As Obama continues to bow to foreign dictators….

As Obama continues to defend the Muslim Brotherhood…
As the unemployment rate continues to set records and the deficit continues to grow…
It’s ads like this one that make Americans wish for a different feel, a different country and a different president.
If he was smart Obama would force Government Motors to take down this ad.
But, then again, if he were smart we wouldn’t be having this conversation in the first place.
Related… Chrysler released their $9 million Super Bowl ad while requesting more taxpayer dollars.
It’s an Obama World out there.

Style my butt. Pretentious a$$ hats. Like these people in the video have anything to do with Americans. They produced junk and now they want to “Charm” us into buying that government subsidized junk.
Freddy commented:
Ralph Nader.
This is the name of the man that destroyed all of the style that American cars used to have.

Chrysler releases $9m Super Bowl ad
while requesting more taxpayer dollars
["I am paying shyster rates," Marchionne said, noting that Chrysler had
no choice in 2009 but to pay the high interest rates the government set
as part of its $15 billion Chrysler bailout. "We had no choice… I am going
to pay the shyster loans."
He called the loans "a thorn in my side."
Chrysler's also in talks with banks to refinance its debt and plans
to have an "agreement in principle" by end of March, he said.
Marchionne spoke at an auto industry conference sponsored by JD Power at a hotel here ahead of the National Automobile Dealers Association three-day convention. He said he is hopeful that the company can win an agreement in principle for $3 billion in low-cost Energy Department retooling loan — a move that is necessary for Chrysler to win private financing, Marchionne said.]

It’s the 1950′s.
Liberals believe the 1950′s represent the backward America they all are hoping would forever go away.
Government Motors making a slick Hollywood TV ad about an America they detest to the point they want it destroyed?
Why does it feel like another Great Bamboozle on the level of Hollywood’s Magnificent Fake Greek Columns propping up Hollywood’s fake Messiah.

Can anyone imagine Ronald Reagan bowing to ANY Saudi ? That should kill the comparisons.
We knew Ronald Reagan, he was our leader, Mr. Obama… you’re no Ronald Reagan.

It’s a Chrysler ad, not GM
Come now you Inbred- Idiot Liberal, Government Motors bailed out Chrylser as equally as it bailed out General Motors. Ford said no to Government Motors.

Note the lovely works of art that are shown in the before segment of the commercial? See how they had extra bits, shiny parts to bright colors that make them stand out?
Then they blink into the modern day and you see those soul-less, black lumps?
I think that says it all right there.

There was a time when an auto company made a profit for it’s investors and wasn’t just some giant pension plan.

One positive note on the video. There were no “tokens” in any of the scenes…

On the bright side, I see where 38% think Obama did a better job than Oreilly and answered the questions substantively. Someone will have to deny or confirm that, because no way I watch that ever.

The most embarrassing Super Bowl gaffe? – EXCERPT: Was it Christina Aguilera botching the national anthem on the world’s biggest stage? No, not really, as I’ll explain… You may have noticed that Chrysler released the longest ad in Super Bowl history on Sunday night, featuring the new Chrysler 200 driven by Detroit native rap star Eminem… Not only did Chrysler spend $9 million on a long Super Bowl ad when asking for a better deal on their loan from taxpayers, the CEO of Chrysler managed to insult taxpayers for not offering more friendly terms on their government bailout

What’s telling is that, right at the end, the new cars are generic just like all the others on the market, and have none of the “style” that the commercial has just showed from past years. It’s like saying, “Everything nowadays is crummy.” and then showing your own crummy stuff as an example.
lol commented:
Wow, if they fast forwarded to 2011, they could have a commercial of people getting their vechicles repo’d, and standing in line at the soup kitchen, because they all lost their homes to forclosure. Most Americans would be happy with JOBS, that’s what they want to get back to work.
Practical Jane commented:
Don’t be fooled. This ad is Obama approved via Cass Sunstein. It’s a nudge. Notice the conspicuous absence of minorities? They’re trying to foment a white hate they believe exists within the white man.

Oh and more, the electric car in the 1910s had a range of 100 miles, quite similar to that of today’s EVs. Now, if we only get something better than sliced bread.

Hey Freddy, you said:
“Ralph Nader.

Uh, “Unsafe at any Speed” was from 1965. What style did he destroy? Look at some of the cars built after 1965 that have plenty of style:
1967-1969 camaros
1968-1972 Chevelles, Cutlasses, Lemans/Tempest/GTOs, Skylarks
1968-1970 Dodge Charger
1967-1970 Cadillac Eldorado
1966-1970 Olds Toronado
The finned cars of the 1950s were voluntarily redesigned by the auto manufacturers before anyone knew who Ralph Nader was. The sleek, simple, modern look arrived, like the 1961 Lincoln, the 1963 Buick Riviera, and the overdone 50s look was just a passing fad. What does this have to do with Ralph Nader?
