Bill O’Reilly screamed at Alan Colmes tonight on The O’Reilly Factor after Colmes defended the anti-American, anti-Semitic reporting on Aljazeera.
O’Reilly went off.

    I hate to say it but I am closer to Alan than Bill on this one. Yes, a bad slant to news in AJ. But, the only game in town that does call down the dictators. On trips overseas I have watched AJ (either that or CNN. Any choice there?) and the English station is very good. Not near the basis that plague CNN or BBC.

    Saw Colmes on a panel show some time back shortly after the end of the dual show with Hannity.
    He seemed reasonable. Said the big deal was…ratings. From which I deduced some of his schtick might be an act.

    I almost feel sorry for Colmes. He is the epitome of the clueless lib that Phil Ochs parodied in his song “Love Me Love Me Love Me I’m A Liberal.” He hasn’t had an original thought in his head in all the time I have seen him on the air. I often wonder if it’s not all an act. It matters not what the topic is, you know before he opens his mouth what side of the argument he will support. If the Aztecs were to raise a temple in Tucson and start tearing out the hearts of hapless citizens in sacrifice to the Sun God. Colmes would praise the city for its commitment to diversity.
