Barack Obama may not have mentioned “rebels” or “war” in his Libya speech on Monday but that didn’t stop the US from launching 22 Tomahawk missiles at Libyan targets in the last 24 hours.

Kinetic Military Operations continue…

American Glob reported on the latest acts of non-war:

NATO is due on Thursday to take over from the US military the command of the coalition air campaign, launched under a UN resolution to protect civilians.

As part of “Operation Odyssey Dawn,” the US military also launched 22 Tomahawk cruise missiles in the past 24 hours, bringing to 214 the total number of missile strikes since the operation began on March 19, the Pentagon said.

    I LOVE it when the Post-National Socialists now defend Blood for Oilbama by saying that he’s only doing like Bush did. Didn’t they tell us that their Obamessiah would usher in a new millenium and free us from the anachronisms of the aevil Bush era?!     Steve; Those of us (53%) who actually PAY taxes (unlike the parasite class) have done the math! We’re borrowing money from China (Japan can no longer afford to loan us money) to explode Libya (or Libia for those of you in the WH) in a kinetic military action that is illegal.

    This is going to get very ugly very soon. And NATO doesn’t want to get bogged down in Libya, which can very well happen.

    As long as you’re shooting missiles from far away, things are easy, but the moment you have boots on the ground, things get messy.

    I wonder how much of our money will be given to Libya for “re-construction”.
