Nobody likes a fleebagger.

Illinois Tea Party Patriots confronted the Wisconsin Fleebaggers at their Illinois hideout this week.
Two-thirds of American voters oppose the tactic used by the Democrats in Wisconsin who fled the state to Illinois this month.
Rasmussen reported:
Half of America’s voters favor public sector unions for government workers, but they strongly oppose the tactic by Wisconsin state senators to flee their state to prevent a vote that would limit the rights of such unions.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey shows that only 25% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of this tactic, while 67% disapprove. State legislators in Indiana have used the same approach to avoid a vote in their state. (To see survey question wording, click here.)
Sizable majorities of Republicans and voters not affiliated with either major party reject such a strategy. Democrats are fairly evenly divided, with 48% approving and 44% disapproving.

Here’s how Rassmussen polls work.
They target “likely voters” that have a “landline phone”, as Scott’s outfit does robo-polling. How many people under the age of 35 do you know that still have a “landline”?
Rassmussen is the go-to man for Right Wing validation, and he provides all the talking-points they could ever want.
Joe Redfield commented:
The exact percentages don’t matter; a definite majority of voters do not approve of lawmakers skipping out on the job THEY ASKED FOR! Democrats running for the Wisconsin Senate last fall should have explained before the election how they felt about reporting for work if they had the vapors about some piece of legislation up for consideration.

I have a story that correlates the behavior we’re seeing in Wisconsin…
I was in the checkout line at the grocery store the other day behind a young mother with a 3 or 4 year old child. The child was enticed by the colorful wrapper of a candy bar on the display rack. But mom said, “No! We’re not buying candy!”
The kid was persistent. She repeatedly insisted, “I want it! I want it!” By the time the groceries were bagged, the kid was kicking and screaming and crying while Mom tried in vain to reason with an irate, 3 or 4 year old child.
The line was growing and the customers were getting impatient, tense. I turned around and smiled at them in an appeal for patience. After a lot of head shaking and eye rolling, one lady commented, “Kid must be a Democrat!”
Everyone laughed out loud and startled the child. She was silenced. She looked apprehensively at the line of people, unsure and afraid of what had just happened. Mom rescued her, lifting her up and heading for the parking lot.
The rest of us began to talk about the temper tantrum the Democrats and their union cronies have on display in Wisconsin. Really, they lost this battle back in November, but just like children, they won’t take “NO” for an answer. Unfortunately, the Democrat controlled media are shielding them from the loud laughter of the adults in the electorate. Too bad we can’t startle them back to the reality of their situation. In November, the electorate said “NO!” to public sector unions financing the Democrat Party. Someone should tell them. Why are we trying to reason with juveniles?
Trish commented:
David Ray, I wish I’d been there! That is exactly how the dems are acting, like spoiled children when they don’t get their way. They whine cry and bully until the whole world has to listen to them. These antices may make them heroes among liberals and union thugs, but it makes the rest of us sick, and proves that they don’t want justice or even democracy, elections don’t have consequences, they want to be in charge of everything.
Eric commented:
Oh, they will hear from the adults again…November 2012. I’m looking forward to this next election as much as I was this past election. We are doing it folks. The only reason WI gov can do what he’s doing it because of US. The Tea Party is doing it…have patience, don’t let up, and we WILL change this country back to the great nation it was.
Muffler commented:
Yeah the Dems are acting exactly as children who parents lie to them and are not to be trusted.
Rock commented:
A new low in politics, if they fail to have their way, they go on strike, not really a shining example for allowing unions in the political arena.

In addition to which, this particular flee-bagger can’t even park his car properly between the (yellow) lines. Guess he was in a rush to check out the ‘Tilted Kilt’ chicks at the hotel. Good to see he has his ‘priorities’ well aligned.

Let’s face it – the Wisconsin legislators are unlikely to get a chapter in “Profiles in Courage”
They are derelict in their duties and really their staffs should be suspended without pay since they are not presently needed.

Muffler @ 7: Yeah the Dems are acting exactly as children who parents lie to them and are not to be trusted. Yeah, and the Governor is acting like the guy you share a meal with who runs up a bill 3X larger than anyone else at the table. Now he wants to split the check evenly between everyone seated at the meal. So, why do YOU trust him?
And two thirds of Americans support the Wisconsin Public Employees in their fight against the Governor. What does that tell you?
jimg commented:
You’re absolutely correct, Airon Later. Please advise each and every Democratic office holder you know to follow suit to what those senators are doing in Wisconsin.
It’s a sound strategy, and should be duplicated in every state.
Appreciated.

Two thirds?!
LOL! Yea, just like two thirds supported the dems in 2010…
How did that work out for you?
