Good Grief… Claire McCaskill Failed to Pay Over $200,000 in Taxes on Plane

Liberal Senator Claire McCaskill (D-MO) is in worse trouble than we thought.

Claire McCaskill’s plane problems just got worse.

Not only was Claire McCaskill charging taxpayers for a plane she owned,

The Missouri Senator also failed to pay $200,000 in taxes on the plane.

Sen. Claire McCaskill disclosed to reporters today that she failed to pay more than $200,000 dollars in personal property taxes to the state of Missouri on a plane that she and her husband co-own.

The Missouri Democrat has vowed to pay back the taxes immediately.

Why she isn’t immediately frog-marched off the jail is beyond me. I can’t imagine the consequences if I “forgot” to pay over $200,000 in taxes.

It’s as if you or I robbed a bank and – if and only if we got caught – we agree to pay the money back and then – magically – all is right. No consequences. No penalties. No jail time. And thats’ only if we got caught. How long was Aire-Claire’s charade going to continue?

Funny, I just read the story and was headed here with the link. It is actually closer to $300,000 she owes in back taxes – $287,000 to be precise for taxes going all the way back through 2007. Now she says that she will “sell the damned plane”. I wonder if she’ll pay income taxes on the proceeds?

Didn’t pay property taxes on the plane for FOUR YEARS? What, the county doesn’t need the money enough to confiscate the plane and sell it on E-Bay? You know if a little person hadn’t paid property taxes on anything in four years, there’d be liens and confiscations. I really am sick of our political aristocrat betters.

I moved from MO to IL in early January 2004. St Louis County tracked me down and demanded I pay personal property taxes for the entire year even though I lived in the county only a few days. They would NOT prorate the amount. They threatened me with legal action. All we hear now are crickets chirping……cue the crickets someone……….Guess I’m not a member of the Ruling Class.

That’s the way personal property taxes work. The assessment is as of a certain date, most often January 1 (and that includes Missouri). You could have moved on January 2nd, and still owed St. Louis County property taxes for the entire year.

This is unacceptable. I’ve heard this skank using the most ridiculous hyperbole about “the rich don’t pay their fair share!!” and the like.. This is the worst form of crime imaginable. We entrust these people with a huge amount of power, and expect they will do whats best for our country.

In better days not long ago, a member of the ruling class who was caught in a situation like this would be drawn and quartered. It was part of the deal.. you get access to all the pleasures of life the ‘little people’ can’t afford… but if caught being greedy and wanting even more than they were given, IT WAS TREASON.

Thats how corruption was stamped out for thousands of years. Its time to stomp out treason the old fashioned way…. starting with Aire-Claire and a public crucifixion. Air it on pay ‘on-demand’ and help pay down the debt with the proceeds.

My heart swells at the thought.

How is that any different from John Kerry “who fought in Vietnam” on his $500,000 taxes that he didn’t pay on his yacht, instead he parked it a state over to avoid taxes he gladly imposes on everyone else. Charlie Rangel forgot to claim $1.3 million in income and a few million more in business, just a tiny, tiny mistake, could happen to any liberal. Most of the cabinet of this regime were behind on taxes when appointed, it’s almost a requirement. Hypocrites who want to steal OUR wealth and liberty through taxes, but doesn’t want to pay their own share, but don’t worry, they are for the little people. It’s truly pathetic and easy to raise taxes on the middle class, push for more taxes on the so-called wealthy, push for more regulation and government control when you do what you want and don’t pay your own share. Gene Taylor was the only real exception that I’ve seen in the last decade to this, but the culture of corruption is among us, very easy to identify where it starts, anyone with a (D) next to their name is guilty until proven innocent.

We had an outstanding older gent as speaker at our Patriot Mtg this evening. He served in the Justice Dept, FBI, head of the state Repub party, etc. A real walking encyclopedia. The stories he told about just how screwed we are would make you cry. There’s so much corruption we DON’T hear about, and the perversion in the Founders’ plan for our American Experiment went awry with the advent of the Progressive Party!

Whatever you do, stay active and strong in the Tea Party. Get involved in local and state politics. The rodentia like ClaireBear HAVE to go if we’re ever going to restore our Republic. Keep talking to neighbors and friends about the Tea Party and explain just what’s going on to the uninformed/clueless.

Claire was State Auditor of Missouri from 1999 to 2007. I bet she did a great job as auditor!

In MO the bill to pay your personal property tax is attached to the bottom of the personal property declaration instructions. In the instructions it says personally owned aircraft must also be reported and that IS UNDERLINED! Oh, I can see now how she made the mistake.

I have to admit that it is ridiculous to have to pay personal property taxes on items that you have already paid sales tax for at the time of purchase BUT it is a MO state statute.

Wait…what about the green (NOT) implications of all the fuel that jet burns as opposed to flying commercial? The Democrats want us all to conserve water, gas, electricity, CO2 and everything else, but them…..no way…they fly in corporate jets that burn huge amounts of fuel per passenger per flight. Lets have someone who knows how much fuel a plane like that burns tell us what her carbon footprint is now.
