UN Security Council Votes for No-Fly Zone Over Libya

The UN Security Council just voted 10-0 to authorize a no-fly zone over Libya.
The Financial Times reported:
he UN Security Council has voted in favour of a no-fly zone over Libya.

Before diplomats voted 10-0 for some kind of military action, with five nations, including Russia, China and Germany, abstaining, Libyan leader Muammer Gadaffi told rebels: “We are coming tonight . . . there won’t be any mercy.”

Col Gaddafi’s forces bombed the outskirts of Benghazi, a rebel stronghold in the east of Libya, Reuters reported. In a radio address.
