A firebomb was thrown at an elderly woman at a pro-life event in Montana on Thursday.
LIfeNews reported:
A homemade incendiary device was thrown at one of the participants of the 40 Days for Life pro-life prayer vigil at an abortion business in Kalispell, Montana on Thursday night.
The woman walked on the public sidewalk near the abortion business when an unidentified person threw the device — akin to a “Molotov cocktail” — in her direction. The woman did not see either the firebomb nor the assailant it exploded on the sidewalk behind her, making a loud popping noise like a big firecracker as it burst into flame. Fortunately, the woman was not hurt in the incident.
After she regained her composure, the victim called Karen Trierweiler, coordinator of the 40 Days prayer vigils in Kalispell at the All Family Health Care abortion center, over to her.
After a lengthy delay, a Kalispell police officer arrived. However, according to officials with the Thomas More Society, a pro-life legal group that is helping the participants, instead of inspecting the bomb debris or calling evidence technicians to the scene, the officer remarked that police could never get prints or other evidence from the bomb’s remains and said he would call the city’s garbage service to dispose of all the debris.
The officer then said that the 40 Days prayer vigil participants should expect this kind of reaction if they’re protesting at the abortion business.

If we can’t rely on the police to investigate something like this, then what? Us conservatives waited too long to fight, the GOP attacks Palin more than Obama, and now we are just overwhelmed with the left in power everywhere. Truly sad.
Dave-O commented:
Sooooo, in the investigative officer’s professional opinion, “The victim asked for it?”
MrGoodWench commented:
I wonder how that police department treats victims of rape and domestic abuse ??

Thought Montana was a right to carry state. Where are the pictures. surely there was one cell phone in the crowd. The deputy was right in taking no action on the absent information in the ccomplaint
Daniel commented:
And yet, no one gets his badge number? Nor complains to the preecinct captain?
Come on, people, get with the program.

Yeah, if cremation is inevitable, ya might as well lie back and enjoy it.
Hey, I feel just as strongly about Obama’s presidency as this guy feels about right-to-life. Okay if I napalm his limo?
Or is that only acceptable in Montana? I mean, he may not ever get there. No beaches. Golfing sucks.
“I believe the Kalispell police acted stupidly.”
Granny commented:
The “policeman” in question must not watch enough crime tech shows. Of course you can get fingerprints off broken glass. Nincompoop. I hope they filed a complaint against him.

Pray to God this officer is never send to investigate any act of terrorism.

Also, if that cop ever gets shot in the line of duty I will be the first one to say he should have expected that with the kind of work he was in.
JerryFine commented:
Hopefully someone got the badge number of that worthless corrupt piece of sh** and will pursue action that results in his termination.

If you act out now you play right into the communist/socialist plans! They have their kenyan fraud/communist/ muslim buddy on their side. Don’t forget Holder the “my people’ moron! Patience….We pick our time and our place.
Stuart commented:
Having dealt with a couple of Kalispell’s “finest” during their off duty hours, all I can say is if the rest of the force is like the two that I met, Kalispell’s finest aren’t.
Just a personal observation.

Has anyone seen this?

Is it so hard to conduct an investigation?
Rob Crawford commented:
That officer should be fired. Then charged with obstructing an investigation.
Rose commented:
I would say the police action in this case is simply the Cost of PATRIOTS NAPPING IN THE POT OF BOILING WATER WHILE THEY LET THE MARXISTS PLAY!
Who do you expect UNION POLICE to side with, THESE DAYS!
The question is, WHAT ARE THE CITIZENS GOING TO DO ABUT IT?
Just keep paying the bills and sleeping on????????????
NC Cop commented:
“Is it so hard to conduct an investigation?”
No, it’s not. It’s only hard if you’re a lazy a$$ or if you don’t agree, politically, with the protesters.
Between Wisconsin and now this, I’m embarrassed to tell people what I do for a living.
I tell them I play piano in a whorehouse.

#14 – Ginger, looks like they are determined to leave us one of two options – take it or turn out for Real Civil War – and I don’t think they intend to wait for 2012 and risk losing more ground in DC.
Frank H commented:
Someone should have advised the police officer that if this keeps up, and if the authorities allow it to continue, then eventually, we will shoot back.
Ginger commented:

I know but lets take it as long as we can. They are doing this so Barry the Kenyan fraud can call Martial Law which he probably will any way and closer to November 2012. I hear he can call martial law up to six months at a time.

Seems the police in Montana and Wisconsin are on the same page. They cannot be trusted.

Marshall law. Think about it. It’s not much different than the “UN black helicopters” back in the day. A paper tiger. Could he do it? Sure. In the end would be ineffective and unproductive. There is as much divide within any of our security forces as there is in the general population.
Marshal law isn’t the concern, it’s war that insues. It will be long and protracted as there are many outside influences including governments that will have an interest in prolonging the event.

Planned Parenthood buildings are loaded with cameras outside, like most abortion centers.
The police should demand the tapes from that evening.
A few years ago in Ballwin, MO, an elderly man sat in a chair during our Life Chain and was nailed with a “big gulp.” The car sped away and we couldn’t get the plate.
The Ballwin police officer said, “Next time, move back farther.” Any further back and we’d get run down in the parking lot. I told the cop, “NEXT TIME, WE’RE DEMANDING A POLICE PRESENCE.”

I worked with Karen Trieweiller, many years ago and in an enterprise unrelated to the activities this story relates. Pray that she and her “team” continue, undaunted, to pursue their objectives. Prayers are always welcome.

No one deserves to get fire bombed for protesting. Not unionistas in WI or pro-lifers in Montana.
Old One commented:
When the police & the courts fail to enforce the law a regime is neat its end. By the way forget the getting badge number. Cops trade badges, change car license plates, and name tags as a matter of routine. Get the nuber painted on the police car or motorcycle. The police man in the car have to sign out the car by the number painted on it, . Here in lalaland (California) police badge, name tag & license plate trading has been routine since the 1960s to protect the far too numerous bad apples’ misconduct.
SirKnob commented:
The FBI has an entire laboratory devoted to recovering of fingerprints through UV color light. Recovering fingerprints from glass that has been in a fire (not melted) or exposed to heat is very easy to accomplish, as the heat burns the fingerprint into the glass. The officer was a liar or a moron.

If that’s the case, then i demand that the guy who killed off Goerge Tiller the baby killer be released from prison IMMEDIATLY. I mean, after all, the potential to be murdered is just a job risk if you’re an abortion provider./sarc
Somehow, I can’t imagine that liberals would like it if that statement was turned and used against them. It’s just a job risk. Just deal with it.
