ANOTHER Violent Democrat-Communist Arrested for Threatening to Kill Maine Republican Governor

A self-professed liberal democrat and communist (There’s a difference?) was arrested this week for sending threatening letters to politicians including Maine Republican Governor Paul LePage, Wisconsin Republican Governor Scott Walker and Republican Rep. Steve King of Iowa.
Democrat communist Michael Thomas was arrested last week.
The Online Sentinel reported:
A Portland man charged with sending threatening letters to Gov. Paul LePage admitted to agents that he sent those and other threatening letters to national political figures, including Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker and U.S. Sens. Olympia Snowe and Susan Collins, according to testimony Wednesday in U.S. District Court.
Authorities also found a gun and an ammunition clip in Michael Thomas’ desk drawer when he was arrested Friday, FBI Special Agent Pamela Flick testified; and Thomas told her that if they had showed up later, he would have launched a shootout with police.
LePage received three letters attributed to Thomas, saying among other things that the author was willing to sacrifice his life to shoot the governor. Thomas told agents on Friday that he would follow through on the threats if he had the means, said Assistant U.S. Attorney Stacey Neumann.
“This is escalating behavior. This is a very dangerous individual,” she said. “The defendant has done nothing but instill fear in the victim and in the community.”
Following a 90-minute hearing, Judge John Rich III ruled that Thomas, 50, poses a danger to the community and will be held until trial. Thomas sat passively throughout the hearing and showed no emotion as he was led from the hearing room in handcuffs and ankle shackles.
…Thomas admitted sending threatening letters similar to those sent to LePage to U.S. Rep. Steve King, R-Iowa, and U.S. Sen. Joe Lieberman, I-Conn., as well as Walker, Snowe and Collins, she said. Thomas described himself as a liberal Democrat and a communist and said he is a strong proponent of gun rights.
Don’t expect this story to make many headlines.

Liberal democrats and communists do not support gun rights other than the “right” of the government to confiscate them all. Sounds to me like this was an incident in the making intended to throw blame on the Right and add a great deal of fuel to the “confiscate all guns” train of thought.

it occurs to me that conservatism may very well be on a pretty solid roll, both because we are all so wonderful, of course, but more because the sheer scale of the catastrophe that liberal economics and leftist thinking in general has wrought becomes more and more obvious, as does the absurdity of ever making Barack Obama president.
The House will stay GOP, the Senate will be tough for the Dems to hold, a likely GOP gain, and that leaves Mr. Obama in defense of the White House. Do the math. No walkover this(!), not by a long shot, but you get my point.
And if there is such a scenario, the GOP will be on fire to see that we never get to this point again.
My point? That if this not unlikely scenario unfolds, it is extremely likely that we will see real and genuine political violence, possibly on a large scale, from the left like we saw in the oh-so-loathsome 1965-1975 era. I think we can pretty much count on it.
I recently came across the movie ‘Patty Hearst’ with the late and lamented Natasha Richardson the other day, and during much of the dialogue, was just struck by my excruciating loathing and boundless contempt for SLA / Weatherman type revolutionary scumbags, and their patently self-serving willingness to use the concept of “the people” as an excuse for their joyous leap into terrorism and societal destruction, etc. Don’t even get me started on these insectile creatures.
But they will come back, mark my words, and they will likely ally with Islamism when they do. How I would like to see such people dealt with, and what will actually be the best and most effective way deal with them, are likely two different things. But some people might want to start thinking along those lines, ’cause I’m bettin’ they are on the way, as the fiscal realities that the sympathizers of just those very such people have foisted on us come home to roost. And that freight train is comin’ on at full steam.

Have you not noticed that they don’t have to come back because they are already here – see “Senator” John Kerry and Obama’s buddy William Ayers for starters. And there is no “will likely ally with Islamism” about it. They’ve already done that, something that is made painfully obvious just by watching many (if not most) popular TV shows, even (or especially) TV shows aimed at right-leaning conservatives like NCIS, which makes constant apologies for both islam and is very negative about Israel.

Why do so many “democrat communists” have such a dead look in their eyes and look so miserable? I know that must be a mug shot, but I bet he looks that way all the time.
I am a single mother with an eleven year old daughter (who has a red belt with a black stripe in Tae Kwon-Do). Her instructor asked me if I wouldn’t like to take class with her, and I said no, I’ll just shoot them. I am so glad now that we took the steps we did starting about five years ago, it looks like our skills might come in handy someday soon.

Just go back up to his picture and click on his name. I didn’t see a Union Affiliation, but that is only because he has been on disablility since 2002 for mental illness. Do read it to the end, where his attorney pleads for him to be held on house arrest because that would be the compassionate thing to do. He has quite the history.
