59% of Americans HATE Barack Obama’s Tax the Rich Plan

It was a real snoozer.
Obama pushed his plan to cut the budget by raising taxes and ending the Bush tax cuts.
Americans hate the idea.
Reuters reported:

Weighing in on the Washington budget debate, 59 percent of Americans prefer to cut existing programs while 30 percent would rather raise taxes to reduce deficit spending.

And they prefer to cut defense spending rather than programs that affect them more directly like Medicare and Social Security.

65% of American voters don’t believe for a second that the government will cut spending until after 2012… when Obama retires.

…and 53% voted for the current “change”,

…then at least 23% have either changed their mind, or had their collective heads up their collective backsides when they voted in ’08.

I doubt that they’ll admit to either.

A few of Obama’s 2011 budget items… or should we say “gifts” to the globalists, courtesy of American taxpayers, in order to collapse our economy:

$63 billion – US Global Health Initiative.
$54.1 billion – USAID to other countries for FY 2011 – President Obama already sent $173.5 billion for international/foreign assistance ($90.6 billion in 2010 – a 60% increase compared to FY2008; $82.9 billion in 2009 – a 47% increase compared to FY2008).
$30 billion – of the $100 billion per year for UN Climate Change Policy; the UN admitted global warming is about wealth redistribution, not climate change policy.
$8 billion – US pays to IMF for Greece Bailout.
$2 billion – to Brazil for OFFSHORE OIL DRILLING!!!!
$1.9 billion – International Agriculture Programs.
$1 billion – to Mexico so that they can drill in the Gulf (while Obama caused 23,000 Americans to lose their job because of his ban on US drilling in the Gulf).
$665.7 million – International Family Planning & Reproductive Health Programs.
$147.3 million – US pays Brazil each year in cotton subsidies to keep its mouth shut.
$5.96 million – U.S. Ambassadors Fund for Cultural Preservation 2010 Awards (i.e. mosque restoration overseas). NOTE: Section 205.1(d) of title 22 of the Code of Federal Regulations prohibits USAID funds from being used for the rehabilitation of structures to the extent that those structures are used for “inherently religious activities.”
The above list alone represents $510.82 billion… over half a trillion dollars. Keep this in mind when President Obama and Congress tell us they’ll be able to cut $300 billion from Medicare – a program that all of us pay into and have paid into our entire working life – or when the President proposes a tax increase to take more of America’s wealth to “spread it around” to the UN/global elites in order to weaken America and ensure an economic collapse.

If someone works hard, becomes super rich, got no issue with that

now if their company — usually that is how they get rich — fails, NO BAILOUT, let it fail, no special deals, no special TARPS, etc.
let failed companies fail!

if its a company that is salvagable, investors will buy it and build it up again, but don’t spread the money used to bail out failed companies over the taxpayers.
and if these investors get even more filthy rich because of their investment, then good for them, (and of they need to pay for their taxes etc), but I don’t believe in squeezing the rich to pay for more spending.

Yep, I’m one of those terrible evil rich people. My parents worked their entire lives, worked their asses off. Managed to save some money and eventually did pretty well. Then they died. Left me (among other investments) a couple of IRA’s. Now taxable again of course, now that they left them to me. So I just finished writing out checks to state and federal for 15+k.

Parents worked all their lives to earn and pay taxes on what they left me – now taxable again. Just so these creeps in Washington can spend more, have a bigger ego, more power, and a nice comfy office and retirement and perks. When the servants become the served….

A fair portion of the rest of my inheritance is going towards weapons, and survival gear for when this government finally collapses in on itself due to the shear weight of it. They won’t tax what is mine for a third time, and that’s a promise.

in this country the people in government were suppose to serve the citizens. unfortunely we seem to have elected a bunch of people to public office that think the citizens are suppose to serve them. the only legitimate taxation is that which is used to pay for the services that government provides US. anything more than that is tyranny. rich people have no obligation to pay more in taxes than what is necessary for the politicans to pay for the services provide. this system which liberal america created by which people are taxed to provide the polticans with money to dole out to keep themselves permanently entrenched in power is tyranny. this has led to a multitude if ills in this country: the career politican, the public servent as a ruling class, the loss of the right to the fruits of our labor, spendaholic politicans who squander the wealth and income of present and future generations, the loss of a government under the control of the citizens. the only way we are going to regain our freedom is to take away the weapon that the politicans use to control us; our income. this class warfare tax the rich strategy is just another attempt by liberals to gain complete control of the income of the american people. the power to tax is the power to tyrannize. tax repeal now!
