BOMB BLAST in Jerusalem- At Least 25 Injured at Bus Station ..Update: 1 Woman Has Died

Sky News reported:

Two people have reportedly been killed and many others injured by a bomb attack that blew apart a bus in central Jerusalem.

At least 20 people were injured.

More… BG added: Reports are, it was not a suicide attack.

More…Israeli police confirm that this was a “terrorist” attack. Rescue teams are on scene. One victim in very critical condition.

More…. Haaretz is reporting that the blast was caused by an explosive device placed next to a telephone pole opposite a crowded bus stop outside the International Convention Center in Jerusalem.

More……One victim, a woman, has died. Police are searching for the suspect who has reportedly left the area. The female victim is reported to be a 59 year old American. This has not been confirmed.

More…..Fox News has confirmed that the woman killed was an American. Her name has not been released…… Now reporting that the American was one of the injured victims who was treated and released.

More….. YNet News reported that authorities were able to confirm the fatality’s identity only several hours after the attack. The woman did not carry any ID or wallet. Even after identifying the woman, police officials did not publish the name. The victim’s identity is expected to be cleared for publication later on.

I see a more sinister plot in these attacks. As Hamas fires rockets and sets bombs in blatant attacks against Israel the question not being asked is: Why now?

Last week there was a march in Gaza in support of a UN resolution creating a Palistinian state. Hamas is NOT interested in such a Resolution as it would end one of their core pillars of existance. They broke up the march and stopped all of foreign media from recording or reporting on the march. Within hours Hamas attacked Israel in the first acknowledged morter and rocket attack in years.

I think Hamas wants Israel to defend itself so that Hamas can KILL those PALISTINIAN marchers that they now see as their enemy! Hamas wants to use Israel as cover for the blantant MURDER of their own people. If Israel makes any serious military move, look for a few thousand of those very same Palistinian marchers, those that want a seperate Palistinian state, to turn up dead.
