Leftist Wisconsin Teachers Bring Students to Rally Against GOP Governor (Video)

Leftist teachers brought their students to the Mid-Day Unionized Government Employee Capitol Rally this week.

The MacIver Institute reported:

Many of the hundreds of Madison East High School students didn’t know why their teachers brought them to the union protests at the Wisconsin Capitol Tuesday.

But they knew they were just happy to be out of class.

In any state I’ve ever lived in teachers have to get authorization for field trips – and parental permission in writing. Who allowed these teachers to take their students out of class to attend a demonstration? And were the parents even informed?

What the public employee unions will NOT admit here is that they DO NOT have the sympathy of the public on their side. In fact, the more these greedy suckers-off-of-the-taxpayers demonstrate, the more pissed off the public becomes. Esp. among those in the DPS – the Dreaded Private Sector – who are either unemployed or underemployed.

My view is that this is a very good thing to come about. Lets bring all the information about the bloated salaries and greedy aims of the unions out into the open. Lets let the public, the people paying the bills, decide.

with devoted, intelligent parents, and the advances in technology, public school are a bit antiquated. teacher unions have progressed to a point where teachers can be replaced by a multitude of technology. stop the federally funded babysitting program.

Public teachers no less. DOE is a disgrace and should be abolished. School used to be about teaching the basics. Now, it’s just for indoctrination while their young minds are still impressionable. You can’t even trust those in authority to look after your best interests. God help our young people.

parents approval doesn’t carry the same weight anymore – especially with a controlling party that finds such nuisanses time consuming. a group of students in ma were taken on a field trip to the local mosque unbeknownst to the parents. recently parents in texas found some students would be involved in mandatory arabic lessons – MANDATORY ISLAM: That’s what happens when you get federal grant money from the Obama Regime. i’m sure there are other examples of parents not being in the loop as to what events are planned for their children. [A course about Islam taught at California public middle schools has come under fire after parents have learned that students wear Muslim robes, adopt Islamic names and stage make-believe pilgrimages to Mecca to learn about the faith - 2-18-02]

Why do unions hate children? Children are cannon fodder. It is the same in any communist country. If these students realized that they are going to be taxed into slavery for the rest of their lives, maybe they would not be so quick to be used.

Think about how much these leftist make what 50grand or more and only work for 8 months a year with all their holliday’s and time off in the summer.

I taught in the public school system for 7 years and quit when I had kids. I would have quit anyway because the system is such an unbelievable mess. I could never reconcile the ridiculous ideas, incompetence, and waste of taxpayer money I witnessed on a a daily basis. It’s a miracle that any child is able to learn in that system. We are home schooling our kids, as are more and more of my family members.

My husband is now in a union, but he doesn’t get paid days off like the teachers do. Maybe if they had to deal with the things that other unions and regular folk had to, they would change their tune. It appears that some of the other unions (like my hubby’s) are going to have to change their tunes because the companies aren’t going to play their games anymore.

The public unions in California dominated the donations during the last election. California needs a right-to-work law, just to ensure that the unions actually represent their members when they make campaign donations.

People who think teachers have bloated salaries and an easy job don’t know what they are talking about. I served 4 years in the Marine Corps infantry and I am now a teacher. I love my job but it is far from easy, in fact it is the hardest thing I’ve done since being a squad leader. As for unions they have been a big part of the professionalization of the American workforce which has helped drive our economy. Another driver of our economy is an educated workforce that the private sector can rely on. How about we stop fighting amongst ourselves in the middle and working classes and realize that a very small portion of the population is making millions off of our backs. You want to really put a dent in the budget deficit, talk to the people making $50 million not $50 thousand.

It has gone out all over the world at this point that your teachers as well as the Unions have held an action of protest, as I am sure you are very aware of this fact I will be very brief. It came to my attention for the fact that it is now revealed that HS students were bused to the location of those very protests. Those videos have aired as well, many of the students did not know for what or whom they were protesting for or against. So the question that begs to be answered is, weather the Schools, Teachers or The W.A.S.B. as well as The Unions had issued the proper permission slips and information to all parents that would have their children being removed and taken to these protests in order to swell the crowds for this event?
As was seen on televisions all over the planet, there were calls for “Fighting like the Egyptians” This is against the oath of civil office to hold the health and safety of the populations in which those persons serve. I am doing the research on this as I feel a Class Action Suit must be filed on behalf of all parents for the expressed propose of sending a clear message that no one has the power to KIDNAP and place another human being in harms way for their own political agendas! I am calling for a felony (As in kidnapping is a felong offence) investigation of all of the above mentioned Offices as well as all the Official Officers involved.
