Dana Perino: It’s Interesting How Obama Says Things That Are So Quickly Proven False (Obama Lying Again)

Good question. Dana Perino pointed out the administration’s total disregard for the truth today on FOX News Sunday,
“It is interesting to me how the administration allows President Obama to say things that are so quickly proven false… The facts are standing in the way of their rhetoric.”
Or, in other words, Obama is a proven liar and doesn’t seem to care.
President Obama told the American public on Friday:
So any notion that my administration has shut down oil production might make for a good political sound bite, but it doesn’t match up with reality. We are encouraging offshore exploration and production.
It was a horrible lie.
The American Petroleum Institute responded to the president:
The Obama administration continues to delay or defer action on developing our domestic resources of oil and natural gas at every turn.
“The trend is alarming. The administration has postponed lease sales in offshore areas. It has cancelled lease sales in onshore federal lands. It has extended permitting timelines for current leases and added unnecessary regulatory burdens. It has chosen inaction on essential energy projects that would create jobs, drive economic growth, and boost federal revenues.
“The administration is well on its way toward creating higher gasoline prices for Americans.
“To get more oil and gas, we need more access. Placing more government lands and waters off-limits and forcing companies to focus on areas that may show little promise even if already under lease will not solve our energy challenges.
Dana Perino is right.
It is frightening that the Obama Administration is so willing to openly lie to the American public.

Oh, I’m sure Dana Perino noticed long before this. The easiest thing in the world is to observe exactly the phenomenon she’s talking about. It’s just that she finally gets the proper circumstance on national television to broach this subject.
Before Obama, it would have been unimaginable to me that any president could lie so pervasively and continually to the American people, and that so many millions would just swallow uncritically everything he says.
But these last couple years of this tragic presidency have educated me immensely about the damage that can be done by millions of thoughtless, unquestioning Americans who are so undeservedly proud of electing this fraud, as well as the mass media that “serves” these pablum-consuming hordes.

Good point Dana. Because there wasn’t a no drilling policy during the Bush Admin and gas was well over $4.00 a gallon when you were in the White House. Then they released the info and it was all due to speculation. So, they lied. Oil really wasn’t $150.00 or $200 a barrel. It was pure speculation on the market and the oil companies got mega rich and didn’t pay taxes. Call Obama what you want but Dana is detractor of truth and her influence on FOX News is exactly the kind of BS you would expect. I disagree. Obama and the ‘rats are communists (this is the term I prefer to use, but however you describe them exactly, they are totalitarians), and saying that they are simply making errors in judgment hurts this claim. It comes across to many as, “well they mean well, and maybe they can make corrections.”
I personally agree with you that it is inconsequential as to what motivates their destructive actions, because if motivated by ignorance it is the kind of ignorance that is embedded for good. But our perceptions aren’t the only ones that mattter, and for this reason I prefer describing them as what I think they are, evil.
