We knew Barack Obama was inexperienced. We knew he was weaned on Marxism. We knew he believed in redistribution of wealth…
But, we had no idea he was this dangerous.
It’s a dangerous time to be an ally of the United States.
The Telegraph reported:
The US secretly agreed to give the Russians sensitive information on Britain’s nuclear deterrent to persuade them to sign a key treaty, The Daily Telegraph can disclose.
Information about every Trident missile the US supplies to Britain will be given to Russia as part of an arms control deal signed by President Barack Obama next week.
Defence analysts claim the agreement risks undermining Britain’s policy of refusing to confirm the exact size of its nuclear arsenal.
The fact that the Americans used British nuclear secrets as a bargaining chip also sheds new light on the so-called “special relationship”, which is shown often to be a one-sided affair by US diplomatic communications obtained by the WikiLeaks website.
Details of the behind-the-scenes talks are contained in more than 1,400 US embassy cables published to date by the Telegraph, including almost 800 sent from the London Embassy, which are published online today. The documents also show that…
…A series of classified messages sent to Washington by US negotiators show how information on Britain’s nuclear capability was crucial to securing Russia’s support for the “New START” deal.
Although the treaty was not supposed to have any impact on Britain, the leaked cables show that Russia used the talks to demand more information about the UK’s Trident missiles, which are manufactured and maintained in the US.
Washington lobbied London in 2009 for permission to supply Moscow with detailed data about the performance of UK missiles. The UK refused, but the US agreed to hand over the serial numbers of Trident missiles it transfers to Britain.

Since you intimate that this disclosure by Obama of The Brits Nuke capabilities “should rightly” be part of ANY deal The U.S. makes/made with The Ruskies—as you have outlined in your comments, then I gotta wonder why they (The Russian’s) don’t worry more about exactly what Israel has? One would think that Israel’s nukes (supplied by The U.S.) would be of more concern to The Russian’s, since the odds are much better that Israel will eventually be pushed into a situation where the use of said nukes, may just be their only hope for survival in the region.

I am just reminded of the verse “Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.” It is prayer that is going to usher in the end of this wicked regime. Obama and his “handlers” have been blinded by the god of this age. His hate is a powerful force for evil but it is nothing compared to the power of love. Please pray for the President and Congress. Hating Obama is not going to achieve anything and anyone who responds with hate is allowing Obama to change him/her for the worse. START I (proposed by Ronald Reagan in 1982 and signed by George H.W. Bush in 1991) specifically requires notification from both Russia and the US “no later than 48 hours after it has been completed, of the transfer of items to or from a third State”. Items in this case meaning Trident ICBMs we transfer to Britain for their boomer force.
START treaty background and requirements are well documented by DoD at the following links – I haven’t seen any articles so far proving them to be “bogus” but will definitely take a look if anyone posts a link.

Hate to ruin the rant going on in this comment arena, but the START treaty was signed in 1991 by George H.W. Bush. That treaty requires the signatories (the U.S. and Russia, for example) to disclose the movement of nuclear weapons. That’s why the U.S. informed Russia about sending submarine-launched ballistic missles (SLBM) to Great Britain: the 1991 START treaty is law. The Senate ratified the treaty before President Bush signed it. Likewise, the Senate ratified the latest update to the treaty, wihich President Obama signed.
To summarize, its got nothing to do with Obama, nothing to do with the State Department. It has everything to do with a treaty that is 20 years old, signed by a Republican president. It also has to do with irresponsible reporting by London’s Daily Telegraph and, for that matter, The Blaze for not doing a little research before misinforming all you readers.
