Obama Administration Refuses to Call Germany Attack an Act of Terrorism

The White House today still refused to call the attack in Germany an act of terrorism.
This is despite the fact that the killer screamed “Allahu Akbar” when he shot two US airmen dead.

The killer’s Facebook page is littered with references to Holy War, hatred of ‘non believers’ and has his favourite saying – ‘may the eyes of the cowards never sleep’ – by Khalid Bin Walid, an ancient Islamic fighter who united Arabia for the first time.
The photo is from Arid Uka’s Facebook page – once listed under his real name but changed recently to that of Abu Reyann, his chosen ‘warrior’ name. (Daily Mail)

I understand that the administration is preparing an official apology to Timothy McVeigh’s family for the inappropriateness of prior administrations deeming that lone wolf and his left-wing nutbag partner “terrorists.” Not only are the actions of a non-state entity impossible of consideration as terrorism (as such actions are the exclusive domain of a sovereign, since everybody knows terrorism is based on symmetric conflict), but as Terror Czar William Ayers correctly observes: “One man’s terrorist is another man’s freedom fighter.”
Nothing but refreshing courage and determination comes out of this administration!

With the elections looming, the Obama administration simply cannot afford to allow anti-Muslim sentiments to grow. Far too many people believe Obama may be a Muslim, or may at least sympathize with Muslims, and every act that gets labeled as Muslim Terrorism will make his re-election more difficult. So, brace yourselves. We can expect a concerted effort on the part of both the media, and Obama, to play these incidents down. We simply cannot go into an election year with a slew of “Muslim Terrorist” stories.
It makes me wonder though …. when a Radical Muslim like this guy can attack our soldiers screaming “Allahu Akbar” and not be labeled as a Muslim Terrorist, just how far do they think they can stretch the camouflage? Will a “defective fuel tank” be blamed when a car bomb explodes in New York? Will it be called a “nuclear reactor accident” when Israel is attacked by Iran? It happens daily. Loading freezes. I try to hit X on the browser. I get a message saying “this program is not responding”, and I click “end now”. I try again. GP crashes my firefox again. EVERY DAY THIS HAPPENS. And only on Gateway Pundit, of the hundreds of sites that I visit. I found a workaround by going to polurls.com, which is a feed where I can click individual GP posts, and get right to them. But this should not be, and I don’t know why.
This has been going on since the move to RightNetwork. I have noscript. I have tried allowing all. I have tried allowing none. I have tried allowing, incrementally, each and every separate script that is being run on this site, from google analytics to facebook to sitemeter to ytimg to youtube to blogads to fbcdn to doubleclick to twitter, just to see if one of those scripts is crashing my browser.
No other site has EVER done this, and yet GP does it daily, multiple times.
I will NOT USE INTERNET EXPLORER. NEVER. NOR CHROME.
It’s not my browser. It’s not noscript. IT’S THE GP SITE ITSELF.
JIM, can you get in touch with the I.T. people at Rightnetwork and try and figure this out? This is quite frustrating.

German police has already stated that they are essentially investigating a terrorist attack. Even the German media, which is known for its 100% obedience to political correctness, is speaking about a terrorist attack.

It isn’t the site. If it was then everyone would have the same problem. Try clearing your cache and wiping out all of your cookies. Make sure you are not on GP when you do that. Then restart your machine, restart your browser and clear out the cache/cookies again before you go anywhere.
Also, check for updates to your browser (which one are you using? I have no trouble with either Firefox or Safari) and double check to make sure that you have the latest Flash installed.

I see it all the time. It’s a complete mistranslation, for one. Also, it seems to be a coordinated effort to lump the jihadis in with anyone else who believes in God.
By this time next year, all the TV stations will be saying “The suspect allegedly shouted ‘Praise the Lord!’ before he allegedly fired the shots….”
