    Jim, why would anyone buy an American TV or dvd player? The Japanese and Koreans produce the best of those. Open your computer and look at the “made in” stamp on the parts. I’d be surprised if you’d find even one that says “made in US”.

    Buying only American goods won’t change anything. So when are you going to set up signs “Amerikaner! Wehrt euch! Kauft nicht bei Ausländern”? (“Americans! Fight back! Don’t buy foreign goods!” yes, I’m doing to the comparison with the infamous Nazi-signs on purpose.)

    My own tv is Toshiba. My dvd player’s Panasonic. My dvd drives in my rig are Samsung. Why would I buy local products if the foreign competition is better?

    Walker is bad for WI and America? So give me an alternative. Oh wait, there’s only the morons from the democratic party who have only one goal: destroying America. Not much of an alternative.

    WI is in a sad financial shape not because of the citizens buying foreign goods, but because the local government has ruined the finances with financing utter crap for years. That’s how it is. The holes in our budgets, from California to Austria don’t come from “evil foreign goods”, but from our own politicians who spend without even the slightest hint of common sense.

    Wisconsin is a “closed shop” state. In order for a teacher to work, he must join a union. Then the union uses his dues to contribute to political activities that he may find disgusting. This is little more than Mafia thuggery. They hold a pistol to your head and force you to pay them protection money.

    All states should outlaw mandatory union membership. Slavery was outlawed some years ago.
