turning his back on the drug cartels. Calderon is no better. I challenge anyone to name a Mexican president that hasn’t be absolutely corrupt.
Some in the DEA warned that this would happen. They warned that Mexico was ripe for the drug cartels since the drug routes had already been established there. NO ONE LISTENED. Mexico’s Fox turned a blind eye, wanting only to see his destitute migrate to the U.S., so that Mexico didn’t have to assume responsibility for the poor in his own country. Since Mexico is the U.S.’s second largest supplier of crude, Washington, under Clinton and Bush, also turned a blind eye to what was happening. Hense, the Gunwalker Program under the pretense that all of Mexico’s internal problems were the fault of the U.S. and our lax gun laws. Pandering for oil is putting in mildly.
But the idiots in charge of the program thought they were smarter than the drug lords in Mexico. They’re not. It was assumed, stupidly, that those guns allowed to be walked across the border would wind up in the hands of the drug lords, and not given to low level peons to be stuffed into a warehouse for future use. But that is exactly what happened. The drug lords do not get their hands dirty. They only run the show. Gotti was not personally a hit man. He only hired hit men to do his dirty work.
Now, we have a dead DEA agent and a dead Border Patrol. And those guns that were used in those killings were walked across the border under the Obama administration. But the DoJ is as dishonest, and corrupt, as any drug lord in Mexico and will never admit that the program was escalated under Obama. And let’s not forget the weapons supplied to the American trained Mexican military that has seen desertion in half its ranks. Did the ATF think those deserters turned in their weapons when they joined the drug cartels?
Congress Mike McCaul is trying to get the administration to declare the Mexican drug cartels “terrorists.” If he can do that, it gives the U.S. greater latitude in dealing with the cartels. The DoJ has refused, along with the administration. And Mike McCaul is the only Congressman telling it like it is, pointing out that while Calderon feels he has the right to stand in front of Congress and bash the U.S., Calderon is unwilling to take the necessary steps to eliminate the drug cartels in his country, ala Columbian style. I would suggest someone track Calderon’s money.
We are being invaded by a violent army and Janet Napolitano continues to tell us how much safer we are on the southern border. Tell that to the wife of the dead Arizona rancher. Tell that to Terry’s widow. Tell that to the employees of El Paso who were in city hall when it was riddled by bullets coming from across the Rio Grand. Tell that to the people who were caught in the middle during a drug cartel shoot out on Interstate 10 in Texas.

Senator Grassley is mistaken to accept the justice department’s stated reason for this project. Senator Grassley stated the “reason” for the operation was to catch a “big fish” by watching where the guns went. This is not true. The guns were being transferred to Mexico. U.S. agents don’t have authority to conduct operations in Mexico unilaterally.
If the reason for the operation was to track criminals in Mexico, then the Mexican authorities would have been notified so they could watch the guns move. Holder’s agency, in coordination with state, kept this operation secret from the Mexicans.
The Mexican government is furious. You may have seen stories in the MSM about the U.S. Ambassador being kicked out of Mexico. The reason the MSM gave was false, in order to continue the coverup of the operation for Obama. The reason they kicked the ambassador out was this operation. The Mexican government wants U.S. agents extradited to face charges.
This operation was developed after Holder, Clinton, and Obama began complaining in March and April of 2009 that they needed tougher gun control laws because military weapons were being sold to Mexican drug cartels. You may recall that. It was a lie then. Then this operation was put in place and the U.S. government became the facilitator of military weapons to the Mexican drug cartels. 100s of Mexicans have been murdered with these weapons.
No Senator Grassley, the purpose of this operation was to cause the murder rate in Mexico to skyrocket. It did. In the fresh blood of these murder victims, Obama, Holder, and Clinton were going to call for more stringent gun control laws in the U.S.
Holder, Obama, and Clinton allowed what they probably consider to be dirty Mexicans to be murdered. They are as guilty as the killers they let have these guns.
DOJ lawyers had the gun shops sign contracts and waivers too.
Any denial coming out of Holder, Clinton, or Obama will be a lie.
All three will face their Lord someday and have to explain this. It is pure evil.

We all know about Pablo Escobar, and the Columbia drug cartels, but how much have you ever read about the wealtiest drug lord of them all, Amado Carrillo Fuentes? And where did he earn all his millions of $$? He was the head of the Juarez, Mexico drug cartel, pretty much ignored during the Clinton administration as we put pressure on Columbia.
But we, in the border states, know the truth. Mexico is no friend, any more so than Saudi Arabia, so we will continue to kiss Mexican ass for their oil. Think about this: a neighboring school district has a student body that is 49% Hispanic out of almost 9,000 students. Of that 49%, 23% required English as A Second Language courses. Do the math. One in every 9 students can’t speak English. And they wonder why our school taxes are so damn high?
These kids are not coming to the U.S. with an American mindset. They are learning Pan-American politics from their parents.

I referenced Armado Fuentes for only one reason; it shows how the problem of drug lords in Mexico have been ignored by every administration since Clinton. Escobar was killed in the late ’90′s. Fuentes died on a plastic surgeon’s table in ’97.
And trialdog could not be more correct. The entire concept of Gunwalker was to show that our own 2nd Amendment rights needed to be abolished in order to protect Mexico from those of us who believe in that Amendment. But the dark side is never mentioned. One Texas border sheriff has already told his fellow countians that he doesn’t have the man power to protect them against the invaders, so they need to arm themselves. And we are.
Illegal immigration facilitates the drug lords. They pay cayotes to bring illegals in, all of them with backpacks full of drugs. It is a win-win situation for Mexicans.
