In January 2009, before the president signed his failed $787 billion stimulus bill into law, Barack Obama lectured America saying,
“Everyone must sacrifice for the greater good… Everyone must have some skin in the game.”
Everyone but Barack and Michelle Obama.
After their latest lavish party last night the Obama White House announced that Gladys Knight will perform for the Obamas at their next lavish party on Monday.
Woo-Hoo.

PR is everything. Bush refused to defend himself; as a result the Democrats filled the information gap and convinced most Americans that Bush was an idiot, a liar, and an incompetent.
Obama refuses to address the horrible PR generated by his endless partying. He appears disconnected, uncaring, and selfish.
He’s making it much more likely that the country will elect a Republican president in 2012.

So, can’t the House defund Obummers’ crazy parties? If the House has control of the purse strings, cut the strings on vacations, flying all over for campaign donations on the taxpayers’ dime, and excess personal parties by the WH. Get a handle on these expenditures!!

My fantasy: one of the major anchors will pull a Casey Kasem on live TV and skewer Obama, the administration, and the entire MSM, complete with numerous swears.

There is a longer clip out there of this incident. Negativland made an entire album based on Kasem’s outburst. “The Letter U and the Numeral 2.”

The present occupant of the White House knows we don’t like his frequent partying. It’s beginning to look as though he’s doing it on purpose…
Not unlike the infantile way he handled his opponents during the campaign. A certain finger to the face as if to relieve an itch.
It’s all the maturity this pathetic one can muster.
For those who laughed, uproariously, at the time: Is it just as funny now that the finger’s for you?

It’s only fair to warn any performers who are considering an appearance at the White House these days, that while think may you are hitching your wagon to a star, it’s actually a plunging meteor.
Peter Warner commented:
The man is acting like a king, not a President.
This is dereliction of duty. I believe the man is unable to handle the position he was elected to, and is desperately seeking distractions from the daily decisions he should be dealing with.
Further, those around him are facilitating his abdication of responsibility, for their own selfish pursuits. The nation’s welfare is in peril, and world freedom is threatened.
Surely Gd will raise up one in the midst of this, who will lead us from this daily disaster. Pray for America and her leaders.
Best regards, Peer Warner.

Jimmy Carter rode out a crisis by wearing stupid sweaters, making maudlin speeches, and wringing his hands.
Clinton handled his crisis problems by biting his lower lip and feeling our pain.
Obama ignores the crisis, and either goes on a road trip or starts leading a chant of “Toga, toga, toga, TOGA!”

Union Power for Thee, But Not for Me
If the president is so upset with Wisconsin’s labor law reforms,
why won’t he allow federal workers to bargain collectively?
[The union horde is spreading, from Madison to Indianapolis to a state
capital near you. And yet the Democratic and union bigwigs engineering
the outrage haven't directed their angry multitudes at what is arguably
the most "hostile workplace" in the nation: Washington, D.C.
It will no doubt surprise you to learn that President Obama, the great
patron of the working man, also happens to be the great CEO of one
of the least union-friendly shop floors in the nation.
This is, after all, the president who has berated Wisconsin Gov. Scott
Walker's proposal to limit the collective bargaining rights of public
employees, calling the very idea an "assault on unions." This is also the
president who has sicced his political arm, Organizing for America, on
Madison, allowing the group to fill buses and plan rallies. Ah, but it's
easy to throw rocks when you live in a stone (White) house.
Fact: President Obama is the boss of a civil work force that numbers up to two million (excluding postal workers and uniformed military). Fact: Those federal workers cannot bargain for wages or benefits. Fact: Washington, D.C. is, in the purest sense, a "right to work zone." Federal employees are not compelled to join a union, nor to pay union dues. Fact: Neither Mr. Obama, nor the prior Democratic majority, ever acted to give their union chums a better federal deal.
Scott Walker, eat your heart out.]

Our national debt has been payed down. We have full employment. Medicare and Social Security are fully funded, and the future is brighter than ever.
All of this thanks to Obama. I think we should make him President for Life. Mmmm! Mmmm! Mmmm!… Barrak Hussein Obama!

WELL HELLO AGAIN BP (not that it’s gone
anywhere with Obama running the show)!!
Mubarak and decaf coffee
[And just last year, as human rights organisations were condemning Bahraini
state (read Sunni) persecution of opposition political figures (read Shia), the
US announced a $580mn expansion of its naval base there. After some
bullets and a cancelled Formula One season opener, the world has learned a
little more about Bahrain’s overwhelming majority Shia population ruled by a
Sunni minority, policed by Sunni expats from Pakistan and bankrolled by
Western patronage.
And Libya, that not-long-ago pariah oil exporter? Well what we did to land a
lucrative BP oil deal and grease some extra arms sales is particularly
nauseating now as Muammar Gaddafi declares war on his own citizens using
the weapons we sold him.
[..]
As Daniel Korski and Ben Judah have rightly pointed out, the West’s three
pillars of dominance in the Middle East – military presence, commercial ties
and client states – are crumbling in the sand.
This does not mean, however, the absolute end of American and European
influence in the region. The US’ economy remains three times the size of
China’s, so the feared “look East” policy of the Arab Gulf monarchies is likely
an exaggerated concern.
Likewise, although many on the “Arab street” have long admired Tehran’s
defiance, it is unlikely that centuries of mutual antagonism and three
decades of outright hostility will be undone by a non-ideological shuffling
of a few Arab governments.
To be sure, whoever emerges as victors in Tunisia, Egypt or elsewhere,
whether of nationalist or Islamist stripe, the last things they will give up
are the many perks of engagement with the West.]
give him (Obama) just as little more time.. /s/
