Just so you know… The Donald is not backing down.
Donald Trump doubled down tonight. The bombastic conservative business leader told Geraldo Rivera,
“There is a chance that he was not born in this country. I don’t want to be right on this issue… I just want to see his birth certificate.”
Trump also said his conservative friends told him to drop the issue but that he believes it is too important.

frankly, I never thought much of this issue, but I did research online, there was never a bc released, a certificate of live birth was released, but those things mean nothing except that you were born alive, it can be obtained much later.
if a man is sending men and women into harm’s way, then the community organizer (and any other candidate) should be first in line proving that he is constitutionally qualifed to be CIC, and yet he is spending 2 million a year hiding this. It makes no sense to me, and so with Trump explaining things in such a calm, polite way, I agree with him, release the long form birth certificate, if there is nothing to hide, then release it.
we all know if this was sarah palin, CNN, ABC, NBC, See-BS, NPR, NYT all would be demanding night and day for this.
as a candidate, you are asking voters to vote for you to hire you, so people have doubts, then show that document to show you are qualified to be hired.

As for many of us out here, we have to go through background investigations periodically for our work. I could almost guarantee you, Obama couldn’t even pass one of those if he hadn’t been elected to high office, given his associates. A birth certificate is the LEAST he can do, given the minimum requirements of the constitution. It is very insulting he won’t even just get this over with, and in fact, will continue to spend millions of dollars to keep it concealed. I don’t stay up late at night about it, but something is wrong with this picture.

If you mean by possibly splitting the conservative vote, then Trump very well could help Barky get re-elected. If you mean that pushing Barky to present his long form birth certificate will help him be re-elected, then you make no sense.

Nah. Trump’s a smart guy and a clever businessman, as we all know. A good businessman is also an opportunist. I suspect Trump’s read the recent polls, seen the number of voters who either have doubts about Barky’s eligibility or are unsure continue to grow while the number who are sure continue to shrink, read up on why we have doubts or are unsure, and saw a potential base of voters. Alternatively, he’s not serious about running in 2012 but is playing the game until the primaries, to which he won’t be nominated to run for the candidacy and knows it, strictly for publicity. And if he manages to push Barky into removing the seal on his documents and opening his past up for voters to see and know, then all the better for him and for us.
Whatever his true motives and reason for driving this issue, I appreciate him lending credibility to it and forcing the lamestream media to stop with the ridicule and discuss it seriously.

Trump is courting birthers and everyone who has asked legitimate questions about BO’s past and history. People who ask these questions are ridiculed by the left and the media. Trump is going to snap up these people as supporters to get a foot hold for the 2012 primaries. The man is fearless.

The COLB was never “released” anywhere other than online. No one other than a couple of random (highly partisan) bloggers ever actually “saw” the thing. There are questions about the “raised seal”– it’s not raised, it’s incised–pushed down not up. And how did two random bloggers get a copy of it when even the Hawaii governor couldn’t? LL, I have thought the same thing since I read his “Dreams from my Father” – no doubt that is how he got into college and got some scholarship money – claiming to be a foreign student and probably a muslim. His ‘single mom’ had no money to send him to such expensive schools. Now he wants to hide his college records. Doesn’t anyone who knew him as a student at one of his colleges remember whether or not he claimed to be a foreign student or a muslim? I can’t believe someone doesn’t recall this guy in that light. As long as WTF spends money preventing the documents being made public, he will be seen as suspect in a cover up. Why? The American people are tired of the gaming perpetrated by those in office no matter which Party.
Two years ago this was a non issue for me, WTF’s handling of the matter has now changed my view. Pelosi and her we have to pass the bill BS sealed the deal as far as trusting her or him on his certification process. The foreign guys Obama hung with in college would be the types to pay exam takers and get transcript mills to make the papers they would need to get accepted, so all that paperwork would be worth looking at, since Obama does not show ANY shred of brilliance in academics that would normally be necessary to make the Harvard cut. There is no valid reason to hide these sorts of things unless there is something to hide.

There is only ONE vital piece of information on Obama’s birth certificate – the name of his father. Trump is not helping matters. Obama’s eligibility does not rest on WHERE he was born because his father was not a US citizen which makes Obama a DUAL citizen by birth – meaning that he is a naturalized citizen if indeed he ever bothered to claim his US citizenship at all and thus not eligible for the presidency.

The BC issue is interesting but ancillary to an obvious deficiency of birthright.
Here’s a few facts overlooked the past couple of years;
1. Dual citizenship is incompatible with the office. John Jay said as much to General Washington, the modern State Department has reservations, and it is currently held that those who have naturalized are ineligible. The argument is premised that though some may have sworn an oath abjuring a foreign power, they are still a product of thier respective alien culture (innate allegiance). It is recognized that the power of the government stems from a Sovereign People (substance of our Republic) and not the King’s land, a concept we renounced in the late 18th century along with perpetual allegiance.
2. There is a disconnect between what the authors of the 1868 14th Amendment intended and that of the 1898 U.S. v Wong Kim Ark court. Folks are confused as to what “born” meant prior to the decision to what it inferred afterwards regarding “natural born Citizens”. The amendment authors clearly included the allegiance and nationality of the parents as an important caveat whereas the court considered it irrelevant.
3. I challenge anyone to find precedence for VPs and Presidents born after the adoption of the Constitution that were not a product of 2 American parents and born within the jurisdiction (other than Arthur, who was only known recently to have been born British) as knowingly put in office by the electorate.
President Obama is the product of Kenyan-British father who had no intent to permanently domicile or naturalize. Mr. Obama was born a dual citizen. He was knowingly elected as such. But does that fact change the substance of our Republican Law? What would Presidents Jefferson and Madison or Chief Justices Jay and Story think of the eligibility of such a candidate? Why aren’t we being honest about this assessment?

If he is such a smart and perceptive guy, why didn’t he raise that question during the 2008 election when Hilary Clinton was busy with pursuing that case in a court.

Not to be discordant, but there is a problem with some that would use a simple constitutional question and use it for expedient (selfish) political purpose. If the motive of some is to rid the current officeholder by means of a technicality for reasons premised on said person is unamerican, criminal, or negligent in his duties. Exactly! And at the time that Obama was born a dual citizen, we did not allow anyone other than children under age 18 to retain dual citizenship. Whether you were born as my child was not long after overseas of two US citizen parents or inside the US of parents of differing nationality, you were NOT a “natural born citizen.”
What people should be screaming to look at are the Naturalization Papers held by the State Department. While there were different rules for different circumstances, in Obama’s case he would have had to choose to be a US Citizen at age 18. He would have had to formally reject any other citizenship in any other country and formally accept his US citizenship, just as any other naturalized citizen must do. And those naturalization papers – then and now – state right on the bottom “not eligible for the US presidency.”
I do not believe that he is even a US citizen, specifically because he states on his own website that he “allowed his Kenyan citizenship to expire” – both acknowledging that he is was a dual citizen and also that he did not formally reject his Kenyan citizenship.

I suppose I owe some explanation and perspective;
1. Someone born abroad who later naturalizes had no control over his fate, yet we preclude them from holding the office. Why, you might ask? Well, twofold…first, they are obligated to have some form of allegiance (obey the laws) to their nation of birth (as dual citizens); second, they were raised by foreign parents to have a particular foreign allegiance (cultural or political).
2. Yes, we do not believe in perpetual allegiance but we do live in era where dual citizenship is acceptable (though I don’t believe so) for those that wish to have such despite a naturalization oath. For those that reach the age of majority and do not choose, some laws are automatic as to citizenship regardless of such. In Mr. Obama’s case, the lack of evidence of his official abjuration of any foreign citizenship reaffirms the same argument that precludes naturalized citizens from eligibility for the presidency.
It is worth mentioning that one cannot become or lose the condition of citizenship at birth. You either were an NBC or you weren’t. He was not by his own admission.

Tell Donald that the state of Hawaii has officially and repeatedly authenticated the birth certificate.
Tell Donald that Article IV, Section 1 of the United States Constitution, known as the Full Faith and Credit Clause, states that within the United States have to respect the “public acts, records, and judicial proceedings of every other state.”
Tell Donald that Obama did have dual citizenship, but it expired when he became an adult. But that doesn’t matter to Obama’s eligibility. The US doesn’t care who other nations claim as their citizens otherwise countries could claim people as citizens and disrupt our elections.

If you were born in American regardless of your parents citizenship the US sees you as a US citizen. It depends on the laws of other countries if you can have dual citizenship. My gut feeling is that Obama was indeed born in Hawaii, but that his birth certificate will show one or more factors that could have made him ineligible for the presidency, or at least factors that would prove very embarrassing for the man.

Why did the governor of Hawaii suddenly clam up and decide not to release his supposedly concrete proof of Obama’s legitimacy?
Why has Obama consistently refused to release any of his documents, when doing so (if those documents don’t contain damning information) would instantly end this mess and make his stature more presidential?
I recently renewed my driver’s license. To do so, I had to contact my state of birth and get a sealed and certified copy of my birth certificate. This was a trouble-free and very easy process that took $35 and four days in the mail. I feel confident that Barack Obama can find the $35 somewhere in petty cash, and I’ll be content waiting the additional four days for proof that our president is legitimate.

Those born under the old regs, as Obama and my child were, are still subject to them. Sorry, NO. Barack Sr. was not a citizen of the United States of America. He was not even a legal resident in the way that he would have a green card. Student visa. Obama Sr. was a citizen of Kenya &/or the UK (Kenya was part of the British Empire until after WWII). Thus, Obama is not “natural born” – even if he was born here.

If an American wants to travel to Europe, he needs a passport. You must either provide the State Department with a certified copy of your birth certificate or naturalization papers as proof of US citizenship. Why should we ask less of a politician?
When John McCain was nominated, the press pointed out that he was born in the Panama Canal Zone while his father, a US Naval officer was assigned there. McCain produced his birth certificate and verified his status as a natural born American citizen. Res. 511, on April 10, 2008 during the 110th Congress that declared John McCain a “natural-born citizen.” The resolution, sponsored by Barack 0bama and Hillary Clinton, passed unanimously. Resolution 511 was agreed to in the Senate without amendment and with a preamble by Unanimous Consent. A record of each senator’s position was not kept.
While in committee, chairman Patrick Leahy (D-VT) and the Senate Judiciary Committee concluded that McCain was a “natural-born” citizen because both of his parents were American citizens. This conclusion does not hold true for 0bama since his father was not an American citizen.

Whereas there is no evidence of the intention of the Framers or any Congress to limit the constitutional rights of children born to Americans serving in the military nor to prevent those children from serving as their country’s President;

Whereas the well-being of all citizens of the United States is preserved and enhanced by the men and women who are assigned to serve our country outside of our national borders;
Whereas previous presidential candidates were born outside of the United States of America and were understood to be eligible to be President; and
Whereas John Sidney McCain, III, was born to American citizens on an American military base in the Panama Canal Zone in 1936: Now, therefore, be it
Resolved, That John Sidney McCain, III, is a ‘natural born Citizen’ under Article II, Section 1, of the Constitution of the United States.
When challenged, John McCain cooperated fully from the beginning and provided his ‘original hospital-generated birth’ certificate in his effort to support his case for presidential eligibility. Once again, the same can’t be said for 0bama. It is ironic that 0bama was a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee that cleared McCain while he was serving as a U.S. Senator. 0bama knew that his father was not an American citizen, but during this Senate Judiciary Committee investigation he was able to remain virtually silent on the matter since he was running for president.
Are we to believe that in the resolution’s own wording and with the arguments presented that 0bama did not see a significant problem with his own natural born citizenship status? Yet, neither the Senate nor 0bama ever brought to light this significant Constitutional issue. The Senate voted and approved the committee resolution unanimously. There was no congressional committee investigation, resolution, or Senate vote in the case of 0bama.
The progressive-run 110th Congress could have, and should have, completed the same process for 0bama that they did for John McCain when he was challenged to prove “natural-born” citizenship, but they chose not to. Why? It was clear then that 0bama’s father was not an American ……..

Therefore, had McCain been elected president, then there would certainly have been an effort from the left to file suit and disqualify him from serving as president. Ironically, the “birther” label would have then applied to the left. Interestingly, a bill S.2128: ‘Natural Born Citizen Act’ meant to define the term “natural born Citizen” was proposed and sponsored by three Republicans in 2004 during the 108th Congress. This bill was referred to committee, hearings held, but never advanced past that point. It would be interesting to learn what motivated the proposal of this particular bill at this time…….

Perhaps Barack Hussein Obama, Sr. is not his father and these Kenyans really aren’t related to him at all? There are all kinds of ideas about what is on the long-form certificate that al-Bama doesn’t want the nation to see and one of them is that it will reflect something different about his parentage. In fact, it may actually reflect two American-citizen parents which would make the whole citizenship issue moot, to a certain extent.

My sister in law was born in Japan to a US Army officer and his American wife. Jill had dual US-Japanese citizenship and, at 18, was required to declare her choice. Her parents could not make this choice for her.
A British Air Force exchange officer married to another RAF officer had their only child while stationed at Luke AFB, in Glendale AZ. Black & Bobbi took their baby girl home to UK. She did not like school much but was very fond of horses, so she got a job in Florida traveling with thoroughbreds. The problem with Obama is that regardless of where he was born, he may have had dual citizenship in either US-Kenya because of his Kenyan father or US-Indonesia because he was adopted by his Indonesian stepfather. The problem is that he did not declare his US citizenship at 18.
If he was at Occidental on a Fulbright grant and travelled on an Indonesian passport when he turned 18, his de jury selection was Indonesian, not US. This explains why he would need to falsify a draft registration using a form not available until years later. As a foreign national, he would not be required to register with selective service.
It’s not the facts that will hurt Obama; it’s the cover up and all the lies.

I am in the middle of reading a book I just found out about a couple of weeks ago. I plan on sending a copy of this book to Donald Trump and my representative. The book is called “The Third Terrorist” by Jayna Davis.

I would urge all of you to read this book. The OK City bombing was not just the act of two “Right Wingers” as the Government at the time and sick media wanted us to believe. I’m stunned to find out it was another act of Jihad. A former member of the Iraqi Republican Guard was an accomplice to Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols. I’m assuming Janet Reno and her Ilk, the Clintons, wanted to protect Bill Clinton politically and that is why the FBI dropped this.
The FBI is supposed to be an apolitical organization to protect this country. Since Clinton it has been anything but.
What is wrong with the people who are supposed to be protecting a country that they would lie, and cover up. I’m more convinced than ever that Barack Hussein Obama isn’t a Natural Born citizen, and I’m more convinced than ever that those in the Government especially the FBI know it. I’m sick and sad and I’ve never felt more revolted and scared where I live now. How naive I was to believe these morally bankrupt degenerates that are running this country. Running it into the ground is more like it. Have no respect for Obama. They know he’s a fraud and they are covering up!!!!
Did any of you know that after the first Gulf War between 1991-93 thousands of so called Iraqi refugees were let into this country? The problem is, they were not screened properly. A former Army Intelligence Officer who was in charge of the screening tried to warn Washington, that there was a possibility that these so called refugees were infiltrated with soldiers from Saddam Hussein’s Army. His warnings were ignored by Washington(what else is new.)
After an investigation in 2002 by LA Weekly it was discovered that an influx of six thousand ex-Iraqi combatants had immigrated to the United States. Yes everyone, we have at least six thousand members of Saddam Hussein’s former military wondering around the United States now. One named Hussain Al-Hussaini who was arrested in MA as a homeless person a couple of weeks ago, after he slashed someone in the face.
The same Hussain Al-Hussaini who aided Timothy McVeigh in the Oklahoma city bombing. Doesn’t that make you feel safe now? God help us.

Too exclusive an emphasis on the eligibility issue might give the impression that we don’t have an argument when it comes to his actions in office.
OTOH, if we demonstrate that there are multiple layers of fallacy and fraud in the identity that Obama sold to the public in order to vault himself into the presidency, that certainly adds to the case that he is not someone who should ever have been given that kind of power — just as he obviously could never have gotten the lowest level of security clearance at any intelligence agency.

You are he one who doesn’t get it. Obama made his citizenship decision just as Jill did and Black’s daughter did. After he was 18, He took a foreign exchange student grant as an Indonesian and traveled on to Pakistan on an Indonesian passport.

Let’s say what? He’s an American Citizen? Yes, of course he is an American Citizen, he was born one. He certainly cannot be considered Natural Born, to be such he would have to be BORN without any allegiances to another country. Recall John Jay’s letter to Washington, it is a gross error in reasoning that one can be born with a foreign allegiance and still be considered a “natural born Citizen”.

Many “birthers” have done exactly that and every one of the Republican hopefuls for 2012 has failed, including Palin for calling it a distraction (or did she say “diversion?”) and West for ignoring it altogether. This really worries me because “birthers” aren’t the tiny margin that the lamestream media would have us believe. According to the latest poll, paid for by WND, the majority of Republicans and conservatives, as well as a good portion of Independents and even a small percentage of Democrats, the question of Barky’s eligibility is valid. Should a good number of these voters go with a third-party “birther” candidate, the Republican/conservative ticket could be split significantly enough to give the win to Barky (or whoever the Dems run, should it not be Barky). There are lots of reasons Obama is ineligible and it’s best to cover all bases as no one can predict what any court will do (think: Kelo). The issue of the passport is important as well. If he used an Indonesian passport to visit Pakistan after he was 18 years old, that makes him inelible as he reached the age of reason (supposedly, as he shows no reason as an adult) and, de facto, chose Indonesian citizenship, and which is one more arrow in our collective quiver. Did Obama’s stepfather adopt Obama because if he did it would have been done in Hawaii or in Indonesia. If he was adopted his original birth certificate would have been revised. I have seen revised birth certificates. Adoptions require a change on the birth certificate. It then supersedes the orignal BC. Now, if his stepfather negated the adoption after the divorce which would have been done in the courts, then the BC would have been revised again and would clearly show “Revised” and would state it would have been revised by court order.
My nephew had something similar to the Certificate of Live Birth which his parents got when he was born from the hospital. He used it to try to get a passport. It was not allowed by the Federal government. He had to get a certified Birth Certificate that was issued by the state.
The document that Obama released would not allow anyone to even get a passport. Yet, it will allow someone to be President . . . go figure!

Answer: He didn’t. That is all created by the birther sites. There has never been a lawsuit against Obama just for his birth certificate. NEVER. And Obama has shown the official and only birth certificate that Hawaii issues.

Answer: For two reasons. The OFFICIAL birth certificate, the one that he showed, is the correct one to show. Second, it is not possible to show the long form because Hawaii does not send it out anymore. It only sends out the short-form–to everyone. No one in Hawaii has gotten a long-form birth certificate since the short-form became official in 2001, not even people born before 2001.

Answer: The estimate of the amount of money is entirely a birther creation. Most of the firms working for Obama did so on a pro bono basis. There was never a lawsuit just for the birth certificate. Obama has a RIGHT not to show his college transcripts or his passport. No president ever has before.

The birth certificate is only a small part of the issue and has already become a diversionary red herring. The real big issue is that many Constitutional scholars believe our Constitution requires the Presidential and VP candidates to be “Natural Born Citizens”, as stated in the Constitution, the term being defined as both parents, U.S. Citizens at the time of birth of the candidate. This was specifically included to avoid the potential for uncertain or split loyalty to other countries/governments. President Obama, by his own admission, is the first U.S. President that U.S. Citizens knowingly elected that clearly does not meet that crucial requirement.

Everyone knew that Obama did not meet this test, but chose to ignore it. Thus the Constitution has been subverted. The U.S. Senate debated McCain’s eligibility (birth place issue and citizenship by virtue of his parent’s citizenship) and voted to support him in Senate Resolution 511. Why isn’t the media labeling the entire Senate a bunch of “Birthers”? I smell a big dose of Hypocrisy here.
Obama (and people like George Soros) glories in the fact of this stunning achievement. He believes the Constitution is a changing document that HE can change at will through manipulating public opinion and by any other manner of deceit available. He doesn’t believe in the Constitutional process for amending the Constitution. Just go around or ignore the legal process established by our Founders and preserved for us in the Constitution. Liberals and the media label anyone that questions Obama’s eligibility a “birther”. The public is being brainwashed about the specifics of this issue. Many are led to believe that it only concerns whether Obama was born in the US or not. Or, if his mother conveniently conferred US citizenship on her son.
Clearly, if Obama wasn’t born in the US, then he is not eligible, and should be prosecuted for fraud. But, this is much more serious than that. It is about Congress not following the Constitution. It is about the Supreme Court not ruling on the original intent of this “Natural Born Citizen” requirement. It is about States not standing up and demanding the federal government to obey the law of the land. The U.S. Supreme Court has abdicated its responsibility for interpreting the original intent of Constitution and applying that to the laws that Congress passes. We have been thrown to the whims of public opinion, to the liberal media, to anyone who challenges Constitutional law with the expectation that they will get away with it because the average citizen has become much too complacent to even care.
Do we need any more evidence of the wisdom our Founding Father had in including this requirement (loyalty at birth to the United States by virtue of Parents US Citizenship) for our President and Vice President? Do we clearly understand the precedent that is being imposed on us? That is, a foreign dictator or terrorist could father a child in the U.S. who could later run for POTUS simply by virtue of being born in the US!!
Unfortunately, we are witnessing the same type of slippery slope disintegration on other issues like immigration and fiscal responsibility.
My fear in all of this is that Obama will somehow magically come up with a long form birth certificate and everyone will say or believe the issue is resolved. Not so! And I wish the State and Congressional Republicans would do more to bring to light the underlying Constitutional crisis! Unless we stop this corrosion and willful destruction of the U.S. Constitution, we will be doomed as a Nation that abandoned its inspired Law.
